I'm updating my review from 1 star to 3 stars because despite the entire headache with everything, the customer service end was above par! They were able to work with me and fix some bad experiences I had with the company. I think my review would have been higher if I didn't receive my items returned damaged... but they were damaged. Items I can't replace. A lot of the comments are spot on. So just be wise. I don't think it's a good investment and I would recommend you go with a moving company and your own storage. I will never again use clutter unless there are some drastic and major changes. People receiving stuff back damaged is one! I don't think it's worth the risk. read more

Awesome sauce! We've been using Clutter for a few years as we remodel properties - great way to get a lot of stuff into storage hassle free. Pack it up and label the box, the clutter guys come out and photo it and take it away. Go online when you want it back and you can call it back by individual box. Today we had Robert and Semaji bringing stuff back (great guys), but everyone we've worked with from Clutter has been amazing. The greatest is being able to retrieve exactly what you want when you want it. Would be great for holiday decorations. They lost a bin full of $400 worth of costumes and they never once contacted me to follow up. They just closed the claim. I was blown away of the service they provide when we first used Clutter in July 2019. The workers that came to haul our belongings away were very professional, prepared, and careful. I expected the same when we got our items back on 10/30/19. The workers that brought our belongings back were quiet, not very friendly. But that's beside the point. First off, when I first signed up for Clutter, I was told that I'd receive a $100 amazon gift card. Never got that! Second off, here are the issues I had upon return/delivery of my belongings: -screws on my tv was missing so now I cannot stand my TV up and have to get it mounted. -screws missing for the legs of my dining room table so I can't use that anymore. -screws are missing in my cali king bed frame and my full size bed frame, so we have been sleeping with the mattresses in the floor. -1 wheel is missing on my desk chair, can't use it anymore! -they dented my refrigerator in the front. -they did not have tools, therefore they decided to use OUR own tools that they saw in my garage! Because of all this, it has costed me a few thousand to replace all the items I could no longer use. My advice? Awesome deal for the price and moving/storage assistance. Being 5 months pregnant, and my husband having to still work and be on calls during the move would've made the experience super stressful, but Tommy and Eduardo made it smooth and seamless. I tried to cancel before the date of charge (over a week before) and they didn't have any appts so I was charged and entire month for ONE day. Because they couldn't do another appt. I emailed to try and talk to them and they finally offered to prorate (there's your second star). Days later someone calls to try and "sell" me on still keeping things in there. LOL. They showed up on time, helped me pack the odd items I couldn't figure out storing, and wrapped everything in careful layers so it would stay safe. They made recommendations based on their experience to optimize my storage space and went the extra mile to take additional photos and make sure I was comfortable with the service. Robert and Tommy were an efficient team and I felt completely at ease, they were professional and worked quickly. I barely lifted a finger. I could not have had a better experience! The Clutter technology is amazing and I was able to see my inventory list growing as they scanned everything in real time, plus the amount of capacity I was tracking at. I actually needed less room than they quoted and I was ASTONISHED at how affordable the final cost was. HERE WE GO AGAIN. If I could give a neg 0 I would. This company is an absolute nightmare from the minute the movers walked into my house. (Please see the last review for details) They nickel and dime you, have hidden fees, lie to you about the cubic feet by putting small things in large boxes so they can charge you more, and have delivery window times of 8 hours!!!!!!!! I booked an online appt for the 10th of this month, I didn't hear from them so I called and asked why? They said they never got it. Total BS I put very specific instructions with my new number etc etc. The truth is they lost it and then magically booked me a new one, but not without blaming me first. Then they don't prorate the month. They KEEP your monthly fee even if you move out on the first and that happens to be your due date. Why wouldn't they give the money back? I've had to fight with them every step of the way to keep them from TAKING MORE MONEY FROM ME. Then they take money out of my account when I haven't even signed the paperwork yet! This company is going to have a class action lawsuit if they are not careful!. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!! AWFUL ASSOCIATES, AND MANAGERS, AND I'M SURE THE OWNERS ARE EVEN WORSE. They highjacked your stuff them make you pay erroneous ransom to get the stuff out. $259 for what? They couldn't even break down the fees for me. They said it was standard billing blah blah blah. Absolutely horrible experience. While picking up my stuffs they looked very professional. 7 people showed up and started packing furnitures. All the furnitures were blanket wrapped carefully. It Was a big 4 bedroom house so it took 3 trips (3 different days) to move out all my stuffs. I was very happy with my decision of using clutter. But all that happiness went down the drain during the return. While returning all my stuffs were crammed in one small truck remember it took them 3 trips that too in big truck. All the stuffs were double stacked. It looked like they just threw everything into the truck. Pretty much all the stuffs were dented and half of them broken. They broke my dryer, dining table, tv stand (completely damaged). Refrigerator, couches, china cabinet, bed frames were all scratched and dented. Dropping off was a nut job. They don't have any regards to your furnitures or property. They just want to drop everything off by the door and move on to next job site. They banged the walls all over my new house. They won't reassemble the furnitures that they disassembled. I had to hire someone to have it assembled. But that was the least of my worries. They lost my Tempur-Pedic king size mattress. In the beginning they said that it is misplaced somewhere in the warehouse and they will find it sooner. I was also not aware of their insurance policy that the max they can pay is 1,000. If I had knew that earlier I wouldn't have even use them. Pretty much every piece of my furniture was more expensive than that. The mattress they lost was 3,500. It is been more than 2 months and they are still not able to locate my mattress. Now they say that their investigation is done and the mattress wasn't found. I don't understand how a mattress that big of a size can be lost. Never using Clutter again and not recommended to anyone. read more

BEWARE ... Bait and switch. I signed up with Clutter during a promotion. I was repeatedly told I would be grandfathered into the promotion of free unlimited pick up's and deliveries. They are not honoring it, now if I want my belongings from my 5 bedroom house I will have to pay $65 per hour, per mover. Their offer of one free one hour pick up or delivery per month would take me months to clear out my storage! It took me at least 10 minutes of arguing with their staff and threat of my lawyers to talk with a supervisor, I was sent to their customer care center. I was able to confirm they would deliver all my belongings for free, HOWEVER they will need to split the deliveries into multiple deliveries. Let's hope they can work them into one month so I don't have to pay the $810 for a another month, they do not prorate the fee. If the last delivery is scheduled one day after my storage due date, I pay for another month! I started my storage in Riverside, CA read more
