This restaurant food smells bad and also gave me stomach inflammation.

The pizza smelled bad, so I threw it in the trash. It was the worst experience I've ever had and I'll never do it again in my life.

Margarita Pizza

Local pizza joint- nothing fancy. I ordered a margarita pizza and it was pretty good. Pan pizza- so thicker crust and golden on top- Greek style. My daughter ordered fettuccini Alfredo and the sauce was more like a soup and wasn't that flavorful. The chicken on it was good. Our waitress was fine with us but I saw her be kind of rude to an Indian woman with two little kids. They sat at a table she didn't want them to sit at or something. But it seemed busy and popular with the locals. I'd say this place is ok. It's location is great and it's convenient to the SONO AMC theater, which is why we tried it.

Chicken Caesar

This is a hidden gem. The food here is EXCELLENT and better than most upmarket restaurants. The burgers are amazing and the salads are one of the best I've ever had. The prices are good for the quality and quantity of food you get. Service is kind and there's never a long wait for the food because the place is very small. It's very cozy and has fairy lights and artificial leaves around it to enhance the atmosphere. Very family friendly and a nice cozy date night spot.

Large Margarita pizza

Wanted a margarita pizza and seemed to be hard to find in the area. But this place popped up with good reviews, and so I gave it a try. I Ordered over the phone on a Tuesday early afternoon (during the pandemic). The Parking is metered on a semi busy road. Walked in they had inside seating open at the time- and a counter for pick up. The food was ready, so I paid and left. Only issues were the receipt- it's not itemized, and I also tried ordering wings (flats only and this was not available). This is a big one for me but I get not al places do that. I also saw they had a fountain machine with Pepsi sodas, and added this to my order ($3.00). However, the soda tasted like what I imagine toilet water to taste like. So while this was a very unpleasant taste it wasn't a deal breaker I would say JUST ORDER BOTTLED;). I ordered a large margarita pizza, an order of Buffalo chicken tenders, and lots of ranch (0.50 cents extra each- but good portions for us ranch lovers). I spent about 5-10 mins there total, $30.00 for everything. Food was really good, soda egh not so much.

Best Best Best pizza in life ok. From the sauce to the crust, I die. My favorite is the chicken parm. I lived in Norwalk for a few years before moving to Florida in 06. Finally, I have made it back for a return visit and DUHHHH, I had to go to my favorite spot. The crazy thing is, I'm not really into pizza but this stuff..:. This pizza... does something to me lol. I ordered a medium because well, why freaking not. 20 minutes later it's ready and so am I. I literally ate 4 slices (they are small slices) on my way to my grams house back in NY. I wish this places or something like it was back in FL but, it's not. The restaurant looks exactly the same. Rustic lol. The staff and friendly, dine in or take out. Who doesn't know about Famous Pizza, better get to know them, they are BOMB! I'm so mad I forgot to order a chicken slavocky salad ( I butchered the name and spelling) but it's a yummy yummy salad that one must try. Point... GO TO FAMOUS PIZZA. It won't disappoint!

Bar B Q Pizza

YUM!! Since my daughter turned 3 this past Monday, what better way to celebrate that, than by going to a pizza place?! Pizza is one of her favorite things of course! We got the bar b q pizza, buffalo wings and my mom got a salad with raspberry vinaigrette. For some reason I was in the mood for the shrimp pizza, but we went for the bar b q instead. I absolutely LOVED the way it tasted, a little sweet with just the right amount of spice. The buffalo wings were also pretty amazing and I have to confess, I've ordered from there twice in the same week! The staff here is super friendly and efficient. It's a bummer that this place doesn't deliver though. :(

A cigarette machine... Really?!

Can we talk about what a life changing experience going to Crust Issues has been?…read more I mean, yes, y'all are right, your parking is utter shizz. But the food?! My God. We had the most amazing dishes. The garlic knots are somehow both crispy on the outside and soft and light on the inside with the most amazing garlic butter. The mozzarella sticks covered in the marinated peppers are amazing. I am going to dream about the salad INSIDE the pizza. The pastina was perfection. The wings were crispy and the sauce was heavenly. And the pizza was almost like a focaccia with all the flavor and creative toppings only evil geniuses can provide. The restaurant was clean and had great atmosphere; well decorated and cozy. The staff was friendly and fun. You are clearly an enclave of sarcastic wizards who use your powers for culinary evil of the best variety. We drove an hour to get there and I will be back. But I might park in a real parking lot and take an Uber.

So when we had some company visiting us, we decided to treat them to this very personalized prefix style restaurant. First of all, the restaurant is located in a very small strip tight off of Connecticut ave that probably has room for 10 cars. So parking was very challenging. We had to circle around a few times, before we decided to park in a residential area. Since they have scheduled timing for each party, all of them arrive at the same time, hence waiting for parking was not an option. Once inside, it has a very family oriented feel, several tables, that get served the food at the same time, so glancing at other tables on what they got gets ruled out. The service was nice, after each course, someone comes over and announces what we are getting and explains it a little bit. Te food is very well made, and is very different from the previous serving. I think we got 7 or 8 servings, after which we felt very full. We had a talk with the owner and the chef, both very nice people working extremely hard to make the customers happy. The only downside was that there was an annoying tiktoker or whatever they are called who was loud, had her camera on and was making all kinds of attempts to get attention from the owner and the chef, which was a big distraction, (I think these people should not be let in) Other than that, I loved the concept, and was so happy to see how busy the place was. Good addition to the Norwalk culinary scene.

We first discovered Coals when they had locations in New York. After those closed, we happily started making the trip to Connecticut because nothing else compares. We've even celebrated special occasions here because the restaurant is spacious, welcoming, and has such a great atmosphere. The service is second to none. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the waitstaff is always friendly, attentive, and excellent. Coals is always worth the trip, and we can't recommend it enough!

My mom had insisted on going here on Mother's Day. Fortunately, their Connecticut location was open and we went. Bianca, I believe as a manager and was super accommodating with my mom's 100 questions haha. We started with one of the salads and the brussels sprouts. Both were great, but the brussels sprouts stood out to me. As for the pizza, we got the Margherita, Rustic, & Bayside. All of them were great, but the Bayside had to be my favorite. The pistachio pesto and goat cheese went very well together. The Rustic was a close runner up- mushrooms and truffle oil are always a match made in heaven. The Margherita was a classic but with the style of super thin, almost cracker-thin pizza I preferred the other two more. All in all, my family and I would definitely make it out to Norwalk again just for this place (& we live in Long Island). Thanks Bianca for making my Mom's day!
