Horrible experience, unlike any other. So to start, apparently they are transitioning from what looked liked a cute sit-down wine bar to a more "casual" feel, as described by the waiter, and it honestly just looks like a crappy dive bar. We still ordered food (terrible decision), waited 20 minutes...now here comes the fun! A group of 5-6 walks in, seemed notably surprised at how full the place is, says that they should have made a reservation, and proceeds to ask for table service. My husband and I were sitting at the end of a six-seater table when we walked in, which we were guided to by the waiter right away because apparently it was available. A few minutes after the group walked in and asks for table service, a guy (supposedly a supervisor) asks us to get up from the table, saying that this table was reserved for a group of five and the waiter made a mistake by telling us it was available. It was clear from the time the group walked in they did not have a reservation. Regardless, we got up, proceeded to walk to a "table" which was a crappy fold up placed only several feet from the stage where live music was being played. Aside from the fact that they clearly just put the table there just to have somewhere to move us, my husband is hard of hearing with sensitive hearing aids, and he can't be seated right next to amplified live music. I told the "supervisor" who moved us this fact, and he said the only other option would be to sit outside. We were moved outside - it was almost about to start pouring, we were seated at a similar crappy fold up table, and no coverage over the table. Lo and behold, our food comes out over 25 min after ordering to this crappy shaky table that's about to get rained on. The kindest employee sitting outside overhears my complaints, tries to remedy the situation by going inside, and then calling people to help. Honestly, he didn't have to do anything, and his kindness is the only good thing I can note about this experience. I guess the guy he was speaking to on the phone didn't realize he was on speaker and I heard him ask the kind employee where the customers (we) were from, and whether we were young or WHITE - which is a separate issue all together! In the end, the waiter came out and apologized (not the person who asked us to move), offered us free cocktails and desserts. But, we just asked for the food to be boxed up so we could leave before it started raining. TLDR: we were kicked out of our table to an outside table in crappy weather for a bigger group that came in after waiting 20+ minutes for our food read more

The baked clams were some of the best I've had. Seasoned to perfection! Everyone at the table wanted more. Actually All of the food was seasoned well. Food was alright. Service was bad and slow and ambiance was a bit weird. Went on a Sunday night so may have been an off night. We were the only ones there until some others came who sat at the bar. So you thought they would have taken good care of us, but no. Started with meatballs and fried mozzarella which were alright. Also had some Caesar salad. The salad was sad, like what you may get at a cheap pizza place or fast food place. The group ordered two salads, but they forgot one so we had to order it again. My husband had the Baked Ziti Siciliano. The menu said to allow 25 minutes for that dish but our food all took 50 minutes and it came out just lukewarm. One of us got the pepperoni pizza but they brought out another pizza instead so they had to swap it out. Another one of us got the Buffalo chicken pizza. I ordered a sausage pizza and asked that they add green peppers but they forgot to add the peppers. Admittedly the pizza was very good and the presentation was nice. Menu was kind of weird though, with some Italian classics plus some funkier, more eclectic Americanized dishes like Philly Cheesesteak pizza. They had a wine list, but really limited selection of wines by the glass. They were playing grunge rock and hip hop so that made for kind of a weird vibe. Had a fantastic experience at T's Wine Bar and Kitchen in Stamford! I met a colleague there at 1 PM on Thursday, not realizing the restaurant is takeout-only until 2 PM. Martino, one of the owners, was incredibly kind and immediately accommodated us for dine-in since we had both traveled. The food was fresh, authentically Italian, and absolutely delicious, and the service was perfect -- attentive yet relaxed so we could catch up at our own pace. Both times we were there the owner, T, was there and chatted with my wife and I. He is extremely sweet with a great sense of humor. He must have been training a few people when we were there. We could hear him giving advice and orders to the staff. He was firm and direct but with passion which makes me believe he holds his staff to the highest standards. Living in both NY and NJ I have a good idea of what pizza is. This pizza was good but too thin for my liking. The flavor was absolutely there. I have been wanting to try T's for the longest time and I'm so glad I finally got to. I came in for lunch one day so it wasn't too crowded. Immediately the atmosphere was cozy and rustic feeling, there was a lot of exposed brick and wood panels. The music they had on was trendy and full of great remixes. Our server was friendly and kept his attention on our table. As for the food, the garlic knots were amazing! They were a great size, packed full of garlic, oil, & parmesan and definitely caught my attention! The menu has many different options with regular pizzas but also some very different but cool ones. The sauce and toppings were great, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the crust. It was very well done and a little too crispy for my liking (almost like biting into a pita chip). The friends I were with said the crust isn't usually like that, and it it typically more fluffy and doughy, so I'm not sure what happened this time. You may not be able to tell from the outside but T's Wine Bar and Kitchen has incredibly wonderful food! T himself is always there and takes time to insure that every diner is being cared for and is thoroughly enjoying their foor. The service is excellent but the food is even better. The calamari is crispy and delicous. The baked clams were heavenly. My wife (who is a great Italian cook in her own right) had the eggplant dinner and said it was better than even she makes. While the ambience may not be first class while they are undergoing some renovations, a dinner at T's is not to be missed. My friends and I were recommended to try T's wine Bar and I am so happy we came. The bar has two sides to it the bar side and the white cloth sit down dinner side. We went to the sit down dinner side and the food was delectable. The setting was calm and cozy. Our server was adorable and very attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed when we needed it. We also got to meet T who came over with recommendations for us as well and he was very kind and very entertaining. We were told to get a bunch of things from the menu and share and that's exactly what we did. We were started off with two types of complimentary bread and I didn't want to stop eating it. I almost didn't leave enough for the table it was so good. We then went on to some appetizers trying the sausage, meatballs and fried mozzarella all of which were atop a tomato sauce to die for. We then ordered the picante pizza with spicy dry sausage, the penne alla vodka with a chicken cutlet and a sausage/pepperoni pizza. The only critique I had was of the penne alla vodka as it was a little dry but the chicken cutlet that came with it was juicy and perfectly cooked. Both pizzas didn't last very long on the table at all. They had perfectly crispy crust and the pizza itself was cheesy and delicious. For dessert we had the tiramisu and T's Zeppoles both were great and a wonderful way to end a delicious feast. read more

