Finally open on 2nd Street! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great, lean interior with decent seating space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Coffee is delicious and baristas were friendly and helpful.

Decent if you need it in a pinch, service is great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Vibe is cute and spacious for work or studying.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Just feel like there are better coffee shops. Blueberry brown sugar latte was good. Nothing to write home about. Pistachio latte - skip. Giant chocolate chip cookie was the star, it was sooooo good. Parking is street on retro row. Overall I'm on the fence... I'll try a few more coffees

This was my first time trying coffee drunk and I personally wasn't impressed. I got my usual order an iced latte with cinnamon and honey. The straws given are really tiny and I felt my latte was watered down relatively quick. The service was decent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is not my preference. It's mostly outdoor and is hard to study or work imo.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I personally wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

I've been wanting to visit and finally came in before a Sunday morning walk. Staff were friendly and answered my questions about the pastries before a final decision was made. I ordered an iced the On My Way latte with a passion fruit pastry. Ugh - I was on my way to heaven! The flavors were pronounced and neither were too sweet and I ended up with flakes everywhere (as one does with a deliciously well-made pastry). The coffee and pistachio flavors melded well and had me properly caffeinated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Desire the busyness, customers entered and left quickly with their to-go orders.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The merch was cute and the vibe definitely invited me to stay longer than anticipated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Ordered: Large Iced Baby LA (~$7): house-made vanilla syrup, honey, mint, espresso & milk, topped with espresso dust Aya's take: First stop in Long Beach and decided to grab coffee at a local spot with 3 locations in the area. The Iced Baby LA was sweet from the vanilla syrup, creamy from the milk, and bold from the espresso and espresso dust on top - exactly what I was looking for to start my day. The honey & mint were a nice touch too. Good try!

Wow what a gem! First off their seasonal drinks are so so good! I got the seasonal drink that was made with matcha and it was sooooo good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is super cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is everywhere but there aren't tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was super quick. Would be back!

I really wanted to like this place and perhaps it was an off day.. but between the extremely rude person at the front taking my order, the lack of customization on the lattes, and the actual taste - I just feel there's much better spots to visit for coffee in Long Beach. Let's start with service: the woman at the front was very dry, quiet, and uninterested. We tried asking her if we could add cold foam or sweet cream to our drinks to make them sweeter, and she said it was only available on seasonal drinks. As an avid matcha latte consumer, this made zero sense to me. While I don't blame her bc she likely had nothing to do with that decision, she wasn't kind in relaying that information or trying to help me find something on the menu I may like. Her demeanor remained the same when my friend ordered his drink, and we both felt a very negative energy coming from this woman, simply put it didn't seem like she wanted to be there taking our order. This was around 1pm last Saturday (the 21st of March), so they had a decent amount of customers, but it wasn't some crazy morning rush. Forward to the drink : we grabbed our drinks which came out promptly. I tasted my matcha and just as I suspected due to the lack of sweetness, it just tasted like grassy chalk. I assumed that my friends latte would be better, as matcha can tend to have an earthy taste to it to begin with. Then I tried his... chalky and sour. Due to the lack of customization and the barista's attitude, we just took a couple sips and tossed our drinks. It was a super negative experience for a place I really really wanted to like. I think allowing people to use sweetener and cold foam on more than just seasonal lattes would be a great first start, and perhaps training the staff on appropriate customer interaction would also help. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the branding on this spot, but it seems like the people who work there don't want to be there and it really put a damper on the experience[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and [[HIGHLIGHT]]for a place so cute, the drinks and vibes should be top notch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Pier Pressure: apple syrup, caramel drizzle, milk, & matcha

I love coming to CoffeeDrunk. The vibes are really chill with friendly and attentive staff. It gets really packed and can be a bit loud, so I'd recommend it more for meetups than working. On this visit I tried the fall menu item, Pier Pressure. It has apple syrup, caramel drizzle, milk, & matcha. All of these ingredients blend perfectly together, creating Fall right in your cup. It's the perfect drink to sip and bring in the Halloween season with.

I ordered the instigator, iced latte, half sweet . Smooth, great taste. Not too strong. The service was friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice clean, simple esthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd come again, when in the area.

    Slow burn
    Rachel B.

Finished a run at the beach and wanted a quick coffee for my drive home, stumbled upon CoffeeDrunk. I got the drink called Slow Burn, it was DELICIOUS! Major down side is that it took 20 minutes to get my drink.... It looked busy inside but not 20 minutes busy. I would return again if I can order ahead and not wait as long bc the coffee was still super good.

