Coffee Studio has been around for a while but with Dutch Bros front and center off Milwaukee, I'm sure people go to Dutch for it's convenience and it's popularity. I'm guilty of that but today I decided to drive the extra 100 yards and hit up Coffee Studio instead. My goal lately is to support more local businesses in our area. It was late afternoon when I stopped in and it was busy! There was only one barista working and she was hustling! There were two cars in the drive thru. 2 gals a head of me and and another guest waiting for his beverage. She was killing it! Quite impressive how she handled all the pressure of customers waiting for their drinks. She got everyone smashed out and asked what I would like to drink. I gave her my usual order, a small iced americano with sugar free white chocolate with room for cream. She was still finishing an order from the drive thru but I told her to take her time. I wasn't in a rush. I hung out and looked at all the merch and goodies while my drink was being made. The shop is small and cute. There's big windows which give the small space so much pretty lighting. Love the fresh plants and the simple decor here. I adore that they reuse the syrup bottles as vases for plants, it adds a fun touch to the space. The shop is very welcoming. I also appreciate the outdoor seating. There are strung up lights outside which would be pretty at night. They close at 4 so enjoying the lights would be hard. But I can imagine a brisk fall day, late afternoon when it gets dark early chillin outside with a big mug in hand. Talk about a great setting. I didn't grab the sweet barista's name. She asked me if I wanted to add my own cream or if she can do it for me. I told her to go for it. I should have done it myself cause I could have used a hair more cream. It was on the bitter side but I added a little more half and half when I got home and it was perfect! You can really taste the espresso, it wasn't watered down which was nice! All balanced in espresso, cream and sweetness. This little joint pushes out some bold drinks. And it was nice to see how many people were at this place the same time I was. The barista killed it and made me a great drink. It was great stopping in for my afternoon caffeinated beverage. I look forward to coming back. Especially in the fall when I can sit outside under the lights sipping on my hot coffee.

This place is so cute and staff is very friendly. They have a small outdoor seating area that is awesome and the caramel breve was delicious!!! I will definitely be back!

We were driving by, saw the cute little building and sign and had to turn around to check it out. Really nice and chill vibes inside. I like the green and white walls, plants, wooden tables and accents. A good flow of people, but not packed or noisy. The other patrons seemed like regulars, and were all friendly. The barista was the only one working, so it took some time to get drinks and get seated, but I'm not complaining. Everyone was patient, she was friendly and helpful. (And we came not long before closing, I'm not sure if they have more staff during bushier hours) Yummy coffee, and a yummy raspberry white chocolate pastry. My partner works nearby and plans to stop by again before work sometime. Will be back!

#6 for 2023 Very convenient from the Hyatt being across the street. It's a small quaint place that's busy almost any tine of the day. Great place to study or get sime wok done. Noise level is not loud at all. Popular with the locals it's good there is a drive thru for tbat quick grab and go. Attendent was genuine and super nice. She greeted us when we came in and said she wpuld be right with us after taking orders from others before us. That gave us time to review the selections. It's the standard menu with seasonal offeringa with delicious pastries. I went qith the white chocolate mocha. Needed the pick up to carry me through thecrest of my work schedule. That hit the spot. As we were leaving we were thanked for visiting. Ompressive because she was taking care of orders the whole rime we were there. I'll be back in the morning.

Does what coffee shops are expected to do. Quick service at the right price. Little to no parking and the drive thru can only hold so many, so I think they may get passed up often. The espresso is pretty bitter in case you aren't looking for that! Black Americano in picture. It was okay.

We were so pleasantly surprised to stumble this coffee shop! The baristas are sweet, helpful, and extremely efficient! They bustled about so quickly we were practically mesmerized that only two of them could pump out delicious drinks so fast! We ordered an Americano with heavy cream, a Caramel Latte, a lemon square, a slice of banana bread, & a lemon blueberry scone. The drinks are superb- made perfectly to order! The banana bread & scone are both better than the lemon square (which we thought lacked flavor). We enjoyed sitting outdoors on the lovely patio! We will be back again!

This place must be special, we share the same blood type ;)

This is a cozy little spot near the Hyatt on Milwaukee. It is no more that 200 yard from the front door of the hotel. The operators of the coffee house really keep everything neat, clean and organized. The one thing that stood out to me was the choices of holiday drinks. They really took a creative approach which is nice. I ended up deciding to have the eggnog latte and it was delicious. It was flavorful and not overly sweet. To sum everything up, this place provides everything you could expect from a coffee shop and is a great spot to revisit in the future.

