The shop has a small seating area upon walking in with mainly a counter and the cookies on display for you to pick what you would like to refer. Order via worker standing behind the counter. Cookies: The 66% chocolate chip had big chunks of chocolate which the bitterness helped balance the cookie. The cookies n cream was a little sweet for me but had again pieces of Oreos inside with a nice texture. The chocolate peanut butter again had both chocolate and creamy peanut butter which didn't leave the mouth dry. The honey comb was a unique and different taste with the honeycomb providing a less common sweetness but can be overpowering. The toffee cookie had bits of toffee which again provided texture without being overly sweet. The oatmeal chocolate walnut cookie was my second favorite after the 66% dark cocoa due to the oatmeal again balancing the sweetness of the chocolate with the saltiness of the walnuts. 11am I was in downtown and had to pop into Antoine's! Spoiled myself with a white chocolate macadamia (I'm a huge white chip macadamia fan from subway) + a 66% dark! Never fails to deliver! I opted on a day old bag of 3 cookies for $6.50 for my room mates who put me onto Antoine's in the first place. Always have milk on stock and I had a fun interaction with Lauren and Kassidy at the register for a fantastic start to my Friday morning. I appreciate that there is no prompt for tip, but this is one of those strange situations where I had a genuine human connection and moment with some cool people and to have been able to show gratitude would've been nice, but I can presume that Antoine takes care of their employees knowing that they do not prompt for tip, which is something I hope all businesses can all follow suit. They serve soft, buttery, and sweet cookies with a fair variety of standard flavors, and have other locations in the bay. They are very soft and flexible, so if you like hard cookies, you won't find them here. I do like the crunch and salt from the honeycomb flavor, and the outer layer of the cookie has a little bite to them. The interior is small and with room to only stand. There is a microwave on the counter if you want to warm your cookie right there. Whenever I've gone here, the staff usually gives me a stink eye and doesn't like answering questions. You can really tell the cookies are baked fresh daily, and this location even has a visible baking area, which is fun to see. They do run out of flavors, so getting there earlier is a good idea. The shop doesn't have much seating, but it didn't take away from the experience at all. It smells amazing inside, and honestly, when the place smells like fresh chocolate chip cookies, who wants to sit anyway. I especially loved their honeycomb, which is one of their best sellers, as well as the cookies and cream. I'd personally pass on their regular chocolate chip though.
