I've been driving by this place for 3 year and knew it was going to be good. I ordered for my office today, and everyone was thrilled. The bread is insanely fresh (my boss said it was almost too good). The sandwiches are huge - perfectly shareable to two people. The order came early. I wish they had direct delivery but will be ordering catering again next week for a client visit. One colleague had the southwest salad and said it was a lot more fresh than a lot of other places around that feel like you are eating a "big batch" salad. This one felt freshly made. read more

Sandwiches contain lukewarm, uncrisp chicken cutlet slathered in too much sauce, not happy with the pricing for the product.

Giving two for service only. Food and coffee were bad. I'm attaching a photo of what the breakfast burrito is advertised to look like, and the one that I actually got. Hint: when the sausage is "finished" before the eggs, odds are you're cooking the eggs way too long. About five minutes too long. Not to mention they were supposed to be scrambled, not fried so hard that they could be used as a weapon. Note that the burrito was also not grilled after it was rolled, which is half of what a breakfast burrito is all about. Pretty much all the cheese was on one side of the tortilla. The guy who made this, needs to be taught how to cook. Sadly, I think he might be the owner or manager. Coffee was so weak that my husband couldn't even drink it. It appears that they use pods, instead of scooping out fresh coffee to make their coffee. So, I'm guessing it's all weak. Do not judge this place based on older photos. Really cr$p way to start off our trip to Norwalk. read more

First of all, amazing service! Ordered Lomo Saltado (chicken and steak) that came with an awesome green sauce fries and rice. They also gave me a free salad with it's dressing that was an great side with the lomo. I can not express how delicious this food was! By the way he stayed open late for me which I can't thank him enough. Highly recommend! read more

I can't say enough good things about this deli. The food is always fresh, delicious, and made with care--whether it's a stacked sandwich, crisp salad, or one of their daily specials. What really sets them apart is their delivery: it's fast, reliable, and the food always arrives just as good as if I were dining in. The staff especially the owner Gonzo, is friendly and professional, and they clearly care about their customers. It's my go-to spot when I want something tasty and convenient. They have catered many of our large events and handled them with ease! Highly recommend supporting this local gem! read more

Be careful. If you're ordering here pay close attention. I ordered a breakfast burrito. The kid who made it was cooking bacon, handing raw bacon with gloves. He then started making my burrito with the gloves he was handling the bacon with (not to mention opening fridge, etc). I told him you're not supposed to use the same gloves that you're handling bacon with when preparing someone's food. He said "okay" but seemed annoyed. Took of gloves to start over and told his coworker "he didnt like that I was using the same gloves". I was like no man it's not about me "not liking" it. These are common sense safety rules to not put your customers in the hospital. I never leave bad reviews, but be careful with this place. The lady and older guy seem nice enough, but no chance I'll be back here again. *Edit - while he remade my wrap without gloves I just realized he used the same spatula he was using when handling raw bacon, so really made no difference. If I get sick, we're going to have a problem. Avoid read more

Its too bad. Neat little store, good location. 14.95 for a wedge because I asked for veggies. Doesn't everyone else see "9.95 for Corned Beef Wedge" and assume some veggies get thrown in for that price? Handful of veggies equals an additional 50% to cost? Sorry guys, you lost me. read more

I highly recommend this spot and will visit quite often. Found it while on the job. Great sandwiches, great coffee and great staff! Trifecta! read more

Wow I'm surprised that no one has reviewed this yet- it was crowded during Fri lunch time. Convieniently located but parking is a hassle as the lot is tiny & challenging to maneuver an easy in/out. Broad selection/combo of sandwich/wedges. Boars Head meats & cheeses. All toppings are extra like: roasted peppers, lettuce, tomatoe, any cheese, hot peppers, onions etc. They serve hot & cold options: chicken cutlet, rice, sausage & peppers, Philly cheese steak, eggplant parm, roast pork w gravy. Breakfast: egg, cheese & any of the following: bacon, pastrami, peppers, home fries, sausage etc. Soup: lentil, Cream of broccoli, chowder etc. Salads: Greek, tuna fish , egg, potatoe, macaroni etc. Also, deep river, cape cod & wise chips, soda, hot coffee, water etc. Catering too! Service was nice. My sandwich was fresh but lacked flavor. It was just average. But I will try again. read more

