Yummy tougurt

This place was great! I loved the trains and how since is was located near a train station and they put a mini train inside! Also there were cute dogs and A BIG STEP AT THE END! The food was very good and it made me really like yogurt parfaits! The people were very nice and overall I really liked it! The toast was also very good! After swimming hard races it made me full so I say it's good

A great, easy, simple pit stop for breakfast. Perfect as it's right by the railroad but also great for a trip to concord. Food was good and came out really quick. Food wasn't overly expensive and inside was sooo cute.

West Concord is a lovely area to dwell. This restaurant is big, clean, very convenient in terms of parking or for MBTA commuters. Lovely menu, waitress was extremely helpful, food is standard, but very good. Sad that they cannot get more business, I hope people will come out and support them in these times. Had a lovely breakfast here today

It's a cute local cafe that I highly recommend. It's cozy and small. The servers were polite and they have this cute little train track running around a platform above the tables. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the breakfast burrito and my only issue is that it was more of two tacos rather than a burrito but it was delicious anyways. I recommend getting their early on the weekends or being patient because it fills up quickly.

Cheeseburger and Fries

There are three types of people who should eat at The Club Car Cafe, families with kids who love trains, rail commuters, and retirees that want a friendly place to eat and nurse a cup of coffee. The restaurant is the former West Concord train station. There is a model train that runs high above the room and plenty of toy trains for little ones, or I guess anyone, to play with. The commuter rail stops right outside, so it's a convenient place to grab a cup of coffee and a muffin before getting on board. When you first walk in, the room seems dingy. But on closer inspection it's actually very clean, just old. The service is quite friendly. It's clear they take the time to know their regulars, and a lot of the customers are regulars. The food is a bit of a mix. On my most recent visit, I got a burger and fries. The burger was fantastic, but the fries were just awful. The BLT got rave reviews from my DC with crisp, flavorful bacon and high quality lettuce and tomato. For breakfast, I like sausage with fried eggs and toast. They have nailed that a few times for me. Seems like it should be easy, but it's amazing how many breakfast places can't pull it off. Omelets on the other hand aren't great and probably worth passing up. The Club Car Cafe isn't the type of place you're going to go on your birthday (unless you're two), but if you pick right you can get some pretty great food there.

We had a great time here everything was delicious and fresh, and the presentation is beautiful with good sized portions. Indoor and outdoor seating available, indoor is spacious and tables are large with distancing between them I felt safe dining here. Everyone is friendly and I love to read about the historic aspects and watch the cute train loop overhead. Can't wait to go back!

The southwestern taco…read moresalad has nice flavour - the chicken is nicely seasoned, the black beans give off a little sauciness to the dish. The crisp taco shell is a wonderful texture contrast to the rest of the dish. I've also ordered the Italian pizza, it has sweet Italian sausage, mozzarella, ricotta and tomato and it's cheesy, rich, and savory. The spiral pattern on the pizza was a nice touch. The Greek avgolemono soup is very lemony, doesn't have orzo or rice in this version and feels healthy and substantive when feeling under the weather without feeling heavy. The service is nice at Dino's. They are pretty efficient. The ambiance/decor is relaxed with minimal seating. Most people order for take away/take out. Ever since Dino's was acquired, if that's the right term in this situation, by Rossini's, it's gotten more consistent in the dish output. Overall, I'm a happy camper and will be glad to order from Dino's soon!

The white pizza was wrong entirely and came with olives and tomato slices on it, so that was just the wrong pizza. The cheese pizza was correct but the dough was very "wet" and it felt like I was eating just a big glob of food. I don't know exactly what it was either but the sauce seemed to have way too much pepper or something in it which left a weird after taste. We did also get one Baklava which was great, no complaints there. The pizza overall was just not good and they didn't even give us exactly what we ordered. The food is also a little overpriced in my opinion. I will most likely not recommend this place.

It is larger than the Newton spot and a bigger bar area, more extensive menu with many pasta dishes, appetizers. The pizza is my preference . I ordered the Dante pizza and very good meatballs slices on the pizza . The beer selections on draft are all good. I think the pizza crust was better on the Newton pizza... or a perceived perception? But maybe because I really enjoyed the Newton pizza which was the L'oscar which was grilled onions, sausage, mascarpone , olive oil, mushrooms, mozzarella. Maybe the Newton water vs. Sudbury water in the dough theory or maybe I am just being an over anal analyst of the dough? Either case both locations have great pizza. I would test the water at both locations and see affects on the dough and which water had better preferred pizza dough qualities ? Maybe then filter the water or Bri g a 5 gallon jug of the better water for the dough ? Maybe the dirty Boston water or New York water in Bew York bagels theory? Or maybe who cares ? On a different note; The oven baked wings I had in Newton were very good and meaty with the grilled onions ... I do have 1/2 pie to save for next day lunch as their pizza reheats well. I like both locations and Sudbury easier parking .

