After lunch in the area we decided to stop here for some gelato. We had recently been to Italy and we were in need of some gelato. I had a Cappacino and a tiramisu gelato while my girlfriend had a strawberry gelato. Ultimately, it was good. The small café has several tables inside and more outside of the café. In addition to gelato and coffee they also sold various Italian baked goods and other items. The staff was nice and I can definitely see us going back again.

Baked Croissant (chocolate/pistachio/Nutella cream flavor to choose) is good, tiramisu was authentic. Lobster Claws was crispy and yummy. foccacia prosciutto sandwich with lettuce tomato & cheese, was so good and big enough for two people. (Must try) Latte was good, not bitter and stays hot during the whole meal because of the double wall coffee mug. I also like their coffee. Definitely a hidden gem, i didn't know they already opened for 2 years, owner come from Napels Italy very friendly people. The cafe is clean and cozy, will come back aga5to try more items and the gelato.

We stumbled across this cafe on our drive home and were pleasantly surprised! The staff are very friendly and the cafe is traditional Italian! The owners are Italian as well. It's very cute inside with plenty of imported Italian goods to purchase along with their coffee, sandwich, and pastry menu. I absolutely loved the pistachio bambalone!

A welcome addition to the apparent "gentrification" of the area. Very friendly service in an intimate setting. No matter what time of day they always seem to be busy, and well deserved! Their coffee is smooth and rich without bitterness. And they offer a selection of alternative, milk like almond & pistachio. Seating for approximately 20. Although there is intention to expand in the summer of 2023. Their traditionally crafted cappuccinos and lattes are perfection. I have not tried the gelato as of yet. But their pastries are reminiscent of the delicate delicious ones we've enjoyed throughout Italy. Cornetto is a traditional Italian pastry that closely resembles a croissant. They offer a variety of flavors, but to me the most luscious is the pistachio. Filled with a rich velvety pistachio cream. A wide selection of imported Italian retail from dry pasta, cookies, spices/oils, fresh cheeses and charcuterie.

Super cute and welcoming space! The staff is super friendly and the coffee was fantastic as well as the desserts. Highly recommend the cornettos and lemon cake.

Wow! Norwalk needed a place like Pausa. True authentic Italian drinks, pastries, and food. Drinks can be made custom and the staff gives great suggestions! Everything is made quickly and prices are great. The atmosphere makes Pausa that much better. The staff are all so warm and friendly. You feel like you're truly in a café right in Italy. This is a must try!

What a cute place. Small selection but great service. We ordered and sat outside and they brought a whole set up to us. Delicious cappuccino, great tea and biscotti (which actually appeared to be sugar cookies, but yummy nonetheless). I took off a star because one of the people working there was sitting smoking a couple of feet away and the smoke was drifting over to us and it was a LOT. Almost ruined the experience.

They have a great variety of take home items as well. We got these for our daughter and she loved them.

Pausa Caffe is a brand new coffee shop in Norwalk. The owners are from Italy and offer authentic Italian desserts and drinks. Everything in the cafe is imported from Italy, with the exception of the bottled water, which the owner told me, he is planning to change in the future as well! While the coffee and the desserts were great, I think I may have loved the atmosphere in the place the most! When you walk in there is Italian music playing, the sounds of people speaking in Italian, and I kid you not, as we were sitting there enjoying our coffee and treats a man came in and loudly announced "Buongiorno!". I was able to speak to the owners about their new place and hear their passion for offering a truly authentic experience with their cafe. They have so many plans for the future - things like offering gelato, outdoor dining, and maybe even beer and wine in the distant future. I went with my husband and four year old daughter and it was wonderful experience. The latte and macchiato were great. (They do have almond and oat milk!) I wanted to try a few items so we got the chocolate croissant (which is made there), the tiramisu and a pistachio cannoli. The chocolate croissant was pretty good. The tiramisu wasn't bad, but it wasn't the most amazing one I've ever had. The lady finger on top was a little dry, however, underneath it the rest of the cake was moist and delicious. The pistachio cannoli was amazing though!!! I highly recommend it! The cafe offers a variety of take home food items as well. From pastas to cookies and other Italian yummies (I was told on Friday they would have Buffalo Mozzarella!!!), this cafe is a great addition to Norwalk! I know this is going to sound silly, but I loved the experience so much, I left wanting to learn Italian and travel to Italy! If you find yourself near Norwalk, and love coffee and Italian desserts, I highly recommend stopping in! You won't regret it!

Very interesting spot in an area getting gentrified. Very true Italian, had something that was cream coffee which was a bit odd it was more like a milk shake than coffee, not what I was expecting.. it was ok. Pastries were pistachio croissant and a cream filled croissant which both were ok. Quaint little place we just ordered the wrong items I believe for our taste.

Nothing bad to say. Service excellent, Food impeccable. I decided not to have my goto, chicken marsala. Instead, I got the veal scarpariello, turns out they combined their marsala sauce with a scarpariello. I've nothing bad to say, the veal, the sausage, the cherry peppers were excellent. My wife got the trout almondine. Perfectly cooked, melted in your mouth. And let us not forget the potatoes. Both of us couldn't stop taking about the potatoes. Sad to see the vespa gone, but it's still a cozy and charming place even without it. Needless to say, we will be coming back

We sat down promptly at 5:30 and it was already packed. Almost every table was full. I'm not sure whether they were short staffed but service was only ok. Our server seemed to disappear for a long time. They took our drink orders and appetizers, which took a while to come out, probably half an hour. They were solid - the meatballs were soft and flavorful, the calamari was good. You could probably skip the baked clams - they were a bit chewy and gritty. The charcuterie board or whatever it's called was fine too. When we finally put our dinner orders in, we were already about an hour into sitting down. I had the "pollo rustico," which was pretty much just chicken scarpariello, which I love. It was very good here too, with big portions. Spicy, the chicken was a bit weird - seemed to be a few pieces instead of a breast. But cooked well. My wife had the eggplant, which was excellent. The food was good, it just took forever. By the time we left, we had been there two hours for apps and entrees. I like taking my time at restaurants, but it just felt like too long, especially with a kid.

"A birthday dinner that actually felt like one."…read more Sienna Ristorante gets the balance right in a way most places don't. The space immediately stands out with a clean, modern feel that still feels warm, not staged or overly polished. It sets the tone before the food even hits the table. The meal itself followed through. The complimentary bread with oil was simple but done right, soft with a good crust and a clean, flavorful dip. We shared the wild mushroom arancini, and that was the first real standout. Crispy on the outside, rich on the inside, and the sauce was the kind you keep going back to without thinking. It carried the dish. For mains, I went with the wild mushroom pizza, which came out with a well balanced crust and just enough weight from the toppings without feeling heavy. The mushrooms were the focus and they delivered. The honeynut squash ravioli leaned more delicate, slightly sweet, and felt more composed than expected in a good way. Drinks held their own too. The Old Fashioned was clean and steady, while the lychee martini added something lighter and more refreshing to the table. They close the meal with biscotti and limoncello, which already would have been enough, but we added the tiramisu and that was the right call. It rounded everything out without feeling excessive, just a clean finish to a well paced dinner. Service matched the tone of the restaurant, attentive without hovering, and the pacing of the meal felt natural from start to finish. This is the kind of place that feels intentional. Not just good food, but a full experience that actually holds together. Easy to come back to, especially for something worth celebrating.
