My husband and I ordered mimosas while waiting to be seated, and I have to say--it was one of the BEST mimosas I've ever had! Service: Outstanding from start to finish! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, but those pancakes!!! They practically melted in my mouth. Absolutely amazing! Between the mountain views, fantastic service, delicious food, and that mimosa, this was such a great brunch experience. Definitely worth the wait, and we would absolutely return!

Location could be better, it's in the downtown area of Morgan Hill, and parking is bad. I had to walk a few blocks just to visit, which was okay being that the weather was nice. When my husband and I got there the guy with the hair bun greeted us and told us to sit where we wanted, we were also given NO menus when we came in. We sat and waited in the corner, saw others that came in after us be greeted, given coffee/drinks, etc. My husband and I thought it was cause we were in the corner, so we waited 10-15 more minutes to see if anyone would notice us..... NOPE, so we got up and my husband wanted to leave and go somewhere else. I told him, let's sit at another table, and we did. We were then noticed, sadly! My husband wasn't happy that to be noticed we had to move, but I asked him to give this place another chance. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, it was really good, the waitress was really nice, everything else was awesome aside the rough start we had. I guess it's okay if you're in the area, already parked and need something quick to eat. I don't think I'd come here again, would definitely seek something else if I can.

Bloody Marys Take the Crown at This Breakfast Club…read more My husband and I were in the neighborhood and decided to stop at The Breakfast Club at Midtown for breakfast. We've visited before, and the vibrant, spacious interior and charming farmhouse decor always make it a welcoming spot. Arriving around 9:30 a.m., we found it pleasantly uncrowded and were seated quickly at the bar. Victor took great care of us--friendly, accommodating, and happy to chat. He mentioned that they have nearly 14 locations in California, with two more coming to Las Vegas. Quite the growing breakfast club! Naturally, our "breakfast of champions" began with their famous Bloody Marys. Perfectly seasoned and loaded with bacon, olives, onions, pickles, lemon, and lime, they were a highlight of the visit. We ordered the breakfast special: carne asada and eggs cooked our way over chilaquiles, with rice and beans on the side. The portions were generous, as always, so expect to take home leftovers. While we enjoyed the dish overall, the meat was a little dry for our taste. That left me wishing I'd ordered my trusty favorite: over-medium eggs, ham, crispy hash browns, and sourdough toast. I'm a breakfast girl through and through--I could happily eat it morning, noon, or night! This visit didn't completely satisfy my breakfast craving, but the atmosphere, Victor's service, and those delicious Bloody Marys made it a good experience. If you haven't been, it's worth a visit. Next time, I'm sticking with my breakfast classics!

We will absolutely be ordering again. Such a great addition to Morgan Hill!

Then there was the tuna, which was very fishy and luke warm. I do not recommend. We were also surprised that at a restaurant of this caliber, they do not provide bread. Instead they charge a dollar per roll, which were nothing special in terms of flavor or functionality. I cannot say Ladera would be in my top choices, if I found myself out on a date night in Morgan Hill.

We were greeted by a very friendly waitress. She said we could sit wherever we wanted, asked if we've been in before, and told us about the specials. The interior is cozy, it kind of reminded me of dive bar vibes. They have a lot of drinks on tap and some frozen slushies. I opted for organic iced tea since I don't drink. When I went to the bathroom, I noticed one of the slushies was non-alcoholic so I might try that next time. We ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with Chili Cheese Fries and the Supreme wood-fired pizza. The burger was fantastic! The BBQ sauce was delicious, the bacon and onion rings were crispy, and the fries were great. I enjoyed the chili, but I didn't think the cheese sauce or sour cream really stood out. I thought the crust on the pizza was perfect, I really enjoyed the wood-fired vibe and fresh toppings. This would probably be my favorite pizza if they used better mozzarella. For now, Bizza is holding the top spot for me since they use Butcher's Son mozzarella, and in my opinion, it's the best vegan mozzarella sub I've ever had from pizza spots so far. Even though I have notes, I still think the overall meal was a home run and the staff were super friendly so they get 5-stars in my book.

Upon arrival, I immediately start eating. The white Oaxacan cheese tasted funny but I kept eating anyway. Then after about four bites, l looked down and noticed a blue mold on one of the cheese particles. I stopped eating and waited for the waitress to come by. She was busy which was okay so I waited a bit until I called her over. I told her there was mold on my cheese, her response was and I quote, "oh okay, looks like bleu cheese. They probably let used Bleu cheese. I'll send this back and tell the manager to come by". No apology, no I'm sorry can I get you anything else? Nothing of that nature. Let me be perfectly clear here, it's chilequiles. There's no way a cook confused the two. I wasn't falling for that nonsense. How would only one piece have the blue hue to it too? And the worst part is I LOVE bleu cheese. Like absolutely love it, so to lie to my face and tell me that's what it was. Ridiculous. Manager never came, she ended up bringing the check and took off plate as a courtesy she said, well yea I didn't eat it so why wouldn't you. And the proceeded to tell me they used the wrong cheese so that's why. Guess I made it all up then huh? Wow. Not the best angle Betto's. Been living in MH more than 10 years, now I won't be eating here nor recommending it to my fam/friends.
