They always make great pizza and other dishes and service is always quick. Not much else to say. My only request, folks, is to NOT use maple bacon when bacon on a pizza is requested. It's really gross. I got a pepperoni and bacon pizza tonight and couldn't figure out why it smelled odd, until I tasted it. read more

4 star for the times we dined in. Service was okay. 0 star for delivery - we ordered online via an app and waited for an hour before calling only to be told the order was never entered, got hung up and had to call again to cancel. It was on a hot summer day and really the worst experience. Wanted to support local business but it's hard when the system is broken. Or at least call to order. Do not order via app. read more

I want to support my local businesses, but Wilton Pizza has progressively gone downhill, starting with inferior mozzarella on their pizzas. Yesterday I ordered a large margharita pizza and a spinach calzone at the bill was $50! When did this happen!!??? Romanacci has far superior pizza. It's a hike, but that's where I'm going now. read more

Used to be great. Now there's nothing Italian about this place. Pizza served with a knife and fork. Univision on the tv.

The small Caesar salad was very good and big enough for 2 people. We ordered 2 small pizzas; one Welcome to Naples and on meatball & onion. Both delicious! Our waitress was welcoming and very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Not the same owner, different pizza so don't e spect the same pizza much thicker and totally different. They should change the name if changing recipes. read more

Good basic pizza! I have tried the chicken parm and lasagna and did love it. So i strictly go for the pizzas. They serve liquor. You can sit outside on the patio relax and have beer and a pie on a warm afternoon. Interior is dated and dark. Staff is very nice. read more

I recently ordered the Chicken Fajita Pizza and told the waitress that I have a dairy allergy, and asked that they substitute the mozzarella and cheddar for the vegan cheese. When it came out, my boyfriend and I thought the cheese looked like real cheese so I went in and asked the waitress again if the cheese was vegan, and she said yes. After we ate a few slices, I began to feel unwell and asked the waitress again if the cheese was vegan and she said yes. She then brought out the chef and we asked him, and he said the cheese was not vegan. He was very apologetic and seemed very upset about the situation. He compensated our food as well. The chef was polite and the pizza was good, but the waitress clearly did not care about my dairy allergy. I would go back but only once the waiters are more receptive to people's food allergies and dietary restrictions. read more

I've had decent food from Wilton Pizza before, but what I picked up today represents quite possibly one of the WORST penne vodka sauce dishes that I have ever had. The portion that I received looked half eaten, was dried out like it was leftover from yesterday or even days earlier and THEN overcooked when reheated in the microwave, and there was absolutely NO prosciutto or shallots (as described on the menu) to be found. On top of it all, I paid $15.99 plus tax for this. You have got to be kidding me. I will not be returning and I'm going to share this experience with anyone looking for a place to eat, as where NOT to go. Inexcusable. read more

The pizza here is not necessarily the best pizza, and I am not the biggest fan of it. I really like the ambiance and how it has a "jazz" theme. One time when I went there, my card got denied and one of the staff members tried to take my card before I could swipe again. Pizza also takes a long time to come out, but the garlic knots taste really good. I think Pinocchios pizza is better, so go there. read more

Ordered take out from here for the first time in a while. The staff is friendly, but the pizza is just average. It is also pricey for the quality. There are better choices out there, so I'd just consider this as a back up. read more

Amazing pizza Perfect cheese, sauce, crust ratio. My kids love it. Great location, great food! read more

As a lifelong New Yorker, this was the first CT pizza place that I liked and we've ordered from here many many times. I would recommend their cheese pizza, Wilton Special pizza, mozzarella sticks, caesar salad, cheese calzone, protein calzone, chicken francese, and brownies. The Parker's pesto pasta is just okay - not worth the price - but not bad. I'll post an update as I try more dishes. Sometimes their delivery speed is super quick (~30 minutes) and other times it can take over an hour even though we're only located 5 minutes away. I'm really glad that they deliver. The only other pizza place I like - Letizia's - does not deliver, so Wilton Pizza is my go-to. My husband isn't a big fan of pizza. I know! His New York card should've been taken away years ago. Epic NY staples like L&B Spumoni are "just okay" to him, but he said the Wilton Special pizza was "pretty good." That's the biggest compliment he has ever given to a pizza. The one thing I'm missing from Wilton Pizza (and the other pizzerias in the area) are spinach rolls. Maybe one day... read more

