This is our go to place heading north out of NJ or NYC. Once again, I went with my personal favorite, #25, a Reuben with Pastrami, Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut & Spicy Mustard on Rye. It is a substantial sandwich with a lot of warm pastrami. It's very tasty, though next time I may ask for Russian or Thousand Island dressing instead of mustard. My co-diner opted for a grilled cheese with tomato. She liked it, but didn't love it. Their bathroom is trhough the kitchen downstairs, and I'm not sure they want patrons using it, but they did allow me when I asked. It would be better if they could add one upstairs that's more accessible. This is a very busy place, many order ahead. That said, my longest wait has been about ten minutes. Once again, Mish Mosh deserves a solid four star rating for this visit!

Turkey Scrambled Egg and Pepper Jack Cheese on a toasted buttered Hard Roll

Very good!! I would have given this place 5 stars if they had more bread options to choose from like Croissants and Portuguese rolls but it was delicious. I ordered a turkey scrambled egg and pepper jack cheese on a toasted buttered hard roll. I prefer Portuguese rolls but this was good too. I will be coming back here as I drive by this place sometimes. The service was good and fast. The ambiance was like a pizza place since it is, a few places to sit and some drink coolers and desserts. Overall great experience.

Great food - i had an excellent italian sandwich and a chicken noodle soup. The staff was very friendly. Right outside is a beautiful lake to eat next to as well

Excellent service! Friendly, patient and supportive to describing their bread choices for the right sandwich. We even got a pizza slice to try while we waited and boy was it heavenly, thin crust and equal cheese to sauce ratio. We were pleased to find that on a beautiful spring day the option to sit outside by the lake was perfect for our long drive from PA to MA. The menu did not disappoint! There are plenty of drinks in the cooler, they offer hot coffee, some sweet treats and of course some Italian imported items. We were proud to support this local establishment and enjoy our cultures food. For what was a short pit stop , we immediately felt like a member of the Italian family. Please support this delicious establishment. I adored the kids section of the menu. Creative !

Stopped in because we didn't want to hit a chain and they looked good. Close to the highway and having a solid selection of breakfast and regular sandwiches. Wife got the breakfast sandwich and I got the Italian sub, which had the standard meats and sauces as well as fresh mozzarella. Quick and efficient. One note there is no restroom here.

Great consistent lunch spot for stamford- which is what you want for a deli . They have alot of options for sandwiches and salads. Pretty busy for lunch time- also a good sign.

Won't let customers use their restroom. How do you have a restaurant and no bathrooms for customers? were weirdly rude about it when asked.

We started with some mocktails that were very good and the apple & pear salad that was also good. Our waitress also brought us some complimentary bread and herb butter. All good. But when my entree came it was so disappointing. I ordered the hanger steak cook medium. It was cooked to temp but had to be the chewiest steak Ive ever had. The steak knife wouldnt even cut through it. The knife basically ripped the steak apart. It also came with the largest broccolini I have ever seen. It was basically broccoli but ultimately was under cooked for how large the stalks were. I did try the desserts but they looked good.

We requested a different table since there were plenty available. We shared a wood fired pizza with pepperoni and hot honey and that was excellent. Our entrees (salmon & steak) were just okay. The tiramisu was phenomenal! Service was very slow. It could pass for an upscale place, however the bar tenders were in actual hoodies and sweatpants so it cheapened the vibe substantially. Patrons varied from casual to dressy. I wouldn't make it a point to come back.

The white clam pizza delivers a punch of clams, garlic, and cheese on that signature thin, char-charred New Haven-style crust -- garlicky, salty, and utterly memorable. It's the pie people seek out when they make a pilgrimage to Frank Pepe's, and some say it's the best pizza they've had in years. The clams are generous and fresh-tasting, the crust is crisp yet chewy, and every bite feels like a perfect balance of sea and oven fire. For seafood lovers and adventurous eaters, this is the pie to order -- bold, classic, and worth the hype. Margherita Pizza -- Simple, Fresh, and my son loved it. While the clam pizza steals a lot of the spotlight, the margherita and original tomato pies are also beloved. The margherita is beautifully simple: ripe tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil with that same irresistible coal-oven char on the crust. It's not as brash as the clam pie, but it's an excellent showcase of quality ingredients done right. Red-sauce traditionalists especially appreciate how Pepe's tomato-forward pies complement the zingier clam slice, making them great to share with a group

The clams were fresh, the crust had that signature char and chew, and I didn't miss the tomato sauce for a second. Judging from nearby tables, though, the red pies are every bit as popular. We grabbed seats at the bar, and that turned out to be part of the fun. The bartender was fantastic and even shared the secret to a perfect Whiskey Sour: dry shake the whiskey, lemon juice, and egg white first to build that silky foam, then add ice and shake again. She also noted that aquafaba--the liquid from canned chickpeas--can create a similar effect for vegan or egg-free drinkers. The cocktail arrived beautifully presented with a real Luxardo cherry and was as good as any craft cocktail I've had - which is sayin' something LOL! The place was packed, the music was great, the energy was infectious, and it was obvious the locals genuinely love Sally's. That's always a good sign, and this place more than lived up to the hype.

We still ordered food (terrible decision), waited 20 minutes...now here comes the fun! A group of 5-6 walks in, seemed notably surprised at how full the place is, says that they should have made a reservation, and proceeds to ask for table service. My husband and I were sitting at the end of a six-seater table when we walked in, which we were guided to by the waiter right away because apparently it was available. A few minutes after the group walked in and asks for table service, a guy (supposedly a supervisor) asks us to get up from the table, saying that this table was reserved for a group of five and the waiter made a mistake by telling us it was available. It was clear from the time the group walked in they did not have a reservation. Regardless, we got up, proceeded to walk to a "table" which was a crappy fold up placed only several feet from the stage where live music was being played. Aside from the fact that they clearly just put the table there just to have somewhere to move us, my husband is hard of hearing with sensitive hearing aids, and he can't be seated right next to amplified live music. I told the "supervisor" who moved us this fact, and he said the only other option would be to sit outside. We were moved outside - it was almost about to start pouring, we were seated at a similar crappy fold up table, and no coverage over the table. Lo and behold, our food comes out over 25 min after ordering to this crappy shaky table that's about to get rained on. The kindest employee sitting outside overhears my complaints, tries to remedy the situation by going inside, and then calling people to help. Honestly, he didn't have to do anything, and his kindness is the only good thing I can note about this experience. I guess the guy he was speaking to on the phone didn't realize he was on speaker and I heard him ask the kind employee where the customers (we) were from, and whether we were young or WHITE - which is a separate issue all together! In the end, the waiter came out and apologized (not the person who asked us to move), offered us free cocktails and desserts. But, we just asked for the food to be boxed up so we could leave before it started raining. TLDR: we were kicked out of our table to an outside table in crappy weather for a bigger group that came in after waiting 20+ minutes for our food
