This is our second time using Classic Collision for vehicle repairs, and once again, they delivered exceptional service. They're an authorized repair facility with Mercury Insurance, so the process is always smooth and professional. This time, our install van needed bodywork -- it's our main vehicle for large furnace, air conditioning, and ductwork replacement projects. During the initial inspection, we were worried the van might be too tall to fit inside their shop. Without hesitation, they assured me they had a solution with a mobile paint booth to accommodate our large vehicle. That immediately put my mind at ease and showed how prepared they were to handle any situation. They initially estimated about two weeks for the full repair, which I completely understood, but it was tough since this van keeps our business running. Our representative, Cuu, went above and beyond from day one. He listened to my concerns, came up with ways to possibly speed things up, and kept me updated every step of the way. Unfortunately, my son was in a pretty bad accident last week. The one bit of luck? It happened right in front of Classic Collision. The General Manager, Abner, immediately came out to check on everyone and make sure they were okay. He spoke with my son for a bit and even offered to help him move the car out of the middle of the street. My son was pretty shaken up and declined, but Abner didn't stop there. He told him to feel free to have the car towed to their lot, no charge, and with zero pressure to use them for repairs. And he meant it. We had the car towed over, and Abner was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the whole thing. Cuu was fast responding and keeping me updated throughout the repair. I wasn't initially sure about leaving my car here for an insurance quote since I wasn't familiar with Classic Collision and it was further from home from a repair shop I'd used before. The General Manager, Abner, came to talk to me while the service rep was doing the write-up about the damage to my car. He talked to me about my car, what they would do, etc. and gave me a personal tour of the shop. I met a couple of the guys and got a sense that they would do a good job. He also gave me a ride home so I could leave my car for the work that same day. Mayte ("Tay") did a good job of communicating the status of the repairs along the way and answered all my questions. I'm recently had to bring my second car here. It was smashed into oblivion but a huge truck. We were at a red light and the truck backed into our car. Who does this?! Anyways, this auto body worked with our insurance and it was nothing but smooth and easy going. They kept their promises, called when they said they were going to call, and allows me access to my destroyed rig when I needed it. Stay away. After long delays on warranty work (repaint) I was told to get a rental car. Fair enough. I was told I had a car reserved for me at Enterprise. After visiting Enterprise they informed me that they had no reservation for me in their system. I was then told to get a rental car and I would be reimbursed later. Again, fair enough. It has now been over a year. I have submitted receipts and made dozens of phone calls and emails and have received many polite "We will get right back to you" responses. What I have never received is reimbursement for around $1200 dollars in rental car expenses. It has been so long that I am not even sure about the exact dollar amount at this point in time. So warranty work, for paint peeling off, that shouldn't have been necessary to begin with, has cost me: 1. Going without my car for an extended period of time. 2. Around 1200 dollars in out of pocket costs. I am writing this because after one year I have given up. I am not hurting for $1200, but apparently they are. Times are tough. I took my van last November and was finished first week of January. Windshield was cracked during the repair process and shop would not take responsibility. If I could give a 0 star review, I would. I brought my car into this place requesting an estimate for damage to my car and was promised that it would be sent in a follow up email. It has now been a week and no estimate has been sent. No matter what time of day, when I call to speak with the estimator, I am told he is at lunch, doesn't matter if it's 9:00am or 4:00pm.