House flooded and we were put up in rental in Wilton. Been eating from Wilton Pizza more than anywhere else. Kids love the pizza and parents love the pasta dishes (solid penne vodka). Also one of the few places that does garlic knots justice! read more

Very good pizza. We had a margarita pizza. We also had a calzone. I like that they put the sauce on the side. We ate outside. They have live music in Tuesday. The volume was a little too high making it difficult to talk at our table, but the singer was good. They have great service here as well. read more

i ordered a speciality pizza. the sauce has no flavor other than tomato as if they opened a can of plain Hunts tomato sauce and poured it on. The red peppers were not roasted, but pickled which gave a very bad flavor to the whole pizza. The mushrooms were dried out as if they were put on after the cheese, which was sparse to begin with. This was the worse pizza I have ever had. read more

Eh, not impressed. I've had better pizza at far less cost. The presentation was standard - definitely not like any of these photos shown on here. Not really sure if these photos are theirs but most are outdated anyways. Perhaps there was a different chef years ago? read more

Nice quiet patio area to enjoy lunch/dinner on a beautiful day. Never had a bad experience here, food is always good. I have probably been here at least 10 times. As a fan of Jazz, I enjoy the Decor and music being played inside. Yelpers, always remember that most people, by nature, are more inclined to dwell on the bad, not the good in their lives. For every 1 bad reviews, there are probably 100 people that loved the place. If you have had a good experience here, please yelp about it. This place deserves better than its current 3 stars. read more

I really liked the pizza we had here. It took such a long time for our pizza to come out, but the food was good enough that the wait didn't matter as much. Now the pizza was good, but definitely not the best I've ever had. We ordered the Jazzeria Special with meatballs, mushrooms, onions, and peppers. The pizza came loaded with toppings, so loaded that we in fact could hardly pick up each slice. The cheese was good and gooey, while the sauce was slightly sweet and tangy. The sauce had nice chunks of tomato. The crust was thin and crispy with a nice puffiness, though not was chewy and puffy as a Neapolitan style pizza. I was very pleased with the food and would gladly come again, though the service definitely docked off some stars. read more

I've been getting pasta from Wilton pizza for several times now. There are many options for pasta dishes. I usually prefer angel hair pasta. I do like their pizza but service is completely inconsistent. Have tried to order food to Merwin Meadows to call in after 45 min to be told they are busy and walk in to find an empty restaurant. Order one thing receive another. One male server is wonderful, a female one can rip you a new one. Asked them to put my sister's order on my card, they told her she has to pay for hers but can take the one I paid for to go. Alina goes out to insult me in front of my sister and kids. Not the sweet small town shop I thought it was for sure. read more

Excellent pizza, vegan cheese option, great people! Would recommend for anyone feeling like an thin slice NY style pie.

Penne Vodka is not good. watery & not creamy. Worst we've ever had

My friend and I just had a wonderful evening at Wilton Pizza. We had a pleasant, memorable experience. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. There was light piano music playing in the background, a soothing sound, that did not overpower our conversation. Our server's name was Kathy, she was excellent. She was extremely thoughtful, conscientious throughout, telling us about the specials, and all what's new at Wilton Pizza. Our Food arrived before we knew it. We each had a salad, glass of wine and a dinner entrée. The wine was a dinner special for only $5.00, it was delicious. I would definitely recommend the eggplant parmesan and the chicken francese. She told us that the woman who manages the restaurant has many new changes planned. I will post what I can recall she said; new daily specials, kids eat free days, senior specials, and healthier food options, like gluten and dairy free items. Overall, the combination of food, atmosphere, and Kathy's excellent service, we will definitely be back! read more

Gotta love Wilton pizza. It's a neighborhood family favorite, and rightfully so. My favorite is their Jazz pizza - it's one of their specialties and never disappoints. It's topped with ricotta, mozzarella, roasted garlic, broccoli and spinach. It's my go-to when I come here, but to be honest, if I'm ordering a more "basic" pizza (plain, pepperoni, spinach), there are other pizza spots in the area that I would go to before Wilton pizza. If you're stopping in for lunch or for something a little lighter than pizza, I highly recommend the Ragtime Panini. My friend and I will go here specifically for this panini - homemade Italian bread, tomato, mozzarella, basil, and balsamic - you can't go wrong! Wilton pizza is great for takeout but they have room to sit down as well. In the summers, they have an awesome outdoor seating area and sometimes a live jazz band that plays while you eat. It's a great atmosphere, and good for any group--families, couples, friends--and a friendly staff. read more

