Cracked windshields suck. And in Colorado you get a lot of them. Clearview was recommended to me by my dealership, so I thought, what the hell, might as well give them a ring. Called them up, setting up a reservation was really easy (and on a Saturday morning at my house!). Heath showed up on time and was very polite, even when my sorry insurance company couldn't confirm coverage for the repair. So, because of that, he had to come back a few days later, but it worked out well. Heath actually takes pride in his work and the entire process (except dealing with my insurance company) was really great. One minor downside, they do not replace windshields, so if you have something that cannot be repaired, you'll have to get someone else involved. That being said, even when I described how big my crack was (haha), they still offered to come over and see what they could do. Which was a hell of a lot cheaper than replacing the whole deal. I'll be calling Clearview again when, inevitably, another rock flies up and tries to cramp my style...... read more

Clearview sent a technician out to my friend's house. The technician was professionally dressed, very polite and knowledgable about glass, crack and repairs. In his car he had the cutest boxer dog ever. He walked me through every step of the process. I was able to view the repair from the inside of my car. The break which was appropriately called a "star" virtually disappeared before my eyes. When I called clearview to complement them on their excellent customer service I learned that the tech was also the owner. That made me feel good. I noticed little 2in crack in the windshield and then the next day (with hot and cold denver weather) it grew to 8in! Panicked, I first called one of those big name glass repair places....they couldn't repair any crack bigger than a quarter! They said I would have to replace the whole windshield for around $300 with parts and labor. Even though the crack was about 8 in at this point, it wasn't obstructing my line of vision...so why would I spend hundreds of dollars to replace the whole thing?! Clearview Window Repair was randomly recommended to me and I'm so glad it was!! They came out to my house the same day I called. The repair man, HEATH, arrived on time, even gave me a call when he was 30 min away AND he was super friendly! Heath did his magic as we chatted a little and in no time at all he was finished! I had a couple stars on my windshield to that he quickly repaired as well, to prevent further cracking. I super appreciated his knowledge, professionalism and downright kindness. The only thing, which he did inform me about before the service started, is that the crack isn't invisible...but I can barely see it and only when the light hits it at the perfect angle. I called a few local Windshield repair places to help me with a star that had already been repaired once. The edges of the repair had chipped away and it was ruining my wiper blades. I have had Heath and some other techs that work with him fix my windshields for the pass 8 years. Heath has always done the most exceptional job on the repairs that most of them I couldn't even see after they were fixed. Heath has also fixed the crack in my windshields, that he could fix, to keep them from getting larger. Clearview has saved me tons of money over the years by fixing chips promptly, when I notified them in a timely manner, before they became huge cracks. It's a shame now that I live in Pennsylvania, because I don't receive the quality of service and repair out here. It's some times these small things that you miss and regret when you move away from a great place. I wish Heath would drive all the way out here and repair my chips and cracks in my windshields. I have had some other places out here try to repair a simple chip that had now turned into a massive crack across my windshield. It's just not the same quality of repair work.
