    Beet & Arugula

Our party of four came here Sunday at 6:30 for dinner. We didn't have a reservation and were seated promptly. The server came and took our order just after we sat down and everything started coming out shortly thereafter. The beet salad, wings, and whipped feta dip were good, not great, but is exactly what I would expect for a small town restaurant. The corned beef brisket burger special was very good! The cookie skillet was a nice and simple dessert, Worth trying it if you're in the area, but no need to go out of your way.

I loved the service and the atmosphere at the Tack Room, but the food left a lot to be desired. We came on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was packed, which gave a nice lively atmosphere without feeling overcrowded. I started with the Beet and Arugula salad, which was fresh, but had very little flavor beyond the two core components. For the entree, my Duck à l'Orange was significantly overcooked and almost inedible. The presentation of both dishes was great, but missed on quality. Given how busy they were for a Tuesday night, they may have been understaffed, so I would give the Tack Room another shot, just not for a while. 1. Beet and Arugula Salad - 2/5 2. Auntie's birthday lunch at the Tack Room. What we ordered: Apps - loaded tater tots and wings. The style of the tator tots was more towards coquettes and it was served with a spicy alioli. We chose two different sauces for the wings - honey hot and pineapple habenero. My cousin doesn't tolerate spicy food but she said that pineapple habenero wasn't too bad. The wings were superb Entrees - sirloin steak, bolognese, and gnocci with mushrooms. Each of us enjoyed our meals, I personally had the bolognese and it was 7.5/10. Everything was cooked well but the sauce had a bit too much celery for my taste perhaps it was the size of the chunks. Overall it was fine. Dessert - cookie skillet and bread pudding. Both were good Overall the restaurant had a good food and drinks. Service was friendly. Plenty of parking as well. I recommend and definitely order their wings!

Their food has taken a dive. Their food is sloppy, undercooked, or old. It's sad because they used to be okay.

It's a very nice setting, and I know it's an expensive town in Lincoln mass. But the prices are way too high.

The service was pretty good , the drinks were overpriced like Boston prices for a couple old fashions that got watered down quickly. I had the salmon dish with rice. The portion was perfect , but it lacked flavor so it wasn't very satisfying. The best thing I liked was the dessert the chocolate mousse.

Our server was patient as we perused the menu and caught up with friends. I started with the equinox, which is their signature bourbon and cognac cocktail ($18) - it was good! The soft, pillowy rolls with butter was a nice start...who doesn't love delicious bread?! The steak frites ($41) was one of their specials that evening, and frankly, it wasn't too special. While it was a nice sized piece of sirloin that was cooked to my requested medium rare, it was a little tough and desperately needed the herbed butter it was served with. However, the menu offers a good variety of entrees, so there is something for everyone. We shared several desserts ($12 each), and again, all were good versions of familiar fare, such as creme brulee, bread pudding, flourless chocolate cake. The restaurant really seems to fit this affluent Boston suburb...a bit conservative, a bit pricy, nothing offensive or too risky, but everything done pretty well, if not especially memorable.

I went for my graduation dinner, and they had a hand written card at the table waiting for me to wish me congratulations. To start, we had the focaccia bread to share and clam chowder, so delicious. Best clam chowder I've had, and it had whole clams in it. For mains, we had pasta bolognese, salmon, and the green apple chicken. The chicken was the juiciest I've ever had, the salmon was cooked to perfection, and the pasta was so flavorful. The presentation was great as well. Vanessa was our server, and she was so kind, helpful, and attentive. After seeing another table get the oysters, we asked the restaurant manger, Dan, what they ordered. After explaining it to us, I told him I never had oysters so he gave us the appetizer for free to try! Everyone who worked there was bubbly and warm, genuinely some of the best service I've ever experienced. Everything was a 10/10. Will definitely be coming back!

Standouts would be the littleneck clams in sweet corn broth (loved the focaccia) and the shaved brussels salad & kimchi pancake and I'd definitely get both again. It also looked like most tables were getting the five spice pork osso bucco, which I'll keep in mind for the future if it stays on the menu. I appreciated the cozy setting and attentive staff (who really knew what was in each dish) and it made our night feel special.

I knew from the moment the smoked miso maple butter hit my tongue that we were in for a treat -- and that was just the amuse bouche with a nice lil' warm biscuit bite. Cocktails were also very good and well balanced, especially the one with butter-washed mezcal, charred corn, and lime. Chef Erin and her talented crew carefully crafted sheer magic with each dish from start to finish. Each element was thoughtfully prepared, with the flavors and textures coming together beautifully in each bite. Many of their purveyors are local or they directly forage some of the ingredients themselves...and you can tell, so fresh and delicious! All the dishes were wonderful but the star for me was the duck, which was cooked perfectly with bold and sophisticated sauces. I will definitely remember this meal. Service was impeccable and the vibes were relaxed, which was very noticeable given the busy kitchen we witnessed over the course of the meal. No yelling or banging, just a smooth team of talented folks (mostly women) making gorgeous food - some plates were truly works of art. Similarly the acoustics of the small room were pretty impressive, as it never felt too loud and it was easy to talk to my partner. After living in the PNW for 10 years, I finally found a farm-to-table place in the Boston area worth going to, and Urban Hearth is it. I will definitely be back!
