He was extremely professional, arrived early, and confirmed the date and time the night before. The repair was done right in my driveway, which made it super convenient since I was able to work from home during the process. He was the ONLY person who was able to repair the black portion of the bumper, that had a huge hole & multiple gashes through it, without replacing the entire thing, which would have been expensive on my VW.. His pricing was very reasonable, and he was even able to provide an accurate quote over the phone just based on pictures. I'm really happy with the results and would definitely use him again for any future dents or body repairs. I was in a minor front end collision recently so I thought I would reach out to eRiK nAvArRo for the repairs since Yelp and others say he's hardworking and punctual etc. However my experience has been nothing but the opposite. First he took almost 3 hours to message me back initially when I provided detailed description of my car along with photographs to give him an idea of what I needed done which wasted most of the first day I interacted with him. HE'S the one that told me he would come to my house "around 2 tomorrow", which sounded fine to me since he was supposed to be "punctual". Come the next day, 2:00pm turns to 3:30Pm still no word from Eric. 2 more hours go by before I receive a text saying "now I'm available" at almost 6:00pm. Which I find extremely bizarre he wants to come assess damage on a car at night when it's dark as hell where I live. According to Yelp he's less than 2 miles from my location and still could not show up to the appointment HE scheduled himself! If you like being disrespected and having your time wasted then go with eRiC. It's obvious he only has regard for his own time and treats customers like crap. I login to YeIp to request estimates to repair to the front of my car. I received several response to do the work. Then I called Erick to see about fixing a front fender. Erick asked me to send him pictures of the damaged area, from there he could order parts. I was hoping the photos were sufficient to get an estimate. He said he'd call me back after reviewed the photos. He called me the next day with a very reasonable estimate, just over $1000. He called me the next day and wanted to know if I would like the grill replaced as it would make the car look better. I told if it replacing the damaged grill would improve the look from the front to go ahead with getting a replacement grill. I'm buying a new car so I'm giving this one to my sister. I called and asked him if he had an idea of when the parts would be arriving? He then did a complete a complete turn around. He acted like now the photos of the damage front panel were not good enough and that I didn't give him the okay to start, that is two complete lies; he say he would need a deposit before he could order secondary parts and take my car to him to inspect. He gave me a address more than 60 miles and two hours driving time. I was taken aback to the changes he asking to do. I sent him a text asking why the turn around? He didn't respond so I informed him that he wasted my time about three week before retracting his estimate. About six years ago I had an accident with an estimated well over $6,000 no deposit was asked for. And my review on Yelp would reflect what occurred. The guy was nice enough before changing how to go forward. I did not appreciate his lies and wasting my time. I just hope this is not his mode of operation; so that other people wanting their vehicle repaired don't have their car repair delayed and then have to drive to Hemet from Rancho Mirage if they want their car examined. I'm confused as to why he gives an estimate and staying reasonably close to that estimate. Reading other reviews is surprising. I'll find a professional auto body repair.
