Ordered a special July 4 cake for gathering - vanilla w raspberry filling serving 8-12. When I went to the store to pick up , owner/worker discovered they gave my cake to someone else . Gave me a smaller cake and made up for size w some cupcakes. I asked if the cake was same flavor I ordered as the icing and decoration looked the same and he said yes. Well it was not - it was some kind of chocolate marble on the inside. Complete failure on my well planned order. And others brought chocolate to the gathering so we needed my vanilla/raspberry This was the first time I used this shop and it was also my last time . read more

Terrible experience. I emailed to inquire and hopefully place an order for a birthday party (approx. 70 cupcakes). The person (Maggie) got back to me via phone and was very helpful but had to follow up with th owner on a couple of questions on the design and toppers, but was certain that the bakery can follow through. A week went by, nothing. I called and left a message for her, nothing. I did the same the following week, nothing. I even emailed her again, nothing. I wasted 2 weeks waiting on them to get back to me as I did not want to commit to other bakeries out of respect for them. But now I will. What a complete waste of time. read more

I ordered a Black Forest cake for my senior citizen residents and the cafe was so large! They loved it!! They all took home slices with them! The service was great, they had my order ready when I walked in. The ambiance was so nice, the smell of baked goods was just sending me into orbit. I couldn't leave without buying myself a little something, I chose a chocolate chip drizzle cookie. I'll be back to purchase more goodies! read more

Beautifully decorated cakes and cupcakes that taste delicious and are reasonably priced!! I ordered a cake for a baby shower and got a few cupcakes for someone's birthday as well! They were an absolute hit at the party! Everyone agreed that the cake was just as delicious as it was beautiful! And the service I received from Sky when I arrived was great as well! The pickup was smooth, and he even brought the cake out to my car and made sure it was secure for transport! read more

Tiny cupcake and cake spot with a few different flavor options. Although the place is pretty basic, the cupcakes are delicious and the people are very friendly. The cupcakes are pretty small however. No seating when I was there, but they may have seating during non-COVID times 8 read more

Ordered a pink "ombré" cake for my daughters baptism. I chose an image from their gallery of cakes they have previously made for inspiration. I asked if they could keep the colors the exact same baby pinks but with a smooth finish. Unfortunately I got a HOT pink cake with 0 ombré to it. Swing and a miss. read more

Finally!! A bakery with delicious cakes (and I love me some cake) that are also pretty!! Super accommodating and they were able to create an amazing custom Medicare card cake for my FIL with less than 3 days notice. We stuck to something simple that everyone would like so vanilla cake with chocolate mousse deliciousness - I only wish there was more mousse filling :-) Can't wait to try their other flavors. The icing wasn't too sweet either - first time that there really wasn't any cake leftover!! Thank you guys!!! read more

These are the most expensive for the flavor cupcakes I have ever had. So far I have tried Red Velvet, Vanilla Celebration, Chocolate mint and Vanilla coconut, Chocolate Gnache and chocolate raspberry. For the cost there is absolutely no variety in the flavor. Vanilla celebration, is exactly what you expect. That's fine. Very heavy egg flavor. Red Velvet has absolutely no chocolate I. It, just a vanilla cake with red food coloring. The frosting has absolutely no cream cheese just a normal buttercream. Vanilla Coconut again just your standard buttercream and white cake with a little coconut sprinkled on top. The Chocolate mint, again just a colors buttercream with no flavoring. The chocolate cakes is super bitter, and not good dark chocolate butter but ruin your tastebuds bitter. The mint is there but super subtle. Chocolate ganache and chocolate raspberry are the most flavorful cupcakes they provide but just barely. Again chocolate cake is just that chocolate. The buttercream on the raspberry had the flavor and it was nice but I would expect more effort for the price. All in all this is just a cupcake factory that makes 2 batters and colored buttercream toppings with minimal effort. Norwalk has significantly better options for the price you pay. I would not recommend going back and they definitely are not worth a second chance. Update: Just noticed this place has won an award for best cupcake 9 years in a row. I don't know who their competitors, but a basic store bought box cake can beat a majority of their flavors any day. read more

Most beautiful and delicious cake for my 4 year old's birthday!! All the kids (and adults!) absolutely loved.

I ordered a cake for my son's birthday 2 weeks ahead of time, going over all details via email/phone calls with this company. During the final contact, I also made payment in full. At that point, everything was good to go, or so I thought. On August 25th, the day of my son's birthday, I went to pick up the cake. After 6-7 minutes of checking, I was told that they didn't have my order and they came back to me with only the order slip in hand and no cake. I asked them if they were joking, and the guy rolled his eyes and simply said "no". He then suggested that I could purchase one of two pre-made cakes they had available, yet offering no apology or anything for their mistake. Days later, still no contact or apology from them. I was then and still am livid about this experience. Any other time I would let it go but this was a special occasion. I've been a patron for a while but no more and I will no longer recommend them to anyone. read more

Disappointed in the order of sugar cookies and cupcakes. They were soooo tiny. I had bought them for my neighbors and cousin, and was embarrassed to give both. The sugar cookies werea little over the size of a quarter for the holiday box and the cupcakes average to small. For the cost, I was hoping for more... at least to feel content with gifting them. Next year I'll bake myself. read more

Cupcakes were small but tasty. I am always disappointed, however, when there is no filling. All the good stuff is on top!

