When I went to put gas in the car for the first time, I discovered that the gas cap had been forced and glued on -- apparently with wet paint, no gasket and missing screws. I had no choice but to damage the surrounding paint just to open it. Also, one of clamps on gas tank neck was completely loose, just hanging there. In addition, there are several small paint bubbles in a few spots, which really take away from what could have been an excellent finish. The craftsmanship on the bodywork itself was good, but whoever handled the painting and reassembly clearly rushed the job. If the gasket had been damaged or lost, they could have told me. We could have ordered a replacement or done something temporary to prevent damage--the gasket only cost $11. Update - gas tub neck was installed incorrectly as well. Gas cap got stuck again and I had destroy the it to get the gas cap off.

I didn't hear a knock, doorbell, call or text or even an email so when it turned 12 noon, I called the corporate office and the guy on the phone said he's would call the shop to call me. The shop runs all calls through the Huntington Beach office. A woman with a slight accent reached out (I didn't catch her name) and said that my appointment was rescheduled. I told her that I didn't even get a notice that my appointment was moved or it wouldn't be possible today. She proceeded to tell me that the glass was not going to be available until Monday so that's why the man on the phone said 9/1 would be ok. I asked her "what man" and she said don't you have a man or a husband at your home? And I told her that the only person picking up the phone would be me. I do have a husband but he left for work at 7am so there would be no way he would pick up a call. Then she started telling me that the reason it was rescheduled was because the person on the phone said he's an uber driver and needs the car asap. I told her that I'm not an uber driver and don't have any call records of her calling me from this number. She was completely flabbergasted and said omg and hung up the phone. I was trying to tell her that my appointment was canceled for no reason and I've been up since 6:30 and not going anywhere knowing my time slot was between 8-12. She kept talking over me and wouldn't let me explain. My feeling is that the shop, whether it was her or someone else in the shop got the information mixed up and mixed the clients up between myself and another person. At no point did she apologize for the inconvenience but doubled down that I was completely wrong. What a great way to treat customers.

If I feel like I receive a "meh" experience, I tend to just leave it alone. This is evident if you're ever bored enough to peruse my other reviews. With that being said, I am a picky person by nature. I hold places to a high standard. If I receive mediocre to average service, I don't usually bother writing a review about my experience. You typically have to really blow me away, one way or another. This is where Push N Pull comes in. My dumb ass tried to re-seat a spoiler using a trim tool. I caused several dings into my tail gate. I reached out to several local shops, including some I've used in the past. Their bids were pretty excessive and encroaching on a spot repaint or full respray of the panel. I remember reaching out to Michael (Push N Pull) about six month ago for a different job. I ultimately didn't go with him because of a personal recommendation for another shop. However, this time around, I thought I would shoot him a message and get his take. Michael was confident he could complete the work and his bid undercut competitors significantly. Michael arrived on-time, was extremely friendly and professional, and answered any questions I had. He quoted me a time-frame and completed the work in nearly half that! That expediency did not compromise the quality. He did a great job at repairing my moronic mistake. AND he did all this at an exceptional cost. For future PDR repairs, I will definitely give Michael a call.
