    I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Diamond Star auto glass and Tent. I brought my car…read morein to have the windows tinted, including the front windshield. After the installation, the lower part of my front windshield tint was scratched and damaged. Instead of immediately taking responsibility and redoing the windshield tint properly, they tried to get me to settle for visors for three vehicles because redoing the windshield would cost them more in labor and materials. I told them absolutely not -- I paid to have the windshield tinted correctly, and I wanted it replaced , which they eventually did. Then, shortly after the tint job, my passenger side door panel started lifting. This panel was perfectly fine before my appointment. I called the shop and was specifically told to bring the car back because they could fix it. I took time out of my day to drive back down there, only to be met with excuses. Eddie proceeded to tell me that this "just happens" with Dodges, blamed the heat, and even claimed there was some kind of recall involving the panels. That is simply not true for my vehicle, and my issue started immediately after their work was done. My dashboard lifting slightly from heat over time has absolutely nothing to do with a door panel suddenly lifting after a tint installation. What frustrated me most was the complete lack of accountability. I was told they could fix it, but once I arrived, the conversation turned into blaming my car instead of addressing the damage. Then I was told they "could try" to fix it but might make it worse. At that point, why was I told to bring the vehicle in at all? Now I'm left having to pay out of pocket to find someone else to repair damage that was not there before they worked on my car. Very disappointed in the professionalism, communication, and customer service. I expected honesty and accountability, not excuses and blame-shifting

I rushed in with ...??? story, 100% true. Just hour previously, at highway speed up 15, apparently rock from truck(?) smashed left rear window. But...the plot thickens: 'happened 1020AM. 1030AM, wife dropped off at dentist--she, zonked out 'cause of DMD-prescribed Rx--didn't even hear "booomfph" when smash happened--WITH sound of wind whipping through broken glass, wife half asleep (by design & by prescribed pharmaceuticals), I, thinking: WOULDN't it be GREAT if I could get ALL this fixed by end of DMD appointment? Well.......found Safelite close enough to just barely have time to get a quick look-over--WHICH I DID from NICE, efficient, articulate GUY !! Then? appointment for 7AM NEXT MORNING !! with THEY COMING to ME !! NO EXTRA CHARGE !! Great Guy #2 arrives on time, articulate, professional, works quickly, smoothly and ???!!!! VACUUMS OUT THE BROKEN GLASS when COMPLETED which was ALL over the place !!!!???!! ON LINE computer interface ALSO fabulous ..... but?? But PEOPLE were GREAT--1st, 2nd, and 3rd impressions, starting w/lady at counter.....all AAAAA+++++++ My USAA insurance deductible didn't cover but TOTAL SERVICE was REASONABLY PRICED esPECially dealing with such NICE, articulate, fast working PEOPLE plus EFFICIENT online interface AND getting the thorough VACUUMing of the old glass. Sorry they don't handle tinted glass. I'd love to give them the business...replacing 2 widows with a GOOD tint job (I did lousy job of shading long ago) on 2nd car. PS: I'm not related to anyone working here, not my buddies...total strangers before this. Years ago DID have GREAT windshield replacement complete with expensive rubber trim on a vintage Mercedes...also EXCELLENT but another Safelite shop.

The workers and the manager need to be retrained because if I am paying for my windshield to be replaced, I expect it to be in perfect condition with no problems. There is a persistent air bubble that keeps popping up where my car's windshield sensors are. They seem to not know how to do their job since my car is having the same problem over and over.

    Despite what the owner stated in the past, I've had my Ford worked on over there several…read moretimes.....all for the same problem.....the transmission! The 1st time I thought all went well, until when he had the car delivered, on the receipt was stamped 6 mos warranty! Well, after I authorized him to repair the transmission....he said that he would give me a 1 year warranty. When I asked him about the 6 mos warranty stamp, he said "no worries they made a mistake....I will honor 1 year." I paid him $3,200 for the job. WHO in their right mind would agree to only a 6 mos warranty after paying that much?! So, the car ran well for about 7 months, then transmission went out. I called him, and had the car towed back over there. He said that " you know it's out of warranty, but I will see what I can do". So now he forgets about what he initially told me! So, he kept my car for another 6 mos......dodging all of my calls, and making up B.S. excuses about why my car wasn't ready! When I got the car back he told me that he would not give me a new warranty! The car ran for another few months....then transmission went out again! Smh SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! Oh, and he must know someone over here at YELP, because he had my 2 prior reviews taken down! Smh
