I reached out to Glen as part of my Yelp project to find someone who could repair/repaint some damage on my vehicle. At first, Glen was very responsive and seemed honest in both his advice and pricing. We agreed on a negotiated price and set an appointment date. Come the afternoon before the appointment in the morning, he messages me to ask for my VIN #. I provide it to him, and he responds that he doesn't have the paint color and needs to cancel our appointment. I had requested time off work already and was disappointed by the lack of planning and short notice. After some messages back and forth, we decide on the upcoming Saturday, and he apologized for canceling the prior appointment. No biggie, I thought... well, I thought wrong. The following day, he reached out saying that he can't do the job at all because he was quoted a higher than expected price for the paint supplies from his supplier. I responded that I wouldn't mind if we renegotiated so that he could factor in the updated price of the paint. Then all of a sudden, crickets. I saw that he read my messages on Yelp. I tried leaving a voicemail, and got nothing from him. I ended up having to create a new Yelp project and restart the process of gathering quotes, delaying my repair too. At the end of the day, my time was wasted because of poor planning on his end. Why quote and settle on a price BEFORE doing your research on material costs? I cannot recommend Glen enough! I had a small scratch on my camry. A well meaning friend tried to fix it but ended up making a small hole by over buffing the area (through several layers of paint).