Coffee Drunk is a bright and spacious coffee shop on 4th Street. It offers a unique variety of coffee, tea, and tonic options. We opted for the On My Way latte (house-made salted pistachio syrup, espresso, milk), one of their "Claim to Fame" drinks. We found it to be pleasant and not too sweet. We also ordered the Weekend in Long Beach off the seasonal menu (muddled orange, house-made yuzu syrup, maple syrup, fever-tree tonic - only available iced). We subbed the espresso float for a matcha float for $1 and found the drink to be light, refreshing, and energizing - perfect for a hot summer day. We saw people order and leave, and we also saw people order and stay to read a book or work on their laptops (there are a few outlets throughout the shop). The environment is laid back and perfect for a quick stop or a longer stay. Street parking is available in front of the shop for a fee, as well as in the surrounding neighborhoods.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute, adorable little coffee shop on the corner--very welcoming and cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was friendly and made the whole experience even better. I ordered an iced matcha latte with a shot of espresso, and it was just okay--not really impressive. My daughter got a chai, and she felt the same way about hers. It might just be my taste buds today, so I'm definitely open to giving this place another try. Next time, I'd love to try one of their regular coffee drinks and see how that compares!

It's a wonderful upgrade that gives it a warm, comfortable coffee shop environment where you can actually sit down, linger, and enjoy your treats. They recently expanded to the space next door to expand service and hours! For a short while, Colossus had chairs and tables outside. I went at least weekly to enjoy a casual breakfast. The tables and chairs went away as LB City doesn't allow without a public bathroom! Now Colossus has a sit down restaurant, full table service along with two very nice restrooms! They also have plans to bring back rhe casual sidewalk seating! We went for breakfast. Serving some of their regular (and beloved items) and also some new ones, like a French Style Omelet and Stuffed Grench Toast! You can still order any kind of coffee or tea drink! Many of us have our regular favorite drinks! The restaurant is open from 8am-9pm. They serve breakfast/lunch then after 4pm dinner including their beloved pizza! That's my only complaint here, I want pizza for lunch, or even breakfast, hint, hint, hint! Service was excellent! Sydney was our server and he was very friendly and helpful. Although the menu is limited, you want it all, hard to decide and he really helped! Sydney surprised my friend with her order and she was thrilled. Great pick too! For drinks we ordered our usual and as always made just how we like them. I ordered a Matcha Latte, my latest usual. Nice taste and texture and one of the best around! My friend ordered her usual, Lavendar Honey Latte, and enjoyed it. It was nice having our favorite drinks in coffee cups vs to go paper! For food, I ordered my usual the Breafast Croissant with Bacon. IYKYK their croissants are amazing, then add the eggs, cheese, and bacon, it's just the bomb. Although it's my usual, again, getting it served on an actual plate and being able to sit down and enjoy it piping hot, just special! My friend had the French Style Omelet and definitely enjoyed it. Next visit I plan to try their Stuffed Brioche French Toast! Of course next visit will have to be dinner so I can have some pizza!

The café has outside and inside seating. I prefer to sit outside since there were a lot of students working on their laptops and I didn't want to cause any distraction since we were there to mingle and chat. Being outside was nice, but you also still have other people seated outside, or in passing. The barista/cashier was friendly, especially when I let him know that it was my first time. He asked me what my likes were and said he can make that for me. I went with a hot honey cinnamon vanilla latte and it was good. It may have needed more to it because it was not flavorful and sweet enough. I couldn't taste the honey or cinnamon. It tastes more like a vanilla latte. But I think this is an easy fix next time I order. They also have a restroom for customers which I visited, and it was clean. There is plenty of parking and this is definitely a college crowd, but welcome to everyone.

I ordered one of their seasonal beverages, a tiramisu latte. This latte was pretty much a dessert, and exactly what I needed to fix my morning blues. The only thing that could have elevated this experience would be a side of lady fingers for dipping purposes. The breakfast burrito came packed with crispy potatoes, plus, eggs, bell peppers, chipotle aioli, and cheddar. To be honest, I found this burrito to be lacking. It was about 90% potato and I'm pretty sure the aioli listed on the menu description was non-existent. While the food didn't blow me away, this place truly stands out due to its extra large interior seating area. It feels nearly impossible to find a coffee shop with enough tables in this newly WFH society. Good Time has got us covered, with plenty of seats and outlets for everyone.
