Pizza is pretty tasty, I do agree with previous Yelper that crust is not very good. Toppings were tasty and of good quality. For the size of the slices, prices are too high. $3.75 for a slice with a topping and its not big, that's a disappointment. It's worth checking out if you're nearby, but was a bit let down after seeing a lot of 4 & 5 star reviews. Oh and the bathroom door lock didn't work, lots of fun walking in on somebody and then the same thing happening to me when I'm in there a few minutes later. read more

This is my go to place for pizza delivery. We enjoy the style of pizza and there are a wide variety of specialty pizza options. I am particularly fond of their Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. I have been struggling to find a chicken bacon ranch pizza I liked as much as the ones back in my college town and this one is just as good. Wish the large size pizza was a smidge bigger, you can find larger sized pies around town but I think Classica's quality is better. I've also ordered a number of non pizza dishes from Classica as well. My favorite apps are the Mac & Cheese Bites (essentially just fried mac & cheese triangles) and Pizza Fritta. The Pizza Fritta is fried pizza dough with parmesan cheese and marinara. I can't explain why it is SO good but it just is! The wings here aren't my favorite, I think you can get meatier wings from other places. Caesar salad is delicious, definitely order it with grilled chicken. I use Classica for takeout or delivery so I haven't eaten there but it is a nice centrally located place with parking. Every time I have been in to pick up an order the place is always clean and the employees are all friendly. Classica is on Grub Hub (which is awesome) and the delivery almost always shows up 15-20 minutes early and everything is hot. No complaints with this go to pizzeria! read more

I went there on opening day because they had a big sign that said "Come Try a Free Slice" as an introductory offer. So I decided to try it. There was ONE customer who was on line and being helped. Since it was a grand opening, I kept waiting to be greeted with a friendly "welcome," or at least an acknowledgement that I was there. It never came! After about 10 minutes, I started to walk to the door slowly, hoping to finally be greeted. Nope. Haven't been back since. Only writing a review now because a friend of mine (also African American) just told me she had the same experience earlier this year. It was my first time ordering from Classica. I called to place an order and asked the young man on the phone a bunch of questions because I was unsure of which pizza I wanted. I ask him what his favorite pizza was and what he recommended. He told me to get the Lasagna pizza and let me tell you it was amazing and delicious!!! Classica Pizza has definitely earned this rating bump to five stars. Each experience since the first has been really exceptional. Service (phone and delivery person) is always efficient and friendly. Food is fresh and arrives early or on time. Considerable value given the quality for the price. Our usual order has become a salad (house + lemon vinaigrette or Classica + balsamic) and a large pizza. As I said previously, the greens and toppings are consistently fresh and the dressings are great (not salty, not heavy). We've never added chicken to our salad, but they included some on our most recent order anyway, and we were pleasantly surprised (thinly sliced breast meat, tender, and still warm). After my last review, I received a tip to order the veggie pizza extra crispy (never occurred to me as an option). Improved sogginess a bit; perhaps holding the tomatoes would help even more. Still tasty regardless. Most recent pizza was Sweet & Spicy (sub bacon for ham). Nice medium bite from the jalapeños! Great flavor, crispy crust, bacon well-cooked (not chewy/fatty). Previous pizza was BBQ Chicken, which wasn't much to look at, but was really good! Well-balanced barbecue sauce and a decent amount of chicken (smaller/bite-sized pieces, fairly tender, flavorful). When it comes to pizza I'm pretty critical and I know what I do and don't like. This pizza here is thin and crispy which I love. Everything from cheese to grandma slices and my personal favorite the buffalo chicken is outstanding. Delivery- I have nothing to complain about. It's eBay you should want from delivery. On time and respectful. Pizza is handled with care. You can go in for individual slices or dine in the restaurant itself is clean and simple which I like. The bathrooms are also spotless which is important. The employees always have a smile on their face, greet you, and make nice small talk. I have absolutely nothing to complain about here and I would even say this is top 3 pizza in Norwalk possibly the best. read more

I am very picky about my pizza as I frequently make my own pizza at home. Classica pizza is delicious ! The sauce and the crust are perfect . My favorite is the White Italiano with breaded chicken! Classica Pizza is a true Italian, thin crust pizza. The owner's and staff are very friendly and hospital. The owner, John and his son really did treat me like "family". Their "Grandma's Pizza is really something special. It is made with marinara sauce, fresh basil, whole and shredded mozzarella. Very tasty! This pizza really shows off the high-quality ingredients used by Classica. In less than a year, Classica has become the #1 Pizza place, according to Yelp, in the competitive Norwalk, CT area. Their secret to success appears to be a combination of high-quality food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Soft drinks are Pepsi products. I wish I had a choice of Coca-Cola products as well. Hard to believe... NO regular cheese slices available on a Friday night. And, it wasn't close to closing. Also, the Grandma slices were extremely dry and flavorless. Don't let the photo of the Grandma pie on this site fool you... the slices looked nothing like it. No basil either. Probably, sitting around for hours. A real disappointment. read more

My daughter and her friend and I were driving around looking for pizza. We just happened to stop in here. Never ate here before. We ordered slices of spinach ricotta, buffalo chicken, and sausage and peppers. We also got a calzone and garlic knots. The guys behind the counter were so nice and friendly. They brought us our food in no time and it was AMAZING!! So delicious!! Too bad we live in Weston (too far delivery) but I will certainly be ordering and making the trip over there to pick it up. Pizza was SO good! The calamari was mediocre but that's ok. The pizza was definitely worth it! UPDATE; I tried, yet again, to give the calamari a fighting chance. No go. I think it might not be cleaned thoroughly since several hard bits and the lettuce doesn't hold up through delivery. Better off leaving that garnish out. Looks like wet grass when I got it. Only been here a couple of times, but the food was excellent. We love Sicilian, and we went late in the evening - they only had two pieces left. We ordered one and a couple of other things, and they gave us the second slice on the house! The calzone there was perfectly cooked, not raw in the middle like some places. Sad to say, the pizza here was disappointing. Pizza is a favorite food and it all starts with the sauce. This one oddly had almost no flavor. Then the cheese. There was enough, but it also had very little flavor. The edge of the crust was crispy, but the interior was a bit tough. I thought maybe I'd lost my sense of taste and asked my husband what he thought, (not mentioning my impression first). He said the same thing, so it wasn't just me. On the plus side, the people are super nice and parking is easy. We added broccoli to our order and it was the best prepped on any pizza we've had. So many places put big chunks that get dried out or partially charred. These pieces were small, but moist. Very good! Perhaps we hit them on an off night. read more

I am from Stamford and we have tons of pizza places in our area, however, none of them are as good as Classica. For me, great pizza is worth the extra few miles and I don't mind driving to Norwalk to get it. Their pizza is awesome and their pasta dishes are outrageous. We ordered 3 pies, and all of them were great. My husband is an extremely picky eater, and he admitted that Classica was the best pizza he's ever had. The slight crispy bottom was my favorite part. We also ordered the Penne vodka for the table and it was so good that I wished I hadn't offered to share it! On top of their great food, their service is one of a kind. Their staff makes you feel like part of the family and they go above and beyond to make sure all of their customers are satisfied. The location is convenient, located right between the Merritt and 95 so it's really not out of the way for anyone. For such a busy street, Classica is one of the few restaurants on that road that offers ample parking, so don't worry about having to find a spot. If you're in the Norwalk area or you're like me and don't mind the few extra miles, Classica is a must try. You won't be disappointed! read more