I have ordered three times at this restaurant not because I chose to, but because at the time it was accessible for me so I decided to give it a shot, and even after I was highly disappointed on their pizza, I decided to give them another chance (knowing that every kitchen has their own recipes and ways) But the tomato sauce tastes too dry (it looks like they're trying to save on the tomato sauce putting on the pizza so little), same thing for the cheese/mozzarella (3/4 pieces all over the pizza) this is not to be called a pizza, also because the dough reminds more of a focaccia then actually the pizza dough. (I know a lot about Italian cuisine because i was born and raised in Italy, so I've tried a lot of Italian food and I know what it is expected). But today I am not here to talk about the pizza but about the chicken noodle soup. I never have been disappointed more for such a basic recipe. The broth is basically made of oil and grease (u can see the difference in the pictures below) the vegetables look like they were just thrown in it without even chopping them correctly. I decided to save the chicken noodle soup (since I couldn't eat any more bites of it) and get in touch with the restaurant. The person that picked up the phone was rude and unprofessional. The only answer he knew to give was 'we sold three yesterday so I don't know what you are talking about' They couldn't even talk with me properly about the issue, instead they were racing the conversation leaving me unsatisfied and leading me to leave this review. Not my favorite pizza place in Stamford, but since I live close, it is sometimes the most convenient. You can order online via Grubhub/Yelp, which is how I usually do it. My usual scenario; I order while I'm on the train headed to Stamford so that it will be ready by the time I get to Stamford. There have been instances where, after my hour train ride, my order is not ready; this can be extremely frustrating, especially since Grubhub gives you an estimate time your order will be ready and then bumps it up after you order. The interior of the restaurant is small, but cozy. Some booth tables and a small bar area. They have a brick oven where you can watch the guys cook your pizza if you are waiting to pick up. During the summer, they have an outdoor area in the back with seating and games. The owner and employees have always been nice and accommodating to me, although I have seen them boss the cooks around (since it appears they don't know what they're doing). I'm not the biggest fan of their pizza as I've said before. Their red sauce is just not for me; it has a little kick to it. The regular pizza is brick oven style. The Sicilian was very thick but undercooked the one time I got it. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich one time which was pretty good. I wish it was served on a hero roll though instead of a long thin baguette. If you live in harbor point, they give out 10-15% discount if you dine in ONLY. Parking is street parking (free for 2 hours) in and around the front of the restaurant. They also do free delivery but there is a food minimum. read more

This place is a joke. It's the second time I've tried giving this place a chance. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi dinner through DoorDash. I got there 5mins after the app said the order was ready. No one knew what was going on. I showed them my pick up info. I waited another 15 minutes for them to make it on the spot while giving me no information. Once it was ready I looked at the Oder and saw 6 shrimp with 3 small potatoes. I explained I ordered shrimp scampi dinner so it should be shrimp over pasta. Pure confusion. The guy at the bar had me speak with the manager/owner? On the phone. He said they're happy to make what I wanted it would take 15 mins. I cancelled my $30 order on the app. I am annoyed and hungry.
