Loved this place. We actually were going to a different restaurant on the same street but it was closed so we decided to have lunch here. I am so glad we did. We went on a Saturday so they were serving brunch, I didn't necessarily want brunch so I ordered from the small plates portion of the menu while my girlfriend ordered from the brunch side. My girlfriend ordered the waffles and sausage and I had the chicken Scapariello with a side of broccoli rabe. Both meals were delicious, a perfect portion size. The waffle was served with was served with a small scoop of ice cream. My chicken dish was so tasty, it contained chicken, sausage, peppers with a little kick added as well. The broccoli rabe was delicious as well. I can definitely see myself coming back to this place again.

You've heard the saying "Good things come in little packages."? Well, this aptly describes Romanacci II It's tiny but packs the quality and flavor into its little niche. Beautiful fresh cannoli shells (empty) displayed along side 1/2 dozen different oblong pizzas like pepperoni, veggie, meat lovers, & margarita. "Slices"served as rectangles on wooden boards. The mozzarella w hot oil was delicious. Fast, easy & very tasty. 2 person bistro tables offer the perfect stop for a fast lunch or for Commuters as it is adjacent to the Saugutuck train station. The space bleeds into the Winfield Coffee shop & a shared equally tiny restroom.

Variety of wines by glass that pair well with all dishes. My favorite dish is broccoli rabe with sausage and cavatelli.

Skinny Pines aims to keep its pies as local as possible, buying all its produce and many of their key ingredients from farms in Connecticut and New York. In fact, Borofsky and his truck are headquartered in Easton, just less than five miles from Sport Hill Farm, where they are regular customers. The dough is made from hard red winter wheat, a 100% whole wheat grain milled to 00, sourced from Wild Hive Farm and Bakery in Clinton Corners, New York. The dough itself is treated to a 12-hour cold fermentation before it's left to rise for its weekly market appearance. This whole wheat dough is used on each and every Skinny Pines pie. The combination of finely ground 00 whole wheat flour and the wood-fired oven creates a light and airy crust, with just a hint of pleasant nuttiness. The Bianca is my recent pie pick, a white kalamata olive and rosemary pizza. Borofsky's toppings change seasonally, so check back often for his seasonal pie offerings and call ahead for their location. A locavore pizza truck with an eye for organic quality ingredients, don't miss Skinny Pines at the Westport Farmers' Markets!

We had an event planned yesterday, 5/6/21 for our employees; 55 people were expecting a pizza truck lunch. At 4:20pm the evening before the event, I received an email from Jeff saying he had 2 problems and would not be able to do the event. Zero notice and no other options. Just, sorry. Just thought you might want to know this because hiring a reliable caterer is typically the most important quality if you are hosting any kind of event. I do not recommend. Several groups of bread, olive oil and olives placed on our large table were evenly distributed so there was not a lot of passing around. The salad was lightly dressed, flavorful and nicely complimented with thin slices of parmesean cheese. The food is as close to homemade as you can imagine. The eggplant parm was not heavy and delicious. The pasta primavera was a favorite among many. Lots of veggies with a delicate cream sauce. My sister and I had the Parpardelle. So delicious! Not a heavy meat sauce but rather small pieces of thin sausage complimented with hearty mushrooms and peas. The parpardelle was a wide very thin pasta making this dish extra delicious. We had our party of 13 guests in the rear private room which is behind a lovely iron gated archway The decor is so inviting. This was our second year having our gathering at via Sforza. Our plan had always been to have a different restaurant each year as in the past. However, everyone in attendance requested we not change the venue. It's been a wonderful find! Thank you Gianni for your attention to detail and making this event so special!

I recently got Pappardelle Al Forno (a whopping $30) substituting chicken for sausage and it was an insult: literally half the portion it used to be, with a sprinkling of approximately 8 chicken strips each the size of one strand of shredded carrot. The pappardelle noodles themselves were fine, but the delicateness in the sauce is now heavy and overpowering. Also got the Cacio et Peppe ($28). The portion was what most restaurants would call a Kids Meal. And it was extremely salty. Far superior Cacio et Peppe at Zucca down the road, and you get the exact same portion at their happy hour for $10, or an actual entree portion that's more than twice the size for $22. Sad. After 26+ years of loving Via Sforza, we won't be back.

Our servers were patient and attentive. Our wines were great (a Prosecco and a smooth Portuguese red). We decided to share an assortment of tapas, one coca and one salad. Many of the dishes come with tasty bread to dip into whatever sauces there are. Here's what we had: Balela Salad: very good Pulpo A La Gallega: tender octopus. I loved this Camarones Al Ajillo: this was a bit dull Burrata Stuffed Eggplant: wife loved this Jamon Iberico: put the cold red sauce on the bread and then the ham on top...pretty good Coca Valenciana: i loved this If there was one negative it was that the food was a bit too salty but that could have just been the assortment of what we ordered. If we had to do it again, we'd order one less tapas and save room for dessert. I wanted to try the AMARO FLOATER SFUMATO. Overall, a nice experience here.
