    Korean fried chicken Restaurant

Food is very tasty and good quality. The service was friendly and genuine. The atmosphere was trendy and cozy. Me and my family had a wonderful evening in this littleRestaurant. I think it's a family run business, they made us feel very welcome and appreciated us being there.

New favourite restaurant! Delicious chicken + great vibe + amazing service! Four of us walked in as they were about to close. I jokingly said, "How can you tease us by having your doors open like this?!" They said, "Ok ok you can order 1 regular sized order to-go". Haha. Did not expect that! We ordered Snow Onion Chicken, and it was the BEST Korean style chicken we've had! There were around 12 pieces, which totally hit the spot as a late night snack for the 4 of us. For dinner I'd say I can eat one order by myself with maaaybe some leftover to snack on later. The server was so nice and patient. And (I think it was) the owner was super nice too. We ate at the outdoor seating area right outside of the restaurant, and they kept the light on for us. (Actually they turned off all the lights at first, but we all made loud complaining noises, so they turned the lights back on, and came out to ask, "What else do you guys want?!" and came back to give us some free beverages...ahahhaha great vibes. There's ~20 of us playing volleyball in Kits often...I think we're going to come visit CM Chicken a lot!

How can you resist the temptation of fried chicken+ginger beer+twilight combo at the beach? The S portion is sufficient for two and the Korean style of radish is purely perfect as relish. Great snack/dinner when visiting Kits beach.

Chicken was delicious. Had the couple platter and perfect size for 2 people. Small interior but super cozy. Definitely recommend.

The unfortunate downside for getting a Michelin Bib Gourmand. Butter Beef - beefy, garlicky, herby, tangy, sweet, it's got a little bit of everything. Very tender Trieu Chau Fried Rice - this dish is fantastic. One of the better fried rice dishes I have had. It has the wok hay and I would have been perfectly happy just to eat this as a meal Phnom Penh Chicken Wings - the first bite I had, I was not impressed. I dipped it in the lemon juice with pepper and it had some crisp, but was really lacking in flavor. Then we found a small pile of fried garlic near the bottom of the plate. That's where all the salt and flavor was. We put that onto the wings and they were quite good. Wish that was just set to the side at the beginning. Green Papaya Salad - this thing is packed with flavor. I liked it quite a bit, but I thought the beef jerky was an oddball ingredient Filet Beef Luc Lac - thinly sliced beef that is tender and covered in a silky sauce. It was quite salty so it went well with our rice. No major complaints about any of the food and I thought they had some pretty unique takes on dishes. My family scores: Brendan - 4.0 Charlotte - 4.0 Shanying - 4.0 Winston - 4.5

For a small party we only could really order the trifecta: chicken wings, butter beef and bo luc lac. Loved the chicken wings and butter beef. They're as good as everyone says they are and I can understand why they're popular dishes to order. The Bo luc lac was just ok for me. I've had better. Worth trying at least once. Don't think I'd wait 1-2 hours to eat here though.

This is such a nondescript shop. I have walked past it, parked right outside it when going to other…read moreshops and never even noticed this place. I only learnt of this place when googling for roast meat and this popped up. The store is divided into two sections. One for the cooked roast meat where the menu is at the back of wall. Written in both Chinese and English, they are quite hard to read though. Bring your glasses or better yet, take a picture and zoom in on the photo like what I did. The other part is where you can buy fresh uncooked meat. The other side is lined with refrigerated items. Besides buying the roast meat, you can also have it with rice with your choice of meat. I bought a pound (min order) of roast pork and half a Hong Kong style roast duck (pipa duck I believe). I will say communication can be quite tough as the staff seemed more comfortable speaking in Cantonese which I do not speak. So it has to be a basic ordering in English without any questions or requests. The roast pork has super crispy skin which is really good but it also has such a thick layer of fats underneath that I had to remove it. You could probably save those fatty bits and fry them later to make lardon and add to your home cooked noodles or something. I like the pipa duck. Tender and tasty meat. Tip/Life hack: I googled and found a way to reheat the leftovers so they do not dry out -- cover the meat with foil and heat in oven at 400c for 20-30 mins. For the roast pork, I only covered the meat part and let the skin peeked out so the skin got even crispier.
