We arrived when they opened at 5p and sat in one of their communal tables. It was a hot day and the AC wasn't up to the challenge. With the oven, the crowd and weather, it was rather warm inside. However, I guess it replicated an authentic dining experience in Italy. The restaurant became packed shortly afterwards and the conversations and laughter echoed vibrantly. It felt like we were in Italy. Our server, Alfred, was a pro and a delight. He took care of us without breaking a sweat and always with a smile. We tried many pizzas, salads and pastas. Everything was delish. What really caught my eye was the ribeye steak, which we didn't try. It's a monster ribeye at a very reasonable price. It looked amazing. I have no doubt I will be scarfing down one of those in the near future. I highly recommend a visit if you haven't been. Go hungry and know the portions are generous.

The size of the pizza is about 3/4 of the size of La gigante from La pizza loca if you wanna compare. Super big and each slice is loaded with so much flavor. The sauce is not too overwhelming and pairs nicely together with all the toppings. Crispy crust. I'd definitely recommend coming here for fresh and delicious pizza. Now the salad well for $7 a bit pricey for a small bowl of lettuce, 2 very small wedges of tomato slice,1 small peppercheney and topped with loads of of shredded mozzarella. My suggestion, some shredded carrots a couple of cucumbers a couple of croutons would be nice.. maybe even an extra tomato or better yet three small cherry tomatoes.. but the pizza was pretty good. I really enjoyed the pizza dough. It was delicious so good luck to your business. I guess next time I won't order a salad and just enjoy having a pizza. We'll go back again. That atmosphere was very nice and also let me say this. Thank you so much for having such a clean, clean restroom for I really do appreciate it. Also also another suggestion can you not have your people clean while there's still pizza on the table and people are still eating regardless if the crowd has gotten smaller. Dust does travel.. not very sanitary. Again, other than that, it's a good place to eat. Food was good. What we had just a couple of tidbits.*

Recently, my son and I have been making pizzas on Friday nights as a bonding experience while my wife is out with friends. We make some, buy one, and compare. My son usually prefers his homemade, but Petrillo's is the exception! He loved the cheesy cheese pizza and the amazing cheese pull. I ordered half cheese and half their specialty pizza, which includes mozzarella, Romano cheese, house tomato sauce, Italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, onions, and green bell peppers. Their small pizza is 12 inches and has 8 slices, which is much larger than other places. Petrillo's Specialty Pizza is stacked with generous toppings and has a doughy but crispy bottom - the best of both worlds. I enjoyed the Specialty pizza, especially the Italian sausage. While I'm not a mushroom fan, I ate them anyway. I'll likely hold off on mushrooms next time. They provide generous amounts of complimentary crushed red pepper packets, paper plates, and napkins. Parmesan cheese packets cost extra, about $0.50 each, if I remember correctly. The staff were friendly and are local residents, which is always great to see in a mom-and-pop business. You can eat in or order from the take-out counter on the right side. It's best to order ahead to avoid a 20-25 minute wait. My only minor complaint was the pizza was a bit sloppy when I took a picture, but I understand they're busy getting orders out. I will definitely be back to Petrillo's for pizza!
