This place is a real hidden gem. I was looking for a local spot to grab a quick breakfast sandwich in the morning and this place fit the bill. There are plenty of options (all good) for whatever you're feeling like having, whether it's breakfast or lunch, and it's a great little spot to sit and eat. First time here, and what a wonderful surprise! I've been searching for a go-to deli in the area and have not been successful...until now. Great location with a small parking lot (!) in addition to available street parking. Bright, clean, large open space inside with a separate dining area by the windows--very relaxing and so nice to have a place to sit without feeling cramped. The variety of food, snacks, and drinks offers something for everyone. Ordered a turkey sandwich and a BLT--both excellent. Very tasty, good quality, and well assembled (presentation and meat-cheese-topping ratio matters!). The owner was very friendly and helpful. The other reviewers were not wrong. This is a nice little place in East Norwalk for good food. I came in just before lunch time on a Monday and it was very quiet. I ordered a BLT omelette and it was excellent. The coffee is also very good. You serve yourself from hot carafes, but the richness and flavor is still very good. BLT always has great lunches and the staff is always so nice and friendly, but just had an office catered lunch by them and they knocked it out of the park!!! Every tin was so delicious!! Chicken Francese, Eggplant, Empanadas, 2 types of pasta, dessert! So much flavor and perfectly cooked! I definitely reccomend them for your next catered event!! Hands down, the best Deli in Norwalk (maybe in Fairfield County). I stopped by one lunch break after seeing it several times on my way home each night. Going for a good old BLT with fries, I was surprised to get perfectly toasted bread, perfectly done bacon, and a nice bed of crispy lettuce. I could have ate two of these. I always get the waffle fries now and i enjoy that they give you a pickle that is edible unlike some places. The staff is super friendly and remember you, strike up a conversation and you just get a great vibe from them. Highly recommended. Nice deli! It was clean and spacious, tables not all jammed together, good selection of salads and sandwiches and beverages. I got shrimp salad. The shrimp were grilled and were seasoned perfectly. They used iceberg lettuce, not my first choice. They recommend the house creamy lemon dressing, it tasted like dirty gym socks. I was then offered balsamic vinaigrette which was really good. They have a decent parking lot, which is a plus in Norwalk. If you eat in, they bring the food to your table with real dishes and silverware. read more

This hidden away Deli on Winfield Ave in Norwalk has great, fresh paninis, sandwiches, occasional specials like Rice and beans, Chicken Francese and more. The portion sizes are generous. It's a very well lit deli with lots of windows and a couple of tables for seating, and a friendly staff. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I frequent BLT Deli often. Whether breakfast or lunch, the food is always delicious and the Mexican omelet is one of my husband's favorites..... Mine is their salad with grilled shrimp and homemade Lemon vinegarette dressing. They always have yummy daily hot food specials and the best chicken, macaroni and potato salads made fresh daily. Owners Frankie and his lovely wife are the most gracious and friendly hosts.... Always service with a smile. Oh..... Very important.... The place is wonderfully clean. Give them a try.... Been here 3 times using Groupon deal. I tried their pancakes they're a little dense. Second time I had their chicken cutlet blt sandwich it was tasty! Just the red peppers threw me off.... and made it soggy later on with the other condiments. Third time I had their triple decker Hamburger that's included with fries. Was surprised when I didn't see a bun, but white bread!! Anyway, the hamburger meat was well done per request, thick and juicy. Fries are a little too oily with not much potato inside. Their staff is friendly and very accommodating. Deli is clean and shiny with large windows. Nice to grab quick bite in or order to go. It has a diner feel to it. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I've been here three times and 2/3 my food was made wrong and I was chastised for it. If you ask for a Mexican omelette and was given dry, burnt eggs with a piece of American cheese on top (wish I took a pic to share). I asked for my food to be made correctly which took almost 20 minutes. Next time I ask for eggs OVERMEDIUM which here in CT means WITH YOLK. My eggs came fried hard. I didn't ask for that.
