We had a very lovely date night here last night. They have a cute outdoor patio with turf and various plants and lights. Really pretty. We decided we wanted to sit there but it was full so went to hang at the bar while we waited for a table. Bar had good cocktails, a little too sweet for my taste, and cool vibe. We had the blood orange mojito, aperol spritz, and purple haze. Last one was my favorite. Then we got seated outside. The food was delicious. We had bread and olive oil to start, the corn salad with brussel sprout shavings. I wish there was a little more dressing but my husband said the amount was perfect. Next was the smash burger with truffle fries. So Yum! And the pizza, San Danielle, was a perfect combo of sweet, salty, crispy, soft with red wine to accompany it. Great food with many good food options, so hopefully someone you went with selects something you didn't pick and you can each have a taste or two of something else at the table. This was our first time at the restaurant, and let's say we had a bad taste in our mouth from the experience. The place was always busy, so we wanted to see what the hype was all about. We got there and sat down immediately. Service was nothing special, but the waiter was pleasant. I ordered the lunch special smash burger, which was very tasty. I also ordered the calamari, which was slightly salty but had great flavor. The pizza was very good as well, but when it came to the dessert (cheesecake and chocolate gelato), they weren't that good and left a bad aftertaste. We asked our waiter if it could be taken off the menu, so he went to get the manager. The manager came to the table and explained why we should like the desserts and that no one complains since the chefs are from Brooklyn and the cheesecake is made in-house. He was very reluctant to take these items off the menu. Everyone has different palates, so why are you talking as if I'm supposed to like it since everyone else does? The food at table 104 is very good. It's not high-end cuisine and it's not a place for a special night out, in my opinion, but it is a nice neighborhood restaurant. My visit this time was barred somewhat by the fact that repair work was being done on the roof of the building and the noise level was borderline annoying. Still in normal conditions the noise level here is moderate to tolerable, depending upon how full the restaurant is. In warm weather, the outdoor dining option is great. read more

As a matter of fairness, I never judge a restaurant after just one meal, but this was my third visit to Table 104, and likely my last. After living in Fairfield for over 20 years and trying just about every local spot, I can say with confidence that Table 104 continues to disappoint. The staff are untrained, The portion sizes don't match the prices, and the food very often lacks the flavor or creativity you'd expect at this level. I mean come on Table there are Deli's achieving nicer results I understand why some people enjoy the Table, it's a decent setting for a date or a casual night out with friends drinking, but when it comes to overall quality and value, there are much better options nearby. For example- Try The Wheel: it's on the water, has a more refined menu, great service, and similar pricing, yet delivers a far better dining experience and superb flavorful food. Must I say again ON THE WATER I respect how difficult it is to run a restaurant, but Table 104 really needs to raise the bar on what they're serving. It has all the metrics of cutting corners to make money above excellence. I trust the management will take more pride in what it gives Stamford moving forward and I do wish you guys much success read more

The staff is very accommodating especially to large parties, once I and my family had a party downstairs and the wait staff was very helpful and let us set up the TV to watch the game. I ordered via Uber eats. They sent my order Chitarra Pasta without the fried eggplant and one shriveled piece of mozzarella. But there was enough pasta to choke a horse. So basically I got charged $29 for a bowl of spaghetti. Follow up: Uber Eats stated Table 104 confirmed there was eggplant in the meal as ordered. So I guess the eggplant was of the imagery kind, made to perfection and very delicious so I could not get a refund on my order. I guess I also got a BS for free too! read more

