Hands down one of the BEST SPOTS TO EXIST IN CONNECTICUT! They're not your typical pizza shop - offering creative flavors and dishes, you'll keep coming back for me. At night they turn into a Supper Club where you can enjoy a 7 course menu, unlimited beer, wine, and soda for $40! In this economy, that's a deal to jump on! Their pizza is phenomenal, it's crispy, it's flavorful, and the toppings go crazy. From their Vodka Pastina, Pancakes Tres Leches, Buffalo Wings, Chopped House Salad, Crust Issues seriously hits the spot every. single. time. the owner is also amazing and treats you like family.

This place has a nice vibe. Clean and cool decor. The service was great. Some nice dudes working the kitchen. My husband had the chicken scarp and he said it was good. It was served on an old school metal lunch tray. Never seen that but it's an interesting presentation. I got a cheese pizza and to be honest, it wasn't my thing. It reminded me of another place that you have to eat the pizza fast or it turns to rubber when it's cooled down. The taste was decent though. It's definitely a unique place.

Normally I do not follow the hype because 8 times out of 10, the hype is a lie. But I can say that Crust Issues is completely worth the hype!! I would absolutely recommend. Was in CT visiting family and made it a point to stop by before going back to NY. Crust Issues is on a main Street and located in a small plaza. The inside is cute and gives a sports bar vibe. There are funny, creative photos all over the place to add to the charisma. The person taking our order was so friendly and happy to help us decide what to order. We ordered a pepperoni pie and the creamy pastina. The pizza is square and cut into 6 slices. Hands down one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The crust is crunchy, buttery and rich in flavor. The sauce to cheese ratio is perfect. Every bite was better than the last. The pastina was so fun to eat. It's similar to couscous but in a creamy pasta sauce.. had a cheese pull with spoonful. I can't wait to go back and try other pies. Absolutely delish!!

Crust issues was looking like it needed me to visit for a while, and glad we did. We shared a cheese pizza, a chicken cutlet with vodka sauce, and some penne vodka, the cutlet was superior! Got a self pour glass of wine and sat under cool art breezy decor while jamming to a great restaurant playlist. Parking was a bit tough. You clean up after yourself cafeteria style, order at the counter and food is brought to your table.

Cute place. Hubby loved the atmosphere especially since a football game was playing. Thin crust pizza. Thought there would be more toppings on the supreme pizza though. Kids enjoyed the cheese pizza. Meatballs were a bit $$ for what we got. They have wine and beer available as well.

The first thing you need to know, is that CT Food Bloggers are crazy for Crust Issues. I'm part of that community and I'm impressed with how many of them love Crust Issues. Some of that love seems to come from periodic creative multi-course prix fixe meals with wings, adult Spaghetti O's and other stuff. I haven't been so I'm not the best person to describe them. People are also nuts about Crust Issue's creative stuffed pizza sandwiches (chopped Italian, etc.), which look really good btw. I had a completely different type of experience, and maybe you should angle for the experience described above. I've wanted to try Crust Issues because of all the buzz, but I live about an hour away. I realized that I would be driving near Crust Issues on my way to calling hours in Stamford. So my son and I ordered two individual sized pizzas by phone and then we ate those pizzas quickly when we arrived. Service was very friendly. The small dining room was decked out for the holidays. Cool place and cool people for sure. We ordered one pepperoni pizza and one Loaded Potato Pizza. Crust Issues calls their pizza "New England Style". I've never had anything quite like it. I'd call it a Bar Pizza meets shallow pan Detroit Style. The pizza is cooked in a rectangular pan and gets crispy, but the pizza itself is very thin. The crust is a bit airy. This is a total style preference thing. You may love this style of pizza. It's not my favorite style. I prefer a chewier more traditional style of crust. I prefer more sauce and stuff on top than this style of crust can support. I prefer cheese that is more stretchy than well done. The pepperoni were cut into smaller pieces from the normal rounds. I respect that Crust Issues goes their own direction, but I didn't totally connect with their style of pizza. This a 4 Star review. I suspect that their creative multi course dinner would be a better fit for me, but sometimes, I just gotta order the pizza.

