I stopped in early one morning for a a new set. I am not from the area and took a chance. The salon is nice and they are friendly. My nails looked great when I left, but for the first time in many years of having acrylics several of my nails started lifting a few days later. Rather than get a fill in I had to get a whole new set. Very upsetting since it is an expensive set and then to have to go somewhere else to pay for them to be soaked off and another new set. This is the ONLY nail salon I go to! You cannot beat their quality work especially when they always have lower prices then competitors! I live in Scottsdale and drive half an hour just to receive their service and they are so great at accommodating my work hours. Kevin, the owner always remembers me and my family which make us feel welcomed and valued. Elle, also the owner, is so fun to work with! She's very attentive to detail and makes sure I am fully satisfied before I leave. (Which I always am, she's my favorite!) Since using S&S, my nails have gotten incredibly long and I can do my favorite coffin shape without adding fake tips. Best part is, my S&S mani and gel pedicure last 3-4 weeks. Shame on me, for the 10th time. Lol I'm a idiot to say the least. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I live so close to this place and wanted to not go far for a pedicure and full set. I also give the benefit of the doubt cause you'll always have someone who doesn't like the service as much as the next.. but I have given so many chances. I'm done. I come in as much as their regulars.. and honestly I'm not too sure how they have so many good reviews.. or regulars. They definitely talk a lot of negative things on customers assuming everyone ONLY speaks/understands English. Which when I work I complain about bad customers and situations as well, but sometimes you need to take accountability and not BLAME your customers. Or be unprofessional speaking out loud infront of every time. You're human and make mistakes just like customers do, but that's so out of line some of what is being said. Overwhelming to say the least. Anyways, my last review should've been on my last set. I scheduled a appointment for 3pm, they allowed another appointment to overrule mine cause those people added two kids last minute into their pedicure even though, the appointment was two full sets and one pedicure.. instead of telling those customers THEYD have to wait longer, cause other appointments they made me wait. I didn't start my fill until 4:30, mind you I schedule a full set cause they were lifting. The lady told me they're fine, "sHe CaN FiX tHeM sO I CaN sAvE MoNeY" NO. Cause they're rushing. I get cat eye polish, and wanted the magnet sideways for the affect.. no affect, and didn't go sideways like I asked and super chunky nails...Okay now I'm tired of asking to fix my nails cause I feel like a burden and no one is listening. Now it's 6:20 and I'm barely in the water for my pedicure.. (they close at 7pm) pedicure goes well, but it's 7:30 and I'm still there. I'm starving/tired even more now, that was the longest day of my life.. IT GETS WORSE. I pay, and felt bad they stayed so long have an extra tip. Went home after paying, woke up the next morning and every single nail is split in half. I went out of town and couldn't make it back in time, they would've blamed me 5 days later walking in.. left it be, swore to never go back.. Next time I go to a different salon. Dear god. Worst then this one. NEVER AGAIN. So today 12/17/22, I go in to get these terrible nails off from the last place to give this place one more try. I got Kevin and he did amazing! No complaints besides him blaming me for my acrylic cracking.. lol THATS NOT MY FAULT. I've never left a shop and had a cracked acrylic, that's cause your nail tech went over already lifted nails that needed to be taken off.. rude, and passive aggressive. Not a good place for business, but thank you for your beautiful work! They're pedicure people don't understand when you pay for a deluxe it's to get those stubborn callous around my heel.. I have flared dry skin on my heels, not soft and very rough still. I know you can't do too much on the heel, but I saw other nail tech Elle do mine and it was very bad and she managed to not hurt me and removed all dead skin and my feet felt brand new! Also be careful who you let know about ingrown toe nails, they dig way to deep or chop off too much nail! I'm done, I'm tired of sitting there with a appointment for two hours and then they're ready for me. I'm never late or too early, always on time and if you come here prepare to be HERE ALL DAY. read more

The photos don't do justice to how bad these are. I made an appt and the person I was supposed to have was apparently late to work. I didn't mind waiting. But once the guy, Kevin, showed up the whole thing was very rushed. Probably why they turned out so bad. I showed a picture of what I wanted and he started doing the completely wrong shape. When I said something and showed the picture again he became more rushed and rude and made me feel like it was my fault. Not only is the gel polish a disaster but the shape is uneven and the tops are bumpy. As far as covid precautions...They have hand sanitizer for when you first walk in and make sure everyone uses it. Everyone was wearing masks. When I was paying they didn't wipe down the area and seat I was sitting at before having another women sit there. read more

