I love it here! They're so consistent with the amount of syrups they add (which are homemade), they use quality milks (organic and their oat is minor figures barista oat blend!!!), and their espresso is phenomenal. We had ordered their coconut dulce de leche latte with oat and their macnut orgeat latte. Both were delicious. They also had a sprouted taro sourdough loaf and it was so good! They were so gracious to cut two slices out of the loaf we purchased so we could enjoy it. Their customer service was also above and beyond. The woman there made some latte art and she was very patient answering all our questions from the beans they had for retail vs their espresso on bar. She was super sweet and made sure we were taken care of. I also love the color scheme they have!! It's a nice ocean-y green with natural wood accents. Their espresso machine even matched. I love it here and recommended it to some friends too. They said it was a fantastic suggestion after they visited. When I come back, I'm always gonna stop here. read more

Matcha was amazing! (one of the best I've had) While the wait was a bit long, it was totally worth it. I ordered their goat cheese sandwich with fresh tomatoes and pesto, and while it was a bit too greasy the flavor was really tasty. I just WISH they used plastic or glass cups for their iced drinks as the paper cups don't hold up too long and you have to drink fast. Definitely check this place out! read more

Our whole experience with Collab Cafe was an amazing one!! Sure, it was a busy Sunday at prime brunch time, so our food took a little longer than it might otherwise, but everything was really good and the staff was really friendly and nice. We'll definitely be back next time we come to Kauai and highly recommend this place! Absolutely LOVED the loaf of ulu sourdough bread we bought (and the fact that they have both that and even gluten-free cassava sourdough too), which we really enjoyed with some macadamia nut pesto toast as part of our brunch. My matcha latte with mac nut milk was sooo good too omgg!! Really nice that they had Okinawan sweet potato and kalo (taro) hash, which was great as well. Last but not least, I really enjoyed the good vibes, decor, outdoor seating area, and how they use so many fresh & locally sourced ingredients / gave partnerships with Hawaii farmers! So amazing. Delicious thoughtfully crafted brunch w/great coffee. SUPER warm and friendly service. The fam had veg bennie w/local greens and avocado, brisket sammie, banana mac waffle w/a side of house (amazing) bacon, and the special breakfast pupusa. There was a slight mix up w/the kitchen and one of our dishes was delayed but the sweetest young woman at the counter swept in and took care of us. The people here really care about the customer experience. I always appreciate when establishments take so much pride w/what they do. A coworker recommended this coffee shop to me. It didn't disappoint. Their mac nut latte was delicious, sweet, just the way I like it. It even had grinded up mac nuts that you could taste in it. Just be careful because I mini choked on one! We tried their cinnamon roll $7 and avocado toast, which I believe was $15-$17. All in all, our two mac nut lattes plus the food cost close to $50. Gratuity is already included, 18%. Which I love that framework of tipping. Met the owner who was very personable. Want to come back to try more of their pastries and bread. read more

Amazing food and even better coffee. My wife and I stopped in real quick from a recommendation from a lady we had met a few hours prior and wow. My wife got a latte that was fantastic and I got a pour over which not only had great presentation with an info card about the farm it came from but it was also one of the best I have had in some time. Beware and read the fine print at the bottom of their menu. They charge everyone an 18% tip when you order. Somehow, this shows that they offer a "livable wage" to their employees. Ummm... no you don't if you force every customer to pay a tip whether it is deserved or not. The customer is making up for your lower wage. A collaboration between a local bakery, coffee roaster, and creamery the menu is focused and creative, relying on locally sourced ingredients. I tried the mushroom tartine with sautéed lions mane from Wailua, herb cheese and a soft poached egg. The presentation and taste were beautiful and balanced. Being able to add an egg to your toast is a novelty on this island. The house-made chili crunch and hibiscus jam are reasons enough for a visit. read more

Rude service for the high price! Service charge was outrageous! Some DEI B.S. brought over from Portland Or. Plate size and eatability was a joke. More about a look than a pleasant plate to eat. Bread for an avocado toast was an inch thick and NOT toasted. Avocado was actually guac. My first time there I only got a coffee and it took 20 min to get it. I had to ask for cream and sugar because there was NOT a coffee station. They think that the counter help is going to prepare your coffee like you would want it, then if you need to make it drinkable to your liking they and ask for C and S they get rude. I have worked as a Baker, a chef, and many times as a manager or consultant, this place has about a year, year and a half before the money runs out. And good riddens. As the owner you have the right to set whatever policy you want. This place is a hidden gem! Super cute vibe & I love all the collaborations with local purveyors & artists. My Hamakua Macadamia Nut Latte was out of this world! They also had a sample of Hola Aloha's Rye Taro Sourdough which was so good I bought a loaf to take home. Also got a great print & some stickers from Schorr Design. I was waiting for the bathroom to open and out comes an employee with his apron and towel (rag) hanging out of the apron. That is against health code to wear your apron to the bathroom.