Supper club was amazing. Unlimited beer and wine. Every course had a unique idea and the FLAVORS!! I went with my partner, and there was so much left over, we brought a huge doggie bag home. 10/10

We had a wonderful experience at Crust issues for their 7-course meal. I have done it twice so far and each time is better than the last! The restaurant was wonderfully decorated for Christmas the last time we were there. Highly recommend this restaurant

We came for Supper Club (my first time, my friend's second time). We both loved the idea of it - basically an Italian-style omakase. We started off with a slice of pizza each, then received a couple wings each. After that we got "Italian miso soup", which was a garlicky soup with a piece of bread. We had a couple sharing dishes up next - first was creamy ranch pastina (complete with cool ranch Doritos crumbled on top). Next we shared Alfredo pasta with bacon. For the 'main entree', we each got a good-sized chicken cutlet and some fried pieces of potato to share and a side salad. Finally, we finished with tres leches panettone cake for dessert. Overall, the food was great and the service was impressively efficient - serving numerous plates with the perfect amount of time between each. The seating arrangement was a little quirky but they really do as much as the can in the space. We went in December and it was decorated exceptionally well for Christmas. Would certainly recommend Supper Club, it's great for a date night, friends, or even a family outing

I like the rotational menu concept here to keep things fresh all the time. They have some interesting flavor combo ideas, like spicy wings with a side of watermelon. I really liked the spaghetti-o's the most because the lemon vodka sauce was absolutely delish. I wasn't expecting that since I typically don't like them from a can and thought these would taste like them, but nope, they're their own thing and I would come here just for those. The pizza of the week we had I kind of wanted to chop up and use as crotons and do like a crouton pizza based on the flavoring. Overall a fun & kitschy vibe, I love the bathroom decor too with the recipe pages stuck to the walls.

This pizza was delicious! We ordered the baked potato pizza and loved it. The employees are so friendly and personable, and they were more than happy to customize our pizza to fit our vegetarian needs. We really appreciated the great service and accommodating staff, can't wait to come back!

Crust Issues has been on my bucket list and I finally made it. Crust Issues is a small establishment in a small plaza. They serve Pizza, pasta dishes, sandwiches, and they even have a prix fixe menu that you can order from. The establishment does have takeout and it's really a self-serve restaurant. You put your order in at the register and then you sit down. The food is brought up by the staff and you throw away your own items. My daughter and I ordered a pizza with Pepperoni and an order of Garlic Knots. The Garlic Knots were huge and they had a nice amount of garlic and butter coating the Garlic Knots. Honestly, you can eat the Garlic Knots and a Salad and you would be full. I would say in my opinion that the Garlic Knots are too thick for my liking but that just my take. Now, let's get to the Pizza. I did have an issue with my crush since it's not a traditional style pizza. It's more of a Detroit style pizza. I like pizza crust to be crispy all the way through but the Pizza was good. The sauce had a sweet flavor but very flavorful. I don't know what kind of cheese they use but it gave the pizza some zest. It was not a powerful cheese but it just gives you a small punch in your mouth, which was good. Overall it was a good Pizza. The customer service was good and the owner is very friendly and outgoing. I would recommend to come here.

Instagram menu item Pepperoni topped Italian chopped combo
    Pam H.

We saw an Instagram post and had to try it! The interior is really well done with dark and wood tones. We were immediately greeted and given a warm welcome and assistance with the menu and off menu items on Instagram. We saw the pepperoni topped Italian combo chopped sandwich on Instagram so we had to try that - it was really good, only thing I would say is the oregano and seasoning mix they sprinkle on top is a little too strong. It's been hours and I still can't get the taste out. The chopped Italian inside is so good though- I would eat it on a regular hero roll. The mozzarella sticks were huge - these were more like mozz hunks than sticks, and they were melty and crispy and delish. The sandwich was huge so we shared it and still couldn't finish it all. I definitely want to come back and try other things because it all looked so good

My mom had insisted on going here on Mother's Day. Fortunately, their Connecticut location was open and we went. Bianca, I believe as a manager and was super accommodating with my mom's 100 questions haha. We started with one of the salads and the brussels sprouts. Both were great, but the brussels sprouts stood out to me. As for the pizza, we got the Margherita, Rustic, & Bayside. All of them were great, but the Bayside had to be my favorite. The pistachio pesto and goat cheese went very well together. The Rustic was a close runner up- mushrooms and truffle oil are always a match made in heaven. The Margherita was a classic but with the style of super thin, almost cracker-thin pizza I preferred the other two more. All in all, my family and I would definitely make it out to Norwalk again just for this place (& we live in Long Island). Thanks Bianca for making my Mom's day!
