I ordered the cheese ravioli, which was outstanding. The place was clean and comfortable for sitting down to eat, and the gentleman behind the counter, whom I assumed to be the owner, was pleasant and gracious. As someone who moved to ATL from NYC, I always look forward to trips to the tri-state area for Italian food. You don't make it in that niche if your food isn't up to par. I'm so very happy to have finally tried their pizza! It's easily one of the best in Norwalk and the immediate area. Not only do they make great pizza, but their wings are solid as well. Their grandma pizza is different than others I've tried - it's like a focaccia - thick & airy with a nice crispy exterior. Really nice to have something different and their large can feed 4 adults with moderate appetites - seriously 2 slices are quite filling! The family running the place is also really nice! I remember when there used to be another pizza shop and the food was pretty good so I decided to stop inside and ask if they sold by the slice because I am originally a New Yorker and I'm used to sliced pizzas. Meh, it was ok. My order got messed up and delivery took a long time. My hotel was 5 mins down the road, it took 15 mins longer than expected(an hour instead of 45 mins) which wasn't a big deal but the food was barely warm when it got to me. I know ordering online can be hit or miss with the delivery people, but they did also mess up. the order. I had never heard of this place before, but I was craving thin crust pizza and this is one of the few places that had multiple crust options when I searched. I ended up ordering the super thin crust pizza with pepperoni. Wow, the pizza was delicious! Perfect amount of cheese, sauce wasn't too sweet, and those roni cups were exceptional. I think this is better thin crust pizza than Colony or Rikos, which seem to have a cult following in this area. The crust was gorgeous with tasty dark spots, and remained crispy even though I got it delivered. We also ordered a Philly cheesesteak but honestly that was just meh. Upon recommendation from a very nice server, I went with the margarita pizza, and I loved it. It was beautifully flavored and the right mix of all the ingredients. Getting a slice at Crust feels like being back in NY. A reheated slice has that crispness in the crust that a pizza straight out of the oven can't offer. They have a few tables to dine-in and you can top your pizza with Parmesan, garlic powder, herbs, or chili flakes. When I order to-go, I always get the Grandma Pie. It's sooooo good! This is the worst pizza in Norwalk. This place changed ownership 3 times in 2 years. The pizza used to be great ny style. Now, it is awful. The pizza is consistently burnt on the bottom so you get to eat large charred carbon pieces. The restaurant is cramped with no atmosphere. The beverage selection is poor. You pay more by credit card. Ordered thru Uber eats and all the food arrived cold. It's understandable with a 45 min delivery window and the driver had another stop. Pizza was nice and tasty after reheating but had a 2 inch crust. Eggplant parm sub was horrible and arrived so cold and stuck to the foil. No taste and the batter was so weird and eggy. Lived nearby and tried Crust for the first time and I was very impressed. The BEST chicken wings with several options of spice/fire that anyone can take unlike the boneless wings now at Planet Pizza a few blocks away. Ordered half margherita/ half Hawaiian pizza and a pizza with six toppings and it was awesome. Crust was not thick- just enough to hold everything down; crunchy on the edges, sauce was delicious and they don't skimp on toppings either. Their Italian dressin is not just a bunch of oil with some herbs floating in i, it has flavor and is not oily!
