Very quick delivery service, although not what I expected for a Margherita Pizza. Basically it was just cheese (maaaaybe mozzarella?) on the dough/crust and some sliced tomatoes on top. My daughter and I been coming here for many years. She lived the puzzle and me the baked ziti. She's now married, expecting and living in TX. I'm still in the area, after Covid I came alone and was surprised to see them doing take out only... went back again 2024 and still, just take out? Read the reviews, this is NOT Italian pizza. If you like Italian pizza, this isn't going to be the place for you. I have never seen/eaten such a paper-thin calzone in my entire life. Look at the photos. The sauce had too much spice, not hot, but spice that I didn't enjoy. This just isn't my style of food, nothing worked for me, but everyone had different tastes. read more

This food is so stinking good. I have been eating here since I was young. Now as an adult they are my substitute for cooking. I eat lunch and/or dinner here. All thru Covid this food made me feel good. Yesterday I deviated from my usual and got a meatball grinder. Brought a tear to my eye it was so good. My usual is salads or sausage pizza. Love the sausage pizza because it's not chunks that fall off but ground and sprinkled over the whole pizza. I love sausage and I get to taste it with every bite! Been comming here for over 30 years and this is hands down the best Greek style pizza I have ever had. The owners and employees are very nice and all hard working. I've tried most of the items on the menu and everything is good but my favorite is the calzones, they are different than any calzone you can get but oncw you try it you will never buy a calzone anywhere else. read more

Came here to get takeout today for lunch because my boyfriend just moved down the street. I have been here a few times and the calzones are awesome! Probably the best calzones ive had anywhere in Norwalk. The pizza is good too, nice amount of cheese, sauce, and the crust is just right! Crispy and delicious. The workers here are friendly and gave us some cups and plates when we told them we didnt have any right now because of the move. The parking here is kind of bad but you can usually get a spot down the street if need be. The inside is super nice and clean with high ceilings and flowers placed on every table. I swear I wish I can bring one of these franchises and move them all around the country wherever I go. Greek Pizza is the Truth.com! The cheese, the dough, the sauce, the seasonings... Off the chain. They deliver too - very on point. Eat there or eat out but you will eat well! Right in the middle of East norwalk on the flip side of the railroad of the train station, East Ave is a top 5 pie in this town. The calzones are very tasty as well as other entrees on the menu. Hhhhmmmm, I don't want to dis these people as the place is welcoming and cozy and the ingredients are fresh but I'm simply not a "Greek-Italian" girl. I'm an "Italian-Italian" girl. If I'm going to eat Italian food, I want it to come from an authentic Italian place. If I want to eat Greek food, I will go to a Greek restaurant and have dolmas, hummus, pita, etc. My late foodie cousin Alan was more vociferous about the issue..."I f*n hate Greek- Italian food. WTF would I want a Greek pizza when I can go to New Haven and have the real thing." lol...no disrespect at all. East Avenue was highly recommended to me by a local who loves the thicker style Greek pizza. I do give them 5 stars for piling on the garlic like I asked. I remember biting into east avenues pizza when i was ten years old at my birthday they hosted at their old location. Nothing could be so good. Nothing could be so right. Can pizza be the one for me? Could it guide me? Could i marry it? But alas, the flavor was too good and disappeared into my metabolism before i could say "thank you, lover" Fast forward 20 years, after countless orders, and im still chasing that first high. That first bite. the flavor rolls through the years....delicious through and through. This is the place. This is the pizza. Have you had pizza before? No, you haven't. Until this pizza. My pizza is usually amazing but this time I was not happy at all due to it being so burned it gave it such a nasty taste . Keep in mind: this is Greek-style Italian food. If you want authentic Italian-style Italian, you won't find it here. That being said, their pizza is fabulous! It's a cross between Chicago style and NY style: thick (but not too thick) crispy crust, flavorful sauce, plenty of cheese and always cooked to perfection. I adore this pizza! The cheeseburger deluxe is another favorite of mine. Thin cheeseburger, beautifully seasoned served with a nice sized portion of crispy fries and salad. Always a winner! The chicken parm with penne is fabulous as well. Get it if you're going to dine-in, not to go. Dine-in comes fresh out of the oven oozing with cheese, and piping hot! They cut the chicken up before putting it over the pasta, covering it with cheese, then baking it in their pizza oven on a unique ceramic serving dish. Comes with a side salad - the dressing is a winner. The people who run the place are friendly and always present, and the place is immaculate. My only complaint would be the lack of parking - street only, which can be very difficult to find. read more

I have eaten here multiple times! People are nice, polite & get every order I made with them correct. Price is decent I guess for a pizza shop. Pizza is great!!!!! I have had lots of pizza in New York & I must say yes I would definitely recommend this place. For take out or eat in it's good! Small inside but it works! The only thing that bugs me with the place is the size of the pie. Whenever I order a large pie it is not really large more of a medium size. So I have to order 2 pies instead of 1. I kind of find that annoying but it may be a marketing thing. Great place to get a slice from! read more

I cant speak for the rest of the menu, but this is exceptional pizza. The flavors are dramatically noticeable and the crust is crunchy throughout. The crust is also flavored which was very interesting and reaching the end of the pizza was not disappointing because how good this crust was. She was so kind and walked us through some of the best menu items since she knew it was our first time. It's clear that there's a lot of regulars that dine here and it's easy to see why. The food came out quickly, and everything was excellent! The ribs were cooked perfectly, and the pumpkin ravioli was a nice special for the fall. They told us they recently put pizza back on their menu, and we were glad they did because the lasagna pizza was fantastic! Generous portions all made with fresh ingredients. We're so glad to know about this place and will be recommending it to others!

My mom had insisted on going here on Mother's Day. Fortunately, their Connecticut location was open and we went. Bianca, I believe as a manager and was super accommodating with my mom's 100 questions haha. We started with one of the salads and the brussels sprouts. Both were great, but the brussels sprouts stood out to me. As for the pizza, we got the Margherita, Rustic, & Bayside. All of them were great, but the Bayside had to be my favorite. The pistachio pesto and goat cheese went very well together. The Rustic was a close runner up- mushrooms and truffle oil are always a match made in heaven. The Margherita was a classic but with the style of super thin, almost cracker-thin pizza I preferred the other two more. The pizza crust is very thin and crunchy good and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Hailey was very welcoming and friendly. She was an exceptional hostess. The establishment also has a bar area with televisions to enjoy your visit. This is a place that I highly recommend for good food and great service.