Nice menu and food was good. I would have given it 5 stars but I am sorry to say the the service was not too attentive. There were bread plates on the table but no one put bread out . Asked several people for bread and finally someone brought it out after the entrees were served. Glasses never filled for water. Had to ask and wait for everything except the entree and there were enough servers too. That said , maybe it was an off night . The food was very nice, they have a parking lot and an outdoor seating area with heaters and lights when the weather gets a little warmer . Lots of people standing at the bar. This spot is one of my sister's favorite places to eat, although her daughter (my niece) warned me against eating there. In spite of the warning, on the day in question, we went there anyway and were not at all pleased or satisfied with the service or food. The owners had arranged for a party of at least 40 people to come for a meal after attending a funeral. Unfortunately, we were seated in the room where that party was to be seated. We then were moved to another table near the bar, after already having some wine and bread with olive oil. Understandable, but why seat us in that room in the first place. My friend and I did not want a heavy lunch, so we ordered the "frittata". Mistake!! What we got was no more than a flat 2 egg omelette with almost no filling, covered with some chopped lettuce leaves and nothing resembling home fries or any side. Table 104 is an Italian osteria and wine bar that opened in Stamford, Connecticut in August 2014. It was founded by chef Domenico Iovieno, restaurateur Walter Cappelli and chef/restaurateur Enzo Bruno. Iovieno had formerly worked for the Z Hospitality Group and Barcelona Restaurant Group, Cappelli had formerly worked with the Barcelona Restaurant Group, and Bruno had owned another Stamford Italian restaurant: Madonia. The menu focuses on the cuisine of central Italy and features chef-inspired entrées, rustic wood-fired pizzas, various small plates, and fine Italian wines. Table 104 has accumulated a loyal following since opening. I visited Table 104 for the first time this past weekend along with my wife, son, parents-in-law and sister-in-law. My sister-in-law had previously been there for an event and couldn't say enough good things about the place. I absolutely loved the interior of the space with its reclaimed barn wood and Edison light bulbs. They also had a nice outdoor patio area. To drink, I ordered an Aeperol Spritz and the rest of the table split a bottle of Prosecco. As an appetizer, the table ordered and shared the Original Margherita Pizza which tasted so good that it quickly disappeared. For entrées, my mother-in-law and I both ordered the Boneless Short Rib, my father-in-law had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, my sister-in-law had the Grilled Salmon, my wife had the Fettuccine and my son ordered the Margherita with Bacon Pizza off the kid's menu. My short rib was so nice and tender that the meat melted in my mouth. It came with an excellent selection of baby potatoes and sautéed veggies. My wife let me try some of her pasta which came with jumbo Calabrese Prawns and Asparagus Pesto: delicious! Our son was VERY happy with his pizza! No one heard a peep from him. It has been a few years since we had dinner there. I couldn't remember if the lighting was always dark. I took a picture of the menu to view so it would not disturb others. The candlelight wasn't bright enough so some guests had to flash their cell phones to read the menu. We had salads and some appetizers. For entrees, we had Short Ribs, Grouper, and Crusted Chicken. Four of us walked in around 5:30 on a Saturday night, and the Maitre D' ominously asked us if we had reservations. When we said no, we had a few uncomfortable seconds as he scanned some papers before eventually leading us to a nice corner table in the left-rear corner of the dining room. Within fifteen minutes, the dining room was 100% packed. Table 104 is quite a popular higher end restaurant. They have valet parking and you don't have an option to use it or not. The pasta dishes run around $20 and the meat, chicken, and seafood entrees will cost you between $20 and $30. The entrees do not include salads, but they offer five pretty big shareable salads between $10 and $12. Our dinner started off with a basket of complimentary freshly baked bread served with a hummus spread. We had trouble identifying it (some thought it was a cheese spread and I thought it was mustard based) but our server told us it was hummus. Next we split two of their salads, a Kale Caesar Salad ($10) with a big cheese crouton and a Chop Chop Salad ($10) with Romaine, Radicchio, Goat Cheese Fritters, and a Mustard Vinaigrette $10. The goat cheese fritters were interesting and unique -small fried globes of goat cheese that oozed out when you bit into them. We all went for a pasta for our entrees - Linguine with Clams, Wild Shrimp, Roasted Tomatoes and Seafood Broth for $20, Rigatoni Bolognese with a Ground Meat Ragu and Parmigiano for $18, and a Garganelli (similar to Penne) Boscaiola with House Smoked Sausage, Herbed Mushrooms, and Pecorino cheese for $18. I swapped out the prescribed Bechamel sauce for a terrific Fra Diavlo ($18). My Garganelli was terrific -I loved every bite. Great pasta, delicious sausage and mushrooms, in a zippy slow burning Fra Diavlo sauce. It was perfect! For desserts we went to one of the night's specials for Banana Crepes with vanilla gelato and chocolate sauce, and to the regular menu for an order of three biscottis ($4). No complaints here at all -both dishes were very good. Service was good with lots of water fill ups and a few check-backs, but a little slow on bringing over the dinner check. There are other Italian restaurants out there with larger portions and included salads, but as long as you are comfortable with Table 104's pricing and menu features, you'll have a very enjoyable meal here, just as we did. read more

I have drove by this place a million times but never actually dined there. I finally tried this place for dinner with a few coworkers. I like the set up, it had a very welcoming feel. The food was just okay. None of the group were really impressed with their appetizers or entrees. The service was friendly but very slow. The music was terrible.
