After a walk on the pier and past all the shops, we were ready for lunch. Coast pizza was just opening up,and they have a great special- 2 slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza and a refillable fountain drink for $10. The owner is super friendly. They were baking the pizza, so we got it right out of the oven - hot and crispy. I had cheese and my son had pepperoni . Good sized portions. Friends mentioned their meatball subs so naturally we needed to try them and they exceeded our expectations. Absolutely amazing. The salads are fresh as is everything on the menu. Love that the quality is there and that there is something for everyone in the family. I don't eat pizza often but this place is an easy yes for all of us because of the diversity and freshness of their menu. They are always friendly and welcoming. The best pizza ever!!! The cheese is very stretchy and the flavor of the pizza is spectacular. This is my favorite pizza place and I've got to stop by every time I'm near seal beach. It does take a few minutes because they make the pizza from scratch but there's stores right next door so time goes by fast. I got create your own large pizza I believe and got half pepperoni and half pepperoni with Italian sausage. I definitely recommend. read more

Late review... but better late than never. Tuesday is for.... Pizza!! Coast pizza has a great deal- buy one slice, get one FREE!! Yes, free! I thought "There's no way.", so I tried it. I gotta say, I've been missing out. Fluffy, delicious crust with some great quality toppings. Got a mushroom, pepperoni, sausage slice and a traditional Hawaiian. So I finally got to try this place out since they got new owners and dumped the kabobs. This area needs a decent pizza and NY Pizza two doors down ain't it. While this is a small sample I would say this place is it!!! Order two slices of Pep with a drink for $9 and the pizza was excellent! I've tried well over 100 different lies on my day and this place is great. Granted my sample size is one visit but the basic goodness is there. Not to mention the size of the slice is legit. Not some chicken sh&t slice that NY Pizza sells you 2 doors down. They also have a two for one slice twofer Tuesday's. I will be going over to seal beach to walk my daughters dog on Tuesday's. Tried a slice of pepperoni pizza and was pleasantly surprised! It turns out everything is homemade and the crust and sauce were absolutely delicious. Service was very friendly, and while the location is pretty small (only a few tables inside for seating), it's a perfect spot to grab a slice or a full pizza to take to the beach. Everything on the menu looked great (they also have sandwiches and salads) and I look forward to coming back and trying more items. read more

TLDR: Go to Slice of NY a few doors down. We decided to come here for the two slice special which was priced pretty well. After ordering, the cashier gave us the pizza straight off the shelf. I thought that was a bit strange but maybe the slices are under a heat lamp? After sitting down, we realized the pizza was cold. What kind of pizza by the slice place serves their pizza cold? After asking them to re-heat the pizza (why do I have to ask this?), the pizza ended up being pretty mediocre. There is something off with the texture of the crust. The dough was bland. I would not recommend wasting your time here, you are better off going to "Slice of NY" that is like two storefronts down the street. I am convinced the other reviews are from friends and family and are misleading. read more

Ordered the large 18'' pepperoni jalapeño. As you can see in the picture it is most likely the best pizza money can buy. Crust is perfect ratio to the toppings - crisp with a nice chew to it, not too bready. Solid cheese coverage. Placement of toppings was even (even somewhat symmetrical) which was aesthetically quite impressive. We ordered it well-done and it came out perfect. The slices are more expensive than the nearby slice of New York but this places slices are also bigger. Do yourself a favor and try the garlic knots. They're incredible. I heard so much about them and when I finally tried them, they did not disappoint! This is a new establishment, it used to be Z pizza on Main Street but their food is so delicious. They're so polite and friendly and accommodating. There's a terrific pizza that has provolone - I think it's their home recipe and not even on the menu. We've ordered it three times already and it's been incredible every time. Both myself and my daughter love garlic, but this was so over powering we could not eat it, maybe heavy handed on the sauce, also was very greasy. A traditional margherita should be a light pizza, tasting of fresh buffalo mozz, tomatoes, basil and crust, very simple. Not sure what this is, but maybe you need a trip to Italy or taste a pizza at Michael's in Long Beach. Gave two stars do to being a new a restaurant, should have been one, pizza went in the trash. Regretfully, the pizza tasted like it was from a school cafeteria due to lack of flavor and a sub-par crust.
