    Penne Arrabbiata
    Danielle F.

We drove by on our way to our hotel and noticed "Bacco's Beer Garden" sign with cute lights umbrellas and picnic tables for outdoor seating. Very confusing when you search it, has the same address, yet you get a fine Italian dining website that's baccoscharleston.com and a weird 800 number... It's kind of misleading because it's actually Nick's Pizza. No wonder I couldn't find the menu online, didn't match the venue. But the food was wonderful nonetheless. The eggplant parm and penne arrabbiata were fantastic. Menus are now downloaded to your phones, not really a fan especially when the layout isn't the greatest you're scrolling and scrolling on your phone with an extensive menu, you forget what was at the top by the time you reach the bottom. All in all a pleasant dining experience. Wait staff was wonderful, but the marketing / branding is super off and confusing.

    Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Not sure how the food was allowed out of the restaurant. My roommate ordered a buffalo chicken pizza, garlic knots and wings. The pizza seemed to have been made nicely, but then it looks like someone dumped a bottle of frank's red hot on it. It was literally dripping in buffalo sauce and was inedible. The garlic knots were leaking oil from the bag they were in. They were completely soaked in olive oil and garlic. The wings were good. This was my first time eating Nicks and apparently the first time in several orders that my roommate received bad food from them, so I'll throw them 2 stars. He's still trying to get a response from seamless on a refund/credit.

Meh. Ok. Not bad. Just nothing special. There ar just better options around. Interesting part of town.

Small Pizza Campagna and Small Arugula Pizza

Been here a few times now and takeout a few times and it's always been amazing! The pizzas are great, we've had the arugula pizza, pizza campagna and the toscana. So far all have been great but the arugula is the best! Salads are also good with a generous portion of added chicken and the wine pours are huge for $7!

Wings with nuclear on them and suicide on the side!

You get out what you put in. Food isn't terrible. You can taste the cheap ingredients. Has a bowling alley food taste to it.

White Clam Pizza -- A Must-Try Legend Many reviews…read moreconsistently rave that Frank Pepe's clam pie lives up to its reputation. The white clam pizza delivers a punch of clams, garlic, and cheese on that signature thin, char-charred New Haven-style crust -- garlicky, salty, and utterly memorable. It's the pie people seek out when they make a pilgrimage to Frank Pepe's, and some say it's the best pizza they've had in years. The clams are generous and fresh-tasting, the crust is crisp yet chewy, and every bite feels like a perfect balance of sea and oven fire. For seafood lovers and adventurous eaters, this is the pie to order -- bold, classic, and worth the hype. Margherita Pizza -- Simple, Fresh, and my son loved it. While the clam pizza steals a lot of the spotlight, the margherita and original tomato pies are also beloved. The margherita is beautifully simple: ripe tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil with that same irresistible coal-oven char on the crust. It's not as brash as the clam pie, but it's an excellent showcase of quality ingredients done right. Red-sauce traditionalists especially appreciate how Pepe's tomato-forward pies complement the zingier clam slice, making them great to share with a group

The clams were fresh, the crust had that signature char and chew, and I didn't miss the tomato sauce for a second. Judging from nearby tables, though, the red pies are every bit as popular. We grabbed seats at the bar, and that turned out to be part of the fun. The bartender was fantastic and even shared the secret to a perfect Whiskey Sour: dry shake the whiskey, lemon juice, and egg white first to build that silky foam, then add ice and shake again. She also noted that aquafaba--the liquid from canned chickpeas--can create a similar effect for vegan or egg-free drinkers. The cocktail arrived beautifully presented with a real Luxardo cherry and was as good as any craft cocktail I've had - which is sayin' something LOL! The place was packed, the music was great, the energy was infectious, and it was obvious the locals genuinely love Sally's. That's always a good sign, and this place more than lived up to the hype.

We still ordered food (terrible decision), waited 20 minutes...now here comes the fun! A group of 5-6 walks in, seemed notably surprised at how full the place is, says that they should have made a reservation, and proceeds to ask for table service. My husband and I were sitting at the end of a six-seater table when we walked in, which we were guided to by the waiter right away because apparently it was available. A few minutes after the group walked in and asks for table service, a guy (supposedly a supervisor) asks us to get up from the table, saying that this table was reserved for a group of five and the waiter made a mistake by telling us it was available. It was clear from the time the group walked in they did not have a reservation. Regardless, we got up, proceeded to walk to a "table" which was a crappy fold up placed only several feet from the stage where live music was being played. Aside from the fact that they clearly just put the table there just to have somewhere to move us, my husband is hard of hearing with sensitive hearing aids, and he can't be seated right next to amplified live music. I told the "supervisor" who moved us this fact, and he said the only other option would be to sit outside. We were moved outside - it was almost about to start pouring, we were seated at a similar crappy fold up table, and no coverage over the table. Lo and behold, our food comes out over 25 min after ordering to this crappy shaky table that's about to get rained on. The kindest employee sitting outside overhears my complaints, tries to remedy the situation by going inside, and then calling people to help. Honestly, he didn't have to do anything, and his kindness is the only good thing I can note about this experience. I guess the guy he was speaking to on the phone didn't realize he was on speaker and I heard him ask the kind employee where the customers (we) were from, and whether we were young or WHITE - which is a separate issue all together! In the end, the waiter came out and apologized (not the person who asked us to move), offered us free cocktails and desserts. But, we just asked for the food to be boxed up so we could leave before it started raining. TLDR: we were kicked out of our table to an outside table in crappy weather for a bigger group that came in after waiting 20+ minutes for our food
