    Spaghetti Mediterraneo

Capriccio continues to be a hometown favorite! Coming back for the holiday, saw that they completely redid their interior as well which brings a fresh modern look/feel. My family and I went for dinner and we had a great experience. Service was nice and helpful. We started with fried calamari as a starter. For drinks, I got their gin cocktail- so good! They had new plates for food which was refreshing. I ordered their Spaghetti Mediterraneo, it was delicious! Will definitely be coming back!

We came here during lunch and while the food spoke it for order the service was less than desired. The waiter was preoccupied and was fixing a tv with who I can only guess was the owner. While I understand the need to multitask a lunch break or lunch hour should have a rush as we have a limited amount of time. We had to continue to try to get his attention for water or the check. Outside of this inconvenience the rest of the experience was worthwhile. The food was great and I recommend the Bianca pizza. My coworker ordered the Cuban and was very pleased as well.

Quick stop on a cold day for lunch, looking for a little comfort food. GREAT staff. But the food was terrible! How can an italian restaurant not nail a simple chicken parm?

I've been coming here for a few years and have always enjoyed the friendly staff and delicious food. I've had the gluten free pasta with clams in white wine sauce - yum! I've also had the gluten free bruschetta with either smoked salmon or sausage. It was the BEST gluten free pizza dough I've had! Great mix of crunchy and soft dough with deliciously fresh toppings! My husband has had their salmon entree and pizza. Everything is very tasty.

Food and drinks were average. Pasta needed heavy salt and pepper to have any flavor. Spritz felt watered down. Tiramisu and crepe dessert were very good. Cute ambiance.

Do not for any reason this place, food is disgusting, service is awful, there no reason to spend your $ on this place.

Good food and service. Nice atmosphere. Not too expensive. Conveniently located in downtown Stamford.

The space is not all that big, but is cozy (also helps that the front opens up toward the outdoor seating area). Service: The staff are pretty friendly and the service speed is decent. There was a guy with a shirt saying "Big Mike" who seemed to constantly be monitoring the place which was a bit odd but I suppose he was just the boss keeping tabs on his restaurant. Overall: Average quality food but nice Italian-inspired environment. Would recommend if you are in the Stamford area and interested in Italian food.

We got there and sat down immediately. Service was nothing special, but the waiter was pleasant. I ordered the lunch special smash burger, which was very tasty. I also ordered the calamari, which was slightly salty but had great flavor. The pizza was very good as well, but when it came to the dessert (cheesecake and chocolate gelato), they weren't that good and left a bad aftertaste. We asked our waiter if it could be taken off the menu, so he went to get the manager. The manager came to the table and explained why we should like the desserts and that no one complains since the chefs are from Brooklyn and the cheesecake is made in-house. He was very reluctant to take these items off the menu. Everyone has different palates, so why are you talking as if I'm supposed to like it since everyone else does? This didn't sit well with me, and the vibe was off from there. We liked the food, but it wasn't worth the hype around it. Our waiter was still pleasant through it all.
