I am from Stamford and we have tons of pizza places in our area, however, none of them are as good as Classica. For me, great pizza is worth the extra few miles and I don't mind driving to Norwalk to get it. Their pizza is awesome and their pasta dishes are outrageous. We ordered 3 pies, and all of them were great. My husband is an extremely picky eater, and he admitted that Classica was the best pizza he's ever had. The slight crispy bottom was my favorite part. We also ordered the Penne vodka for the table and it was so good that I wished I hadn't offered to share it! On top of their great food, their service is one of a kind. Their staff makes you feel like part of the family and they go above and beyond to make sure all of their customers are satisfied. The location is convenient, located right between the Merritt and 95 so it's really not out of the way for anyone. For such a busy street, Classica is one of the few restaurants on that road that offers ample parking, so don't worry about having to find a spot. If you're in the Norwalk area or you're like me and don't mind the few extra miles, Classica is a must try. You won't be disappointed! read more

Whenever we order from them the food is consistent and great. The delivery is always on time and hot. I use to go to Italia but ever since they can't get an order right I went to Classica for pizza which is spot on. My son is gluten free and swears by their pizza as the best in town. Then we branched our to other items on the menu and haven't had one bad thing. read more

Was there last weekend and though had passed the place a few times, did not consider until I read the Yelp reviews. It's a family business and they don't hide that. We bought a large pepperoni and mushroom with 2 large drinks for $22 which was a good value. It's a little sparse inside regarding decor, but the service was attentive and the son of the owner came by to chat. They are considering a beer & wine license, so that could help matters and boost spend. Parking is at a premium. This pizza is beyond delicious. I decided to try Classica Pizza during my Thanksgiving visit to CT (I grew up in Fairfield County but live in Austin now) after reading their Yelp reviews. Upon arriving, there weren't any guests in the restaurant so we understandably got a little nervous about whether I'd picked the right spot for my much-anticipated annual CT/ NY pizza meal (no pressure). But, with so many 4 and 5 star reviews I had to follow through and see what it was all about. As soon as I entered, I knew we were going to be in good hands: the smell of NY-style pizza filled the room and there was a group of older Italian gentlemen working away in the kitchen. Always a good sign! My family and I were quickly greeted by a young man behind the counter who happily guided us to a table where he took our order for a Classic Cheese pizza and a House Special pizza. The House Special pizza is combination of mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, sliced meatballs and peppers which my family ate in its entirely and the Classic Cheese was honestly the best pizza I've ever had. The crust on both was on the thinner side, but nice and crispy on the bottom without any signs of being charred. I only eat pizza once a year so I do my best to find the best one I can before indulging and I have to say - this pizza far surpassed any I've had in the last 20 years. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You won't be disappointed by the perfect balance of cheese, sauce and crust AND their great customer service. I'll definitely be back next year! My "go to" when I'm having a stay in kinda night. I almost always order delivery and I have loved every single pizza I have gotten EVERY time. My fiancé and I have ordered the BBQ chicken, salad pizza, and the veggie. I'm from NY and I am so grateful this place opened up just 5 min down the road. Made a second visit here. This will be my place for take out after many years of not having a "go to" place for us. I do prefer the charred crunchy crust style of Pepe's but am not driving there every time I want pizza. This is more of your standard thin crust and cooked in a regular pizza oven. While waiting for my pizza one of the owners, Vilson, offered to try a slice of chicken - bacon pizza on the house. It was delicious and a great way to treat your customers. I have been picking up pizza for over 30 years and never had such a good customer service gesture like that at a pizza restaurant. My absolute new favorite spot! Pizza is soooo good! Loveee the crust.. A little confused by one reviewer claiming the crust was too crispy. Who wants soggy pizza crust? Not me. Definitely try the prosciutto and Arugula pie. To die for! Love the build your own salad option. I also love that the Salads come in a big plastic container so you can shake it with the dressing and mix it. Lemon dressing is one of my faves and love the Arugula option for the Salads. And they have avocado! Ordered deliver from them a handful of times and its always quick. Staff is very friendly. Great addition to Norwalk- you can tell they're using good ingredients. The cheese is really flavorful, the sauce has a nice balance. I've been stopping in since the day these guys opened. It's definitely tough to make an impact in the pizza business in the Fairfield/Westchester County area with so many other pizzerias. However, Classica has definitely distinguished themselves with a unique crust (just the right amount of crispiness and thickness), and quality ingredients. We've had everything from their pizza, pasta, lasagna, salads and wings, and everything has been on point! We've eaten in, and taken food to go. Never been disappointed. I only wish I lived closer. I'm declaring this pizza as the best in Norwalk! Not since the owner of Pizzeria Rosso closed his shop and opened Bar Sugo several years ago has there been pizza this good in Norwalk with the exception of the Colony Grill (which to me is a totally different animal). The crust is thin and chewy, the sauce is not overwhelmed by dry herbs, a common flaw but what distinguishes great Neapolitan style pie is the cheese. There is one particular brand of pricey mozzarella from Wisconsin that many of the better pizza shops in the NYC metro area use and they use it here. You can smell it when you walk in the door, it's distinctive. That they deliver is a bonus. I hope they make it. This seems to be a tough location. read more

I gotta a pizza grits with powdered sugar, which was also good, I wish it was cut in smaller pieces, they do 4 slices but it was good regardless. We've been looking for a good New York style pizza for years in Norwalk but they all have their shortcomings. So we thought we'd give the newly opened Classica a try. It was PERECT! The pizza had a thin enough crust to rival NYC pizza and the sauce was excellent. We ordered jalapeno poppers and were so surprised to get 8 to an order where everyone else charges $2 more and gives you 5 or 6. The Classica salad was excellent and we loved the mix of greens plus other ingredients. All in all, this is our new pizza place, no need to go anywhere else in our opinion.