Worst pizza ever. Cheese is fake and smelled up the hell out my truck and my buddies truck. Their drivers are horrible too. They'll cut you off just to get a pizza to a house for the tip.. Will never eat again. read more

I must preface that this is one of our favorite pizza joints, they have some really interesting and delicious creations... that said... I went there with my daughter for a quiet midweek lunch and had probably the worst Margherita pizza ever! it was a bit shocking actually. NO MOZZARELLA?!? NO SAUCE?!? just a plain 'white' cheese pie with about a fist full of chopped tomatoes and about two pinches of chopped basil... My two year old was starving was the only reason I didn't have the patience to ask them to refire... Confused and Disappointed read more

Wow, what a total disappointment! I thought about giving it two stars b/c the pizza isn't that bad, but the service stinks. Just the other night my wife and I went in there for dinner at 9:15.PM. When we approached the door, we were given the cut-off sign with the finger across the neck by some guy sitting inside talking with a girl. I hope it was the owner because only they should be able to turn away paying customers during clearly posted business hours. I've gone in for a slice before. There's no place inside to sit down and eat a slice. the marketing is also very confusing. Is it "Wilton Pizza" or is it 'the Jazzaria"? What it is to me is the place I'm gonna skip next time I wanna eat some pizza, that's for sure. read more

Wilton Pizza used to be good- but not anymore. The only positive was the service inside- warm and welcoming. The pizza however left A LOT to be desired. For $30 I can get the a medium pizza (sausage, pepperoni and mushroom) at Red Rooster. 30 at Wilton Pizza got me 4 slices of Sausage Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza- that were just OK- nothing to write home about at allI Will not return... read more

Wilton Pizza is a good casual option that is very kid friendly. They have a nice outdoor dining area and the food is not bad or spectacular. They do have some imaginative salad options which are enjoyable and the pizza is not bad. The service is decent, but can get overwhelmed as they tend to be understaffed at times. Wilton Pizza is good option if you are looking for a place to go after a child's game or for a casual pizza and if you do not feel like driving far. read more

just moved into the area and was looking for a local pizza place. I looked on yelp and they had good reviews so i thought i'd try it out. I ordered a large hawaiin pizza for pick up. when i arrived i was greeted amazingly, the staff were all smiling and asking "how are you?". The only reason for me to not give a five star is that 2 slices of the pizza were inedible due to fat too much cheese. other than that the taste was authentic. will definitely eat here again!! :) read more

We recently moved to Wilton, and we find ourselves on the patio at Wilton Pizza every week. They are incredibly kind to our young son (who really likes their cheese pizza), and they have some of the BEST pizza in the tri-state area. In fact, we find that it's the only pizza that compares to that in NY/NJ. I've also had their gluten-free (just ask for it) Chicken Marsala, and it's incredible. Great food, great service, and cozy patio. read more

I really like their pies but I was very disappointed in the pasta dish I decided to try. It was the "Miles Davis" which sounded good on paper but I think fell flat. The sauce was way too watery. I was expecting a pesto like consistency and maybe more flavor in a denser sauce. I think the whole garlic cloves didn't work either. The pies however are excellent. I haven't been let down by the pies yet! read more

Poor management. Tried to get in. All tables empty except two. Tons of people waiting. One poor waiter trying to clean up a spill. 7 people behind counter doing nothing to help. Went to Hunan next door. Seated with menus in 30 seconds. I have updated this review. The owners were nice enough to email me and have me try again. So we went back during the week. I had one of their specials, which was shrimp/scallops over linguine and it was quite good. I forget what my wife had, but it was enjoyable as well. The service was acceptable during that midweek time. I'd say its a fine place if they are not swamped with customers. read more

Best local pizza hands down and I can't complain about their $5 subs. My favorite is the eggplant parm which is on great bread and is enough to share with 2 people. You really can't get a better deal anywhere and definitely not at subway. I recommend getting a large cheese thick crust pizza if you really want lots of special dough... Our family friends from out of town love it and always ask for it when they come to visit. Its so doughy and thick with lots of dough bubbles. I don't order delivery as it may take too long. Been coming here regularly for years. Really can't complain about anything. Its a local casual spot so don't expect anything beyond that. If you come or order here, stick to the pizza or subs. I LOVE New Haven pizza but I actually order from here regularly more regularly. And I rarely give anything 5 stars! read more