It lured me in like a siren calling me into the ocean. So I was inclined to instead give them five stars, even though I did not leave quickly like I had wanted, and I ended up talking to a couple of customers, though I wanted to be left alone; the conversation was so dang engaging! Two enterprising young women are owners of this gem of a popular West Bench neighborhood gathering…read morespot that they created in what was an old dump of a 1950's era strip mall space and funded in part with crowd sourcing. Being curious since they opened this in Fall'ish 2024 and finding myself in the neighborhood, this was a destination stop for my husband and me when we went in about 11:30 on a weekday for coffee and a nosh. Pride of ownership shines in the clean and funky feeling interior and it is clearly popular because it was full, almost every seat, of people that seemed from the neighborhood, including a number of parents with young children. They advertise this as coffee and market, but I honestly didn't notice the market part, in that things for sale didn't jump out at me. That may have been because I was just trying to navigate to a seat in and out in the crowded space. THE MO: Coffee and the limited menu for food is ordered at the counter, carry to your seat and bus your own when finished. Although we were the only people at the counter and there were two people in the kitchen, it took quite some time for someone to come to take the order, although once someone finally saw us, they were pleasant, if not welcoming, in taking the coffee order and then again when my hubby went back to order pastries to go with it. MENU: Coffee, other beverages and a very small option of eats is listed behind the counter and on a paper menu there. Options included soup of the day and Gaston's bakery pastries. There were some breakfast sandwiches by local provider Poppyseed Bakery in the fridge section, we weren't told about them but seeing them when passing by the fridge on a trip to the loo, asked if they could be heated and were told they could be. We chose a couple of pastries ($5.50 each) and were reminded why we seldom buy Gaston's products for being too buttery and one note. The cortado ($4) were good. I noticed a woman at the table across from us who was sipping a beverage and eating what looked like a sandwich she had carried in. I don't know if that is part of allowable stuff or not. The pottery used for all of their coffee service, ours and the mugs at other tables, is great. AMBIANCE: They did an admirable job here of making this light and bright and just funky enough with pride of ownership and loving care in maintenance sparkling through. Seating includes a few level in, not step up, booths along one wall, a sofa and chairs near the front and many standard height tables and chairs (maybe too many when all full as getting to seat is tough) and a play area for kids in the corner. It had far less comfortable 'breathing room' space than I anticipated from photos. But I didn't take interior photos to post because I think it is rude to do that when lots of people are going to be in them who maybe don't want to be. ;-) LOO: There are two and both are uni and sparkling clean with great murals on the wall and good plumbing fixtures. My husband even pointed out the "cool" sink. Both are ADA compliant so kudos to them for that. (Yes, it is law and code but you'd be astounded by how many ignore both.) ACCESSIBILITY: One ADA parking spot right outside the door. (There are too few spots for the parking lot but that is not the coffee shop owners' failure. That is the lot owner's issue.) Level in the door. All on one floor. The tables would probably work for a wheelchair user to roll under. But it would be near impossible, based on my experience yesterday (I have had multiple sclerosis since age 20 and sometimes use a wheelchair) for a wheelchair user to get between tables and chairs for a clear path of travel to get to seating or the loo.

This joint is a lot smaller than the two I have previously been to. It's about half the size of the other two so to me it's more for drive thru business than it is to chill and hang out. Much like the other location off Ustick, there was a colorful wall that added such a fun vibe to the place. There were a couple tables to hang out at. I do appreciate how big the counter is! It's inviting and allows a nice space for you to order your drink. As much as I wanted to grab another delicious pumpkin spice chai, I decided to go with my normal. I snagged a small iced americano with sugar free white chocolate and cream. My daughter grabbed a small iced lime and kiwi fuel energy drink. The sweet gal behind the counter got our orders squared away and got to working on them. We hung out at one of the small tables while our drinks were getting made. It did take a minute cause there were a couple drive thru orders. But our drinks were made in no time and enjoyed them for a bit at the table. My daughter's drink was ready first and of course I had to try it. It was a fun green color. The Kiwi and lime added a clean fruity taste the the fizzy energy drink. Energy drinks aren't my thing but it was tasty. My americano came out shortly after hers. It was the perfect shade of coffee. You can tell there was enough cream to espresso. It wasn't watered down and it had a nice amount of ice. I did add a packet of sweetner cause I just needed it to be a tad sweeter. It was perfect! It was much needed after running around all afternoon. I have been to three different Black Rocks in the last two weeks and they have all been great! This little joint is right next to my husband's work so it will be an easy place to hit up right before I drop off his lunch. I appreciate the convenience of this joint being right off Fairview. They pushed out such a great cup of coffee for my today. I look forward to coming again soon!

A great place to have an intimate coffee date or work. I was instantly greeted by a gentleman behind the counter. He grabbed my order and got my drink started. I ordered my usual drink today. A small iced americano with cream. They didn't have any sugar free syrup options which is a bummer. He did ask if I want monk fruit or stevia sweetner, I passed on both. He did offer raw honey so I took up on that offer! He finished my drink and I noticed there wasn't any cream. It was filled to the top so it was pretty watered down. He did pour some of the coffee out and added the cream. The raw honey was nice but it still wasn't sweet enough for me so I added a packet of blue sweetner. It's a drinkable cup of coffee but it does lack flavor cause it was so watered down. I had really high hopes for this joint. After reading the reviews, I had high expectations.