I only went here one (I am not huge on sweets) but... the cupcakes were **amazing**. So soft, so perfectly fresh, with a bunch of icing, but the thing is -- not overwhelmingly sweet, so they were delicious. Any time I ever need any kind of baked goods, this is going to be my go-to. The staff was super-friendly and helpful, and carefully packaged everything up to ensure no damage would come to the product. HIGHLY recommended: Red velvet with cream cheese icing. Oh my... I'm kind of drooling at the memory of having one, and that was back in November. read more

We didn't even get the chance to order with them because they took so long to get back to us. Made everything so complicated and couldn't give a straight up estimate for the cake we wanted. FSB hand delivered a half dozen cupcakes to my best friend on her birthday! Not only were they punctual, but they SANG 'happy birthday' to her during the delivery! Came here based on Yelp and we were surprised. They are more of a call ahead order kind of bakery. They still had a few cupcakes that were available for walk ins. So we picked up three to try. Can't remember the flavours but we were really surprised how moist the cupcakes were! Definitely swing by to try their cupcakes... now that we know the cupcakes are moist... the cakes must be just as good! We will need to order one to try!!! read more

Ordered a baby shower cake here. It was absolutely delicious (ordered vanilla frosting with vanilla cake). In addition, it was a beautiful display at the shower. Simple, yet perfect for our occasion.(See pic) A few days after the event, I received a phone call from, I'm presuming, one of the owners. She was calling to make sure the cake was to my liking and satisfaction. Kind, courteous and sweet, just like their bakery! read more

My daughter's birthday was yesterday and I was looking for a fun easy-to-eat treat she could share with her basketball team at Fairfield University. The owner even came out as we were backing up the car and said he would create a basketball pop for my daughter if we could wait for a minute. Super service. Wonderful food. What can I say except- hands down best cupcakes EVER! I am SUPER picky about homemade cakes and cupcakes to the point that I never buy them, only bake from scratch at home. This is the ONLY ONLY place locally I ever buy them from and I've tried my fair share over the years. They are better than any famous ones in NYC and I am thrilled they are right here our city of Norwalk! How lucky are we?? We have special ordered many times and just come in randomly to get a cupcake fix. They have NEVER disappointed us with the consistency and utter deliciousness! Our family favorites are: double chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, and lemon. They are very friendly, helpful, and quite often offer deals like buy one get one free so give them a try. I am telling you the cupcakes are outstanding! We are forever faithful fans and just hope Forever Sweet Bakery stays in Norwalk FOREVER!!! read more

Delicious gluten free cupcakes! So happy to find a wonderful bakery close to home with so many options!

I ordered from this bakery three times in one month... loved them every single time! I've tried almost all of their cupcake flavors and their triple chocolate cake is amazing. Juniors chocolate cake from NYC used to be my number one, but this place definitely beats it. Only thing is, cupcakes are pricey and they're pretty small... also, for me, too much frosting on their cupcakes, but I just don't eat all of it. read more

This place is the best! My company orders hundreds of cupcakes for big events from them and Sky delivers!!! I'm hooked!

I ordered a cake for Mother's Day and some cupcakes. I usually frequent a different bakery for such items but the quality had gone down. So I happened to find Forever Sweet Bakery and man was my wife and mother overwhelmed by flavor. The cake was a chocolate ganache cake and it's what dreams are made of. The cupcakes were excellent and it's hard finding a bakery with good cupcakes. I highly recommend Forever Sweet Bakery. read more

GREAT customer service and an AWESOME cake!!!!! Ordered the Chocolate Ganache cake as a birthday gift to be delivered. Christian was so helpful and patient in processing my order details. The cupcakes look cute and you can mix and match. But the many "flavors" of cupcakes all taste the same, overly sugary and stale. Cake orders have to be called in 2 days in advance - not sure if they actually bake it themselves. Not recommended. read more

Kickin' it up a star for this sweet, sweet place. I helped plan my best friend's baby shower last month and she had her heart set on custom cookies for shower favors. Her mom contacted a few local spots to inquire about llama (yes llama) cookies (see the pic! too cute.) and the response from other bakeries that created custom baked goods wasn't all that impressive. Forever Sweet was unfazed by the request and churned out a few dozen of the most delightful, precious, and delicious cookies for the party. I'd gotten a bunch of cupcakes here for my sister's bridal shower over the summer (a big hit) but had to give that 5th star knowing how great they are when it comes to less conventional custom orders! read more
