I gave 5 stars because the pizza was very, very nice, staff was friendly and ordering was simple and easy to get in and out of the place. Place is also very clean. Can't ask for much more in Norwalk. I had the veggie delight pizza with no cheese. The sauce is wonderful. Not too spicy or too sweet. No overpowering flavors of basil, garlic or onion in the sauce. Just An absolute wonderful pizza sauce. Not too greasy either. Incredible pizza. They have great potential here, I would say it's top 3 pizza places in Norwalk for me. Drove by this place and decided to get a pie togo. I typically judge a place on its plain cheese pie and this place did not disappoint. The crust is thin and crunchy, not like some places that do thin crust and end up giving you slices you can't pick up or fold. THE SAUCE WAS HEAVENLY!!!!! I mean whats pizza if the sauce is isn't good? The interior is hip, modern, and CLEAN. Not only are their pies better than anyone in the area, they beat them on price too! I ordered delivery from Classica several weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon. I got a salad, which I did not want chicken on, and told the young lady this, but got chicken on it anyway. I also ordered the Chicken Balsamic entree. Now, I have had this dish from other places, and NEVER have I seen it made this way. Several pieces of breaded chicken with mozzarella and tomato on top. And a cup of balsamic dressing on the side! Pardon me, but isn't the sauce part of the dish? Isn't it supposed to be IN the sauce, like the Marsala? If I had wanted dry chicken cutlets with tomato and mozzarella I would have just stuck with a salad. Also, no side of bread came with the entree or salad. I've never ordered Italian food where no bread comes with it. Very disappointing on all counts. Maybe their pizza is the best thing here. read more

I was exicited about all of the comments that it was new york pizza. We decided to try it...we ordered a pie for delivery. It was good but not great. The crust was too crunchy and we wanted more flavor. I am planning to stop in for a slice to see if maybe we got a pie that was in a little too long. read more

This place looks completely different under the new name and owners. My mom owned a store right around the corner and I remember that spot being a little run down. I really like the renovations they made. I had a small clam pizza because I love seafood and it was on point. My girlfriend had a blt sandwich, she was pleasantly surprised with how big it was. This is a great new pizza restaurant. Authentic recipes, family run and great quality. Every aspect of our service was outstanding - they were so enthusiastic, explained all the pies to us, helped us figure out we wanted, brought it right over and made sure we were happy. Excellent pizza & service. Particularly liked the Grandma's Sicilian slice--thin with tasty marinara. Their standard Sicilian is also good. Staff were kind enough to make me a side salad, which is not on the menu. (They charged me $4.95, and it was a beautiful, fresh salad & surprisingly big.) Be aware this is a pizza joint, nicer looking than most but no atmosphere to speak of, & loud when kids are present. But the food & friendly service left me perfectly happy. This was my first time eating Classica Pizza. The pizza was delicious, however it took 1 hr 40 minutes to be delivered, so the pizza was cold. To be fair, it was Friday night and they warned us it could be 1 hr and 15 minutes for delivery, but it was well past that and a cold pizza is never good. We took the time to heat up the pizza and it was really good, so I can only imagine how it tastes fresh and hot. We also ordered a salad with grilled chicken, but there were two bites of chicken on the salad. The pizza was really good, so I'd love to rate this higher, but can't justify it after that experience. Will consider giving it one more chance. read more

Have passed here several times and decided to stop...Glad we did as the Pizza was as we like it...thin crust and tasty. We decided to eat in rather than take out and the service was great. We had a wonderful avocado salad with Bleu Cheese dressing and a medium veggie pizza...both were excellent. The medium is larger than you get in most place and we ended up taking some of it home. The pizza was covered with a variety of veggies. The decor is simple nd the space is small but they seemed to have a great take out going on. If they add beer and wine I am guessing more people would eat in! Will definitely return.. read more

My fiancé and I went there for lunch today and we got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and a Small pizza. Both were awesome. The crust was so light, but yet very crispy and durable. Inside is very nicely done with subway tile, nice clean and classic feel. Will be back. read more

Awesome meal. Party of 7 and we had pizza and a few dinners. The eggplant manicotti was twice the size than expected. The person who ordered it noticed they deep fried the eggplant then put it together before baking. Most places just pull the dish out of the frig and then bake it. Incredible. Pizza was great, nicely thin but not like cardboard, sauce seasoned right, not too much cheese. They have large TVs, and the air was just right considering it was hot outside. read more

Ordered here twice now..The pizza is excellent! Nice thin crust and very tasty. We also ordered an eggplant parm grinder which wasn't desirable. The eggplant was mushy and therefore the grinder was pretty soggy as a whole. We'll definitely order the pizza again though! read more

New York style pizza? OK no joke. Being a Bronx girl my eyebrow went up seeing their claim of N.Y. style pizza, phffff, we'll see. Nothing in CT is even close. Classica delivered tonite, in every sense. The woman taking the order was lovely and articulate on the phone, nice job. The pizza arrived HOT. I opened the box: not too much cheese, pulled away nice, sauce and spices: delish. The sauce and spice tasted similar to the Bronx pie I know well. I actually closed my eyes and went back in time, you cannot fake that taste. The sausage: the way we like, not too thick, a bit spicy, not skimpy, but not overloaded so you can experience the rest of the pie. But... the CRUST, the crust made it for me. The first slice: a bit of bubbles (love) but not too doughy and saltiness. The crust had just the right amount of thickness and salty/chewiness.. brought me back to the Bronx slices, minus the dripping oil (love the dripping oil but my heart is better off without). Before the second and third slices (couldn't stop) I paused to open my best bottle of red to enhance the Classica experience. I have been in CT for many years and experienced all pizzas here, thin crust, decent pizza, way too thick crust, unsatisfying sauces, New Haven Pizza is good. However, nothing has ever satisfied me, until Classica. Thank you from a Bronx native who has made Norwalk our home. I have no idea who works there or owns Classica.
