Randy's PDR was recommended to me by a friend and I'm glad I contacted him. When we got a 7" dent in the lift gate on our Porsche I was pretty peeved. The dealership's dent guy was apprehensive about being able to get the dent entirely removed, and so we called Randy. He was super responsive, and when he gave me an estimate it was incredibly reasonable. The dent also happened on a double walled aluminum panel in a really tight area to access but it was no match for Randy. He ended up battling the dent for several hours longer than he originally estimated, but he was super communicative throughout the day and kept me updated. Please do not take your car to randy they do shady business. They charge my brother 600 too get is sent out and charged a extra 100 when he picked up the car. The debt was not even completely removed I own a shop and I hire dent pros out here in NorCal to do dents all day. I had looked at the ba before and new it would be 98 percent out IF YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WHERE DOING RANDY DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING. When I called he told me that the metal was too stretched and that he was working on it for more than 7 hours. A good tech would of been able too get that dent out no problem I have seen some pretty hard body lines being pushed out by rods. Plane and simply he told me he shouldn't have ever touch the car. When he looked at it he said the metal was too stretch. BUT DIDNT METION THAT TOO MY BROTHER. And just wanted too do the job knowing it wasn't going too come out He came a second time to time to finish the job since he returned the car unfinished. Yup. The reviews weren't lying. 4 month old 2016 Lexus RX 350 and guess what happens? I got initiated!!! Some idiot rammed his door into my car. Didn't even leave a note or anything. It was on the door edge which is hard to fix. I called a few places they said it couldn't be done. Others said you have to take it to a body shop. Some people said it might be possible but would charge more. He immediately looked at my photos and gave me a quote. He said it could be done THAT day. Considering how I have been wasting my whole day figuiring out how to fix this, I went in a heart beat. He already looked like and knew what he was doing. He saw the dent immediately and got to work. Called Randy to make arrangements for the repair of a door ding about the size of a quarter. My paint is black and very reflective so the ripple around the dent made it look larger and was easily visible After sending him a few poorly shot photos, received a quote for 160$. Seemed a little high but based on his yelp reviews, felt ok about price. Set up appointment for him to come to my home. He didn't show up, and didn't call. When I contacted him 30 minutes after the appointment time, he said he overslept because his child was up all night. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, rescheduled to have him arrive same day by 1 pm. He arrived at 1:15. He actually did a really good job and even removed the white scuff mark. It's not perfect but you have to look for it to find it. It was a challenging repair due to some metal bracing in my panel according to Randy.I am satisfied and would use Randy again. 4 stars is for having to reschedule. All I can say is WOW!!! My stainless steel refrigerator was an innocent bystander from a wrestling match between my two teenage sons. Didn't know what I was going to do short of replacing this $5,000 behemoth. There were no good answers for repairs on the Internet. Suggestions such as using dry ice to get out the dents were disheartening when I looked it up on YouTube. I considered taking off the outer shell of the door and even replacing the door itself.
