Friendly staff , it's a very cute cafe, it's spacious , has so much potential to be kept nicer what a shame & it's also very priceyyy for decent food not great . What is questionable is the way the food is being stored & kept, the deli area was a bit dirty not very appealing to the customers eye, please wear gloves as well when handling other people's food, I wish I could give this place a better review but it needs some cleaning up to do. read more

I am my wife have loved the chicken salad for years . It was our favorite and whenever we had company we would get it. However, I went in last week and I was very disappointed as it seemed to be a completely different chicken salad. Slopped in mayo and very heavy with onion and now red onion and pepper. Also seems oily and different chicken. Used to never be like that. Please go back to your roots. read more

I used to find this spot useful when I needed items in a pinch. I also used to love the coffee bar but the options and service has just continually gone down. The deli is the WORST part about Harbor Harvest. Someone let me know when the balding angry man no longer works there, as he is the rudest deli guy I've encountered in my whole life and the final reason why I will not be returning. Very good quality products sold in the store-- cool to check out-- but with very high prices. This visit was actually late 2023- the lady at the cashier was very sweet. Loved being able to sit in the back with picnic tables , my grandchild was able to run around and u can bring ur dog n close the gate! BUT i ordered an egg cheese croissant and they gave My daughter and i almond Croissants. They either didn't realize it or didnt think it mattered but it was a weird taste to have eggs on that. Then my daughters mil had a really hard stale roll for her egg sandwich. This place is sweet and nice staff but should not be portrayed as a farm to table restaurant. read more

Hidden gem in a neighborhood I always thought was ripe for being cute and it's finally morphing into what it was meant to become. The true gem, imo, are the freshly baked treats available by the on site baker. Delicious, fresh and inventive. At this point, I'm so over any baked treat that's not made fresh and with love. You are guaranteed to get both in these treats. It's a sweet little market - they did a great job renovating it. They seem to have a good selection of staples including upscale products. I enjoyed seeing Arethusa products available. At the back is a deli where you can get sandwiches. It's pretty meat centric at the moment but they say they'll be adding more non meat items, which is great. But for now, I'm happy to come for the pastries. You can rent an electric bike out front, which is a great idea. I didn't venture out back to see the seating but there's a sweet table in the front. This is a place that'll encourage Westporters to cross the line. Lol... Used to be an amazing place. Fresh meats, seafood, poultry, shell fish, fresh vegetables daily, fresh pies and baked goods. It has gone down hill. Case has a little bit of meat fish and lots and lots of prepared foods not looking that tasty anymore. Baked goods mostly muffins and cookies bought two loaves of french bread both stale. Always saw the two owners but not much any more. Latin chef gone and the older grumpy guy remains. Staff so so read more

Just "found" this treasure in East Norwalk on Cove Ave. I feel as though I've uncovered a rare gem. This privately owned grocery/deli/meat and fish market is a must visit for those who are look looking for the freshest produce, fruits, meats and dairy products. The owners Marilyn, Ernie and Bob couldn't be more gracious and helpful. I admit that my go-to grab and go was one of the bigger stores on Westport Ave but that's no longer the case. The products at Harbor Harvest are carefully displayed and the produce looks as though they've just been picked. Had a lovely conversation with Marilyn who told me that if I didn't find what I was looking for she would try to get it for me. Try that at one of the big stores! And it's great to see Terry who goes out of her way to help and give information on new products. There's a lovely coffee bar with seating and tables outside on the patio. So inviting. And don't get me started on the chocolates and desserts items. This market is wonderful in so many ways. I love shopping at locally owned stores with people who greet you when you enter and are truly grateful for your patronage. I noticed the store some months ago - and looked for info about them, and have been looking forward to their opening - IT'S HAPPENED What a great idea - on so many fronts (water, environment, healthy, convenient, quality, ...) Think this is going to be a phenomenal success, and lead by example for others. It looks like there's room in back for some outdoor seating, which would also be great - and hopefully I'll be able to go there with my Golden Retriever for healthy doggy snacks I'm sure it was a challenge to open during these times - but with proper safety precautions, and great confidence that you are taking them, this is probably the safes place to get some essentials and fresh produce - meat too! Huge backyard patio in the shade that you'll have to seek to find. Comfy and rustic but flavorful. They'll add a few drops of CBD into your drink, if that's what you're into, as well. read more

Underwhelming, overpriced food. They had a special for French onion soup, but it turned out to be out of a self-serve pot (sacrilege if you ask me) served with very stale, cold bread with some cheese melted on it. Sandwiches were edible, but priced at $15 each with no sides...a little steep for some sliced up shrimp on a soggy hot dog roll. The seating area had papers stacked behind it - why is the messy office area part of your shop? Deli glass needed a serious wipe down as it was dirty. Two stars because they have some cool products in the shop, but otherwise would have just been the one. Not somewhere I'd like to return. read more

The owners, Bob & Marilyn and Ernie, were incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and wonderful hosts. They offered us a lovely tasting ahead of our event; they all went out of the way to make even our tasting special. I was so happy when this establishment changed hands! What has come to Cove Avenue and this neighborhood, which is void of any grocery shopping possibilities, is a charming, family-run business that is bringing not only fresh and healthful options for food but a deli, prepared foods and cooking classes all under one lovely roof. Great job! So far everything I have purchased here from dry goods to deli meat to aged beef and fresh seafood are of the finest quality. I don't even find that the prices are that prohibitive, considering the find quality! There is always an abundance of fresh produce--vegetables and herbs - - grown on premises.