Surprisingly Great Pizza and Churros at a Gas Station? Believe It…read more Tucked inside a Shell gas station in Marlborough, Karine's is an unexpected gem delivering way more than you'd ever expect from its humble location. We tried two pizzas and a dessert, and every bite was a pleasant surprise. The pizza crust is a standout--chewy in the best way, with a satisfying texture and flavor that doesn't rely on toppings to carry it. It's not dry or bland like you sometimes get at quick-serve spots; this was clearly crafted with care. The sauce hits a great balance--neither overly sweet nor harshly acidic--providing a smooth, savory backdrop for the toppings. We ordered two varieties: pepperoni and mushroom. The pepperoni itself was average in quality, but it was spread generously and evenly, and the overall composition of the pizza made it work. Nothing felt skimped, and the proportion of crust to topping was spot on. The mushroom pizza was even better--made with fresh mushrooms (not canned!), giving it a noticeably better flavor and texture. We'd absolutely order that one again. And then... the churros. These weren't your standard sugar-dusted fare. They were bite-sized, crispy, and stuffed with caramel--basically little golden miracles. Addictive is an understatement. All of this came at a very affordable price, making Karine's not just a great surprise, but a seriously good value. If you're anywhere near Marlborough, don't let the gas station setting fool you--this place is punching way above its weight. We'll be back.

Red Apple Farm has always had a number of food options for those of us who need a hearty meal after…read morethe fun of apple picking. I was delighted to discover that their food options have expanded with two food trucks outside the Brew Barn -- one being TimberFire. The enticing waft of wood smoke from the brick pizza oven in the back -- mounted on a cart for transportation! -- immediately piqued my interest. But it was the chalkboard sign announcing that gluten free and vegan options were available that made me jump in line (and jump for joy). That magical combo of GF crust and dairy free cheese is still not that common, and it's even harder to find ones that taste good. Since I have a gluten sensitivity and am allergic to many forms of dairy, I was intrigued to try. The Tall Man and I each ordered one of the specials, The Fungus Among Us, which features mushrooms (of course), caramelized onions, and garlic cream sauce. He got the full gluten and dairy experience (aka refused to share in my limitations), while I got mine on GF crust and vegan cheese. In lieu of the sauce and their other alternatives (I also can't eat much tomato, and their pesto has parmesan), I suggested straight up olive oil to stick it all together. I was already holding up the line with my multiple questions, but they were very friendly and were happy to answer while busily stretching dough and checking on pizzas in the oven. 20 minutes later, we picked up our pies plus one for friends. (Unlike the Brew Barn, which will text you when your food is done, TimberFire calls out names so you have to stick close by.) Verdict? Delicious, especially straight from the oven on a chilly fall day! They used a premade GF crust, but one that had a pretty good crispy texture when fresh. Vegan cheese was all melty and creamy, so I didn't miss the sauce at all. The mushrooms were fantastic and generous. The Tall Man really liked his version of the pizza, reporting the sauce to be clutch. Our friends' Fresh to Death (aka margarita) pizza was pretty good, maybe not as wow-ing but satisfying both adults and children. I was quite happy with my pizza's flavor, but wish it were larger for the price ($18 per pie), with the GF one being smaller (10"?) than the hand stretched counterparts. They're closer in size to a medium pizza elsewhere. The Tall Man easily finished his whole pie in one go, while I ate half and saved the rest for leftovers. So expect a pricier lunch for 1-2 people per pie, or mix and match with other food options if you plan to share. Thank you for delivering a tasty GF DF experience!

The restaurant itself is still very nice - big bar at which I ate (single) and a separate dining room. Given my dissatisfaction with the former cuisine I did not have high expectations this time. But I believe this time may work out better for them. There are few decent Italian restaurants in the area, whereas there is heavy competition in good Mexican food. My daughter and her husband have gotten takeout and dined in once and warned me it might be inconsistent. We shall see. I believe they have potential. The wines are not clearly explained. Just "light" or "not so light". Cute but uninformative. Wine prices by the glass are on the high side. I tried one that was supposed to be similar to a Pinot noir. It was terribly bitter. It was then replaced with a Barbera. Much better. I wanted to graze so avoided large plates. Ordered the meatballs appetizer and the eggplant ricotta crepe. This place also serves pizza (which are basically flatbreads so don't expect decadent crust) so the meatballs were the standard pizza-style rubber balls. Sauce was flavorful but they were too chewy. The eggplant crepes- which I can only describe as "quesadilla-like" were wonderful. Very light but full of flavor (I asked to hold the truffle oil, which can overpower). I'd order those again, with a bit less pesto on top as there is plenty of basil inside. It's a small app but nice. That dish is a winner. Service was experienced and quite knowledgeable. When I commented on the meatball texture they did acknowledge- "Well yeah we know that." On a Friday night they were pretty quiet. I hope they make it. I will come back when I'm visiting the daughter again and try a couple of other dishes.

The cocktails (Pom Pom and Violette Smash) were delightfully refreshing and the red wine was, in deed, "Really Nice." We started with 2 appetizers: the mushroom bruschetta which was delicious and just crispy enough, and the wood-roasted meatballs which were awesome! (and to be honest we're typically pretty picky about our meatballs!) I had the chicken parm, which was absolute perfection (not surprising given their other sister business Nan's is known for their fried chicken)! My mom had the Bolognese with chorizo, which she thought was a little spicy for her taste, but still delightful. My dad had the Slow Cooked Pork Sugo, which I think is his new favorite Italian dish ever! Also, there was still plenty left to take home to continue enjoying for leftovers the next day! By the way, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is, of course, incredible (we even decided to host my sister's bridal shower in the upstairs space earlier this year - If you're interested, see the Private Events section of Sobre Mesa's website!) I highly recommend stopping in or making a reservation for your next dinner out or ordering takeout! We will definitely be back again soon!
