Christopher gave such amazing customer service at Cold Stone! He was super friendly, patient, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. Even though it was busy, he made sure every customer felt welcomed and taken care of. He went above and beyond to make our experience great, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his job. Employees like Christopher are the reason people keep coming back. Thank you for the awesome service!

5 stars for the great service! The workers were very friendly when my boyfriend and I came here on a Friday night. It was raining when we came and all the seats were full since everyone was trying to get out of the rain. They don't have too many seats either so be wary. If there was no rain I wouldn't stay inside personally because it feels pretty cramped. I always get the cheesecake ice cream w/ graham crackers and it was consistent to the other locations.

We had an amazing customer experience. We had a kids' size Birthday cake remix and a chocolate cone. They were polite and patient as we tasted a couple of flavors and then placed the order.

Ordered online about 30-45 minutes before store closing and order wasn't prepared and my order was eventually cancelled. Can't help but blame workers for simply refusing to do their kob

First time waiting so long for some ice cream. Coldstone serves the sweetest ice creams, but this location isn't worth it if you're just trying to get a grab n go dessert since they take a long time to serve you. I'm not personally a fan of their ive cream flavors since I've tried other ice cream places that are better & less sweet. Don't think I'll be coming back here again.

3.5 stars Activated charcoal isn't the only way to turn food jet black! Just have a look at Cold Stone's Boolicious "Treat or Treat" creation for Halloween! It's made of black Boo Batter (Cake Batter) Ice Cream mixed with chopped up Kit Kats, Halloween Oreos (with an orange filling), and M&Ms! Cold Stone usually mixes in all their toppings thoroughly into the ice cream base, but if you want any hope of the "Treat or Treat" looking like the poster, just ask to have all the mix-ins placed on top of the ice cream! Our friendly server happily obliged, and trust me--we got a great Instagram photo out of it!

The last time I was here I had the "butter cup," a classic vanilla cupcake with buttercream frosting--but it was THE BEST vanilla cupcake I've ever had. "Grandma's chocolate tea cake" was decadently rich and chocolaty, and the Hostess chocolate cupcake look was wonderfully nostalgic for this 90s kid. I've also had lemon drop which was light and refreshingly citrus. My volunteer organization provided Sibby's cupcakes for a private event and every single cupcake I had was so good, I don't care to say how many I ate . The neat thing about Sibby's is they also have gluten-free options and are completely peanut-free and tree nut-free. The location is in an odd place adjacent to downtown San Mateo with plenty of paid parking nearby along the train tracks, and a few limited parking spots right by the bakery. It's a takeaway only place with only a counter right by the door. The prices of the cupcakes are reasonable for the quality you're getting. This is worlds beyond the junk full of vegetable shortening "icing" that you would pick up at a local grocery store.

The shop has a small seating area upon walking in with mainly a counter and the cookies on display for you to pick what you would like to refer. Wait time: Practically no wait time waiting in line or for cookies after placing your order. Service: The workers were nice and greeted upon entry and were quick to put the order together. Order via worker standing behind the counter. Cookies: The 66% chocolate chip had big chunks of chocolate which the bitterness helped balance the cookie. The cookies n cream was a little sweet for me but had again pieces of Oreos inside with a nice texture. The chocolate peanut butter again had both chocolate and creamy peanut butter which didn't leave the mouth dry. The honey comb was a unique and different taste with the honeycomb providing a less common sweetness but can be overpowering. The toffee cookie had bits of toffee which again provided texture without being overly sweet. The oatmeal chocolate walnut cookie was my second favorite after the 66% dark cocoa due to the oatmeal again balancing the sweetness of the chocolate with the saltiness of the walnuts. Overall would recommend for a solid cookie with a fair price and the day olds were also extremely cheap for a better quality than you could get at other places.

I am absolutely in love with Schubert's princess cake. This may explain why the princess cake at the Cakery has often been hailed as very similar to the one from Schubert's. Even though the Cakery has changed hands. They still offer memorably delicious cakes. I couldn't resist a slice of strawberry cream cake for lunch which was moist and light and ohh sooo good. Picked up a princess cake to enjoy with family and friends tonight. The verdict, while similar, I still prefer the Schubert's princess cake for its lightness and less sweet finish. Schubert's princess cake also has a more predominant almond flavor. Both memorably delicious. In fact, the consensus over the dinner table amongst friends and family was deeeelicious! And my cousin, who's the most important critique says I can bring the princess cake from either place over anytime! Would definitely return for either cake or to try the double chocolate cake which is Rosa's recommendation or coffee crunch cake that Mike C. recommended for next time.