Awesome place to eat the two people working there were super nice. I highly recommend getting the Salsberry steak it was a 10 out of 10. Anybody that gave this deli under three stars is fake news. Thanks people at the corner deli keep up the great work . read more

They carry a wonderful ice cream (gelato) from Italy - have not seen it elsewhere. Would probably be a good deli if I ate meat, but I don't so the choices are very limited. read more

Anything deli sounds good to me, but this place knocked it out of the park. My boyfriend and I wake up craving meats, and they deliver both literally and figuratively. They know proportions on a sandwich like nobody's business and their bread is never the same but always the freshest and that is charming AF. We all know fresh bread can make or break and sandwich. - clearly they were the reason that sentiment was ever stated, Panera who? I've never been disappointed and I've gotten the pickiest eater (who is 40) to go to ICD (yes it's now a household acronym) whenever. It started at lunch, it gets better. Their breakfast, we didn't think anyone could top Bagel King or diner bacon. WAIT NOT, They did it. Delicious, they cooked previously referenced picky old child's egg perfectly over medium, a skill I have yet to refine. Chefs kiss, in love. read more

Ordered thru uber eats and spent over $30 on food for my office. Before ordering i noticed that when you spend $30 your suppose to receive something FREE. I called to inquire about this deal and the girl who answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about and put her boss on the phone who let me know when you place the order it will come up. I submitted the order thru uber eats and noticed that nothing came up about receiving something after you spend over $30. I called back the same girl answered and put the phone down so I could hear her whole conversation her words exactly were "she's calling again! I dont know what she wants something free here you talk to her" her boss who spoke to me before got back on the phone and I explained why I was calling back. He didnt know what to say on why nothing got added to the uber order. I told him to please tell the girl who answered the phone that I am so sorry that I bothered her by calling and asking questions. We received our order at the office but nothing was included in our order for FREE Like advertised. The food was great but would never use them again because she should have to feel like your bothering someone and hear them talk so nasty about you while your on the phone to just ask a question. And NO THEE HAD THE ANSWER. TO THE QUESTION read more

Great coffee and a breakfast sandwich

I personally think they're food is okay but they're definitely overpriced... They charge extra for just about every topping and they also charge extra if you're paying with a debit/credit card if it's not a minimum of $10... If you're going during lunch and all you have is a debit card for a $6.99 sandwich you WILL be paying extra that you may not want to spend... As far as their customer service, I think it's also okay with the exception of the taller girl with the dark hair who seems to be miserable... I don't understand it... Where's your customer service? Don't you value your daily customers??? read more

No thanks. A grinder, ice tea & chips ended up being $17 and change because I was nickel & dimed for ALL elements of my sandwich. Seriously, lettuce, tomato, mayo, peppers...ALL extra? No thanks. read more

Super friendly staff and very convenient location. This is my goto place when I don't have time to make breakfast. Very fresh ingredients and good portion sizes. I call ahead and it's usually waiting for me. Try their egg white wrap with Swiss and bacon. yummy read more

The food here is okay. Not many turkey options but I assume I could build my own. Most of their pre-conceived sandwiches were of the chicken or roast beef variety (I got a roast beef one). The food seemed to be of a reasonable quality, but the "kitchen" seemed to consist of a cutting board and a generic toaster oven. There's probably a grill somewhere for some of their food but otherwise it's a really basic place. I wouldn't have a problem coming back here, but it's not my first choice by any means. read more

I love this place! The Italian combo is delish, bread is so fresh!!! ..and they are so friendly and personable!

A pretty run of the mill deli. They have a pretty good selection for sandwiches and some other hot offerings. For the most part though there isn't anything they offer that you couldn't just make yourself at home. read more

Nice place to grab an early bite, the sandwiches are ok, coffee is a little watered down, worried about their cleanliness tho, hair not covered and the handling of food and money without wearing gloves maybe its just me but i find that DISGUSTING..Will not eat there again.. read more
