RIPOFF: First, scheduled a small move, moving items around within residence. Got quoted a minimum of 200. Ok. They finished, charged 250. Why? Additional 50 charge for "in house" move. I wasn't told. Had to talk to manager, they went back to contract. Then, got credit card statement, charges for $200 and $250. Today, 07/29/2024 I had a wonderful experience having Eric and crew of (2) move my furniture from inside the house to the garage in preparation for the purpose to stage the house for sale. The crew was on time followed my instructions exactly for what was to be stored and what was to be moved to the curb for the recycled and junk person coming behind them for pick up. Eric is easy to connect with and did a superb job of covering and shrink wrapping our most favorite furniture pieces to protect them well when moving time came. This is how good of a job they did with my minimal furniture, everything was fitted into my 3rd car garage leaving me the one space I had left to continue parking my car inside. Best moving experience ever! When you're in your 70s, moving can be a stressful thing, but Dave and the rest of his team did a lot to reduce that stress. When Dave came out to our home in Mission Viejo his friendly, professional manner, put us at ease at once. On moving day, Drew, Jamell and Sina were all very professional, friendly and helpful. In fact, we had been quite worried about our king size bed that had a broken support (we'd actually used a small dumbbell to prop it up for years). Drew took a look at it, cut a piece of wood to replace a broken piece, and shifted the metal support to a stronger section. We were so relieved. Talk about "above and beyond"! At our new home, we gave them floor plans of how the furniture should be in each room, and they made a few suggestions that turned out better. They even organized our Christmas boxes and a few tools in our carport storage cabinets for us. To top it all off, we thought the price was great, even with a 15% tip! Please make sure you use Costa Mesa Moving Company on Oak Street in Santa - David Wilkes, Owner.
