I had received pretty severe damage on the bumper of my 2019 Kia Stinger after striking a leftover tire in the middle of the night. My bumper was cracked completely and paint ripped off all along the side bumper. This being my first car I was completely distraught. I worked very hard to maintain my car handwashing and oil changing myself constantly so needless to say I couldn't leave the damage unfixed. I began to start a project on yelp to find quotes already acquiescing that a whole bumper would be required and I'd be out some 1500 dollars. The first ever response I got back was from Arnaldo. He gave me an estimate quick and asked for the paint codes so he could match the paint properly. I was a little worried because I understood the extent of my damage and wanted to make sure it was within his work range. He was accommodating and prompt immediately choosing a time for us to meet. He arrived and upon inspection it was much worst then he thought as the fully cracked bumper would need welding. He apologized and offered to come back as soon as possible. Unfortunately it would also be a different price but only 60 or so dollars more and nothing exorbitant. He returned at the early hour he said he would and kept me updated on his times. He assured me that because of the damage and previous work done it may not be perfect but he would do his best. He immediately got to work. He finished the job in just 2 hours because I had work in the afternoon. He finished on time and the work was incredible. Although he said it wasn't perfect it was as close to perfect as I could tell. The front looked as good as new. I thanked him for his time and we had a nice chat about work. Arnaldo is an incredible professional. A man who has perfected his craftsmanship and offers it out at reasonable prices. Any other body shop would have charged me near 2 thousand for the same work. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE This mobile repair service was a huge disappointment. Arnoldo, the owner, personally performed the repair, and the workmanship was extremely sloppy. My vehicle was left in worse condition than before the repair, with overspray, paint drips, and paint fingerprints. The problems are clearly marked with arrows in the photographs. I contacted Arnoldo and gave him the opportunity to fix the problems. He scheduled an appointment, never showed up, and gave me one excuse after another. Reached to a couple of body shops last week and Arnold immediately responded with the best quote. I scheduled the appointment and was pleasantly surprised that he offers a mobile service. Only thing that he will need is the car in a shaded area so keep that in mind prior to scheduling your appointment. Initially he quoted $425 for damage then upon arriving he stated the repair would require welding on my bumper so it was an additional $60 so $485 out the door. The other quotes I received were between $700-$1000+ and that would be full bumper repair. He was transparent that he wouldn't be able to fully repair the inside of the bumper however I was satisfied with the results considering the reasonable price. I had a disappointing experience with Arnold. He misquoted me and then let his emotions get in the way of doing a decent job. The repair looked rushed and incomplete he actually made my car worse. After I left a one star review, he said he'd consider fixing it if I took the review down. He came back to buff the car but then decided not to continue and refunded me $285 out of the $600 I paid. Because he at least refunded part of the cost, I'm giving two stars. But he should've just left my car alone. I learned my pricey lesson now I'm paying someone else to fix what Arnold did. The new shop showed me all the imperfections and explained how poorly the work was done. He basically just oversprayed on top of my car's protective film instead of removing it like a professional auto body shop would. The color looked botched, and the texture was gritty and uneven nowhere near the smooth finish it had before. My car is new, so this kind of work really stood out. If it were an older beater car, maybe I wouldn't have cared as much, but with a new vehicle, you have to pay for real professionals who know what they're doing. He also doesn't offer any warranty, so I wouldn't risk it. I'm being honest because what he did wasn't right I paid for a service and was mistreated.
