My car looks brand new! I have had Steve and his son Stephen work on my cars twice and both times have been amazing. Steve handles insurance companies so you have no stress of your own and he is extremely nice and personable. Steve's customer service feels like something nostalgic that doesn't exist anymore except for in his shop. He had a rental ready for me at the shop when I went to drop off my car making the process quick and seamless. The rental place he uses does not charge the customer and only charges the insurance taking some stress off the customer when insurance companies often charge after 2 weeks of having a rental. Steve stays in communication with your insurance company so you don't have to. I had $10,000 worth of damage to my car and he made it look brand new. I truly love Steve he is such a nice guy and doesn't stop until everything is absolutely perfect! He also offered to drive my car an hour and a half to get it to me since I live far away. I truly don't know anyone else like him or anyone who runs business in such a kind and thoughtful way. The first time I took my car to Steve's son Stephen it was after I had already taken my car to somewhere else and they didn't fix it. A tree had fallen on my car during a tornado and I had taken it where the insurance company wanted me to, months later my car still had a leak and the first place couldn't fix it, so then I took it to Stephen who spent a long time hosing my car down to see exactly where the leak was coming from and fixed it right away. He was able to tack it onto my first claim since it was an unresolved issue. Not many places are this helpful or kind. I cannot recommend them enough! read more

I am so glad a friend recommended this auto body shop to me. Both Steve Sr and Jr are wonderful guys who I feel like genuinely care about their customers and go above and beyond for them every time. Highland Ave Auto Body is how customer service used to be, which unfortunately is getting harder and harder to come by these days. I would much rather support this small, family owned business than go to the dealership where I'm going to get all these additional charges and someone trying to sell me services I don't need. My car was only a couple of years old and I feel like the dealerships encourage you to use them but at the end of the day, there's really no need and it's just a waste of money - as someone who has done both at different periods in my life, I can honestly say I can't see any difference in the professional quality of the work from Highland Ave Auto Body versus the dealership. The quality of the people is noticeably different though! It's reassuring to me as a female to know that I'm going to people who are honest, decent and down to earth and will not only do the right thing by me but will try to save me money in the process! They do phenomenal work and I was so pleased by the results. I've been to them a couple of times and they really do take all the work away from you when it comes to dealing with the insurance company as well. They work with a rental company too who will pick you up / drop you off at their shop, so everything is super easy. I had heard that Highland Ave Auto Body was a good shop, but found out for myself today. Steve and his son are courteous, down to earth people, that do great work at very reasonable prices. They replaced the fender trim on my suv for a fraction of the cost that the dealer would've charged, and didn't mind that I already had the replacement part. Awesome little body shop, don't let the small location without shiny lights and signs fool you, the service this place provides is as good as it gets. Owners/Mechanics treat you like family, and are understanding of the stresses of having the car fixed, while dealing with insurance for you. My car is good as new, and unless you know what you are looking for, you can't tell it was even in an accident... I was once rear ended on the highway pretty good, thankfully no one was hurt :) , but the car was banged up. Commerce's appraisal came to ~$500, but in the end, the repairs totaled up to ~$2000. The entire process was made simple for me, as all I heard of it was new appraisals commerce sent me by email. They also won't accept just any parts. In this accident, the parts commerce wanted them to use were worse than my banged up ones! Rather than take it as given, Steve refused, and convinced the insurance to let him use a part from his supplier. They also go out of their way to make sure you are happy. After this repair, my defogger wasn't working right, they fixed it no problem. Another time on another car I needed a mirror fixed, and they came out on a Saturday despite planning not to come in that day. (Even though they are officially open on Saturdays, on some days they are not there, call ahead!) read more

Great family owned shop! When I arrived, Stevie took a look at my hood and even started making calls and researching online (with me being present). That alone was very admirable because I could physically see what I was in store for in terms of pricing, style and quality. I had the car part delivered to their shop after shopping around online.
