Lo and behold, on a super windy day, the car next to us swung their door open and--WHAM--the wind slammed it right into our car. Total accident... but it still sucks. Especially when the car is only a few months old. After it happened, I did what any overly confident dad would do: I went on Amazon and started looking at DIY dent repair kits. For about 10 minutes I was convinced I could absolutely fix this myself. Then reality kicked in. Thomas is truly a magician!!! He's amazing!!! He removed 16 dings from my car and made it look brand new. When I bought this car it was already dinged up pretty bad. I have no clue where the prior owner parked it but it was in pretty bad shape on the outside. Check out the before and after pics. A+++ Now back to Thomas... He was a pleasure to work with and a great communicator. Setting up an appointment was super easy and was able to come out the same week. He was very upfront about the process and the expected end results. After getting his hands on the car, he advised me that access to many of the dings were blocked by supports and bracing inside the panel so he'd have to use the glue technique to tackle them. That technique is much more difficult and time consuming but typically has great results. I said ok just do the best you can do. So based on that I figured that some of the dents were going to be so stubborn that the end result might be only slightly better than its current state. Oh boy was I wrong, the end result turned absolutely amazing. Thomas has mastered this technique clearly. I was super impressed with his work. I had a fantastic and unique experience with Thomas, the owner, of ProperPDR. I sent him the photos of the ding I wanted him to repair. He gave me an estimate over the phone and we scheduled an appointment.  He texted me a couple of times before the appointment, once to confirm and another to give me his estimated time of arrival. Once he got here, he started working on the repair. After a couple of hours of work, Thomas informed me that he wasn't equipped to fix the dent and that it had to be fixed by an auto-body shop. He referred me to Chang's Auto Body in Garden Grove, at which I had a fantastic experience.  I expected to pay for the two hours of work that Thomas had done to uncover the problems with my car, but he said there was no charge for the work. I tried to pay him, but he felt that since he couldn't fix it, he wasn't going to charge me for his time and refused to accept any payment. I can't recommend Thomas and ProperPDR highly enough. No response when I asked them to remedy pealing paint and a irregular finish on a rear bumper They promised, on a # of occasions to correct this problem by saying that Tommy"s assistant would call to set up an appointment, NO CALL Once they screw up they have no interest in resolving an issue. Live in the Trabuco Canyon area. Small dent in Porsche macan. I checked with a few places which quoted prices almost 2x what Proper PDR quoted for mobile at home service.