I work across the street and will stop over during my lunch break to get an SNS manicure. They always finish in a timely matter (without rushing) and with good quality. Because my nails are real.. I like to keep them looking that way. The nail technician did not apply the dip on too thick to keep a natural look. Overall happy with their service and would go back again. This place is trash, I'm currently sitting in a chair for pedicure being told it is 23$ extra for gel French tip, 15 for gel understandable but you're charging 8$ more for wanting a French tip? Why ? I don't know if all places do this but I get my toes every two weeks and have never been charged extra for French tip, It's less polish being used less work to do makes absolutely no sense, also was told there's no way to get my toe nails even because there was a chip but I asked them to cut more down to get rid of it and he said no he would prefer not to, on top of that I don't like the thickness he's doing of the French tip but says if he removes anymore it will not be cute, like I'm sorry? The lady who did my nails was really nice and I didn't have the heart to tell her that I hated them. They're all crooked and differently shaped. The design was also nothing like what I wanted. I ended up paying $70 and these are the worst nails I've ever had. I'm going elsewhere today to have them soaked off because they're hurting my natural nails as well. I highly recommend making an appointment before going cause they're generally booked up until the end of the day but it was so easy to make an appointment the day before! This was the second time I've been to this salon. The first time I went, the full set was awesome and lasted me for some time. I had wanted to pamper myself because my cuticles were so bad they were catching on things. I called on Monday morning and made an appt for Monday night. When I got there, I picked the colors I wanted as I had booked a mani and pedi. When she started my full set, I asked her if she could please clean up my cuticles. She said, "just put some oil on it and you won't see it". I should have asked her to stop, or said something further but I didn't- that's my fault. The gentleman that did my pedicure was much more hands on, did a great job and cleaned everything up nicely. The total bill for both with a tip was $100. It's now less than a week later (these pics were taken last night) and my cuticles look terrible, and the thumb on my left side is already lifting at the bottom. I try to be understanding in the service industry, things don't always meet peoples expectations. But the fact that I paid $100 and the whole intent was to clean up my nails and make them look nicer was a huge disappointment. They shouldn't be lifting after 5 days. read more

I came in wanted a dip manicure. Was told by the lady up front to take a seat at the station right away! The man sat down and started doing my nails, about an 1 hour and 30 minutes in,when he was doing the final dip coat, my finger accidentally touched the container which resulted in one nail being messed up. He then started moaning and sighing making it known that he was irritated & that I inconvenienced him... I felt so bad & uncomfortable... and not even just that. I showed him a picture of the shape and size I wanted and he also was sighing when I kindly asked him to make my nails a bit shorter.. Towards the the very end (about 2 hours in), the salon started to pick up so the lady up front came over to finish my gel coat while the man got ready to help another client. Before he left my station I showed the lady a picture of the actual shape and size I wanted. She was kind, made small talk, definitely put smile on my face & when I was paying for my dip manicure she even apologized. She is actually the reason I gave this place 2 stars. Don't get my wrong if my nails were not the shape and size I wanted I would not make a big stink. But the fact that I sat in that salon for 2 hours knowing that the man was irritated with me the whole time was not a great experience. I will not be returning to this salon.. read more

Just horrible. I'll start with the nearly $300 price tag for the "jelly" (no massage) pedi and full set acrylics with rushed service. It was a poor application of sideways tips, cut cuticles, and rough emery boards cutting my skin. I can't say one good thing about the manicure and pedicure. I was even told by the technician when checking out that I needed to tip 20%. The girls were nice but that doesn't make up for the rest of it. I would never, EVER visit this salon again. read more

I will definitely be a returning/regular here at this salon. Very clean and the nail techs are friendly. As soon as I walked in I was greeted then asked to clean my hands before sitting at a station. If there was a wait they had people sitting outside instead of inside which is also cool. They are very clean! They use bags and they also use new kits on each customer. Over all the quality of my nails are great!! Elle worked on my hands and feet and she was so friendly and took her time! Another thing I liked was how honest the nail techs are, if they can't do a design they won't butcher it they will just tell you they can't do a design like that. Elle did my service and her reviews are stellar on here so maybe it was a bad day for her. My pedi was all of 12 minutes, start to finish.
