I had an appointment for glass replacement at my home this morning from 8am-12 noon from the Menifee, CA shop. They apparently run the services through the Huntington Beach shop. I didn't hear a knock, doorbell, call or text or even an email so when it turned 12 noon, I called the corporate office and the guy on the phone said he's would call the shop to call me. The shop runs all calls through the Huntington Beach office. A woman with a slight accent reached out (I didn't catch her name) and said that my appointment was rescheduled. I told her that I didn't even get a notice that my appointment was moved or it wouldn't be possible today. She proceeded to tell me that the glass was not going to be available until Monday so that's why the man on the phone said 9/1 would be ok. I asked her "what man" and she said don't you have a man or a husband at your home? And I told her that the only person picking up the phone would be me. I do have a husband but he left for work at 7am so there would be no way he would pick up a call. Then she started telling me that the reason it was rescheduled was because the person on the phone said he's an uber driver and needs the car asap. I told her that I'm not an uber driver and don't have any call records of her calling me from this number. She was completely flabbergasted and said omg and hung up the phone. I was trying to tell her that my appointment was canceled for no reason and I've been up since 6:30 and not going anywhere knowing my time slot was between 8-12. She kept talking over me and wouldn't let me explain. My feeling is that the shop, whether it was her or someone else in the shop got the information mixed up and mixed the clients up between myself and another person. At no point did she apologize for the inconvenience but doubled down that I was completely wrong. What a great way to treat customers. read more

Very professional and got my vehicle ahead of expected completion. Very happy with the quality of work.

Took my car in to have two scratches on the roof of my 2026 Toyota, turns out no work needed to be rendered. The estimator Robert L was very helpful in not recommending I ruin my paint and had a technician from the back see if it could be polished or buffed out and it Worked! Javier was my savior had me out of there in 10-15 minutes tops and I was able to cancel my insurance claim. Thanks Robert & Javier!!! read more

This place is an absolute joke. Insurance company will send you there and they'll give you no choice but to sign a paper saying they can completely dismantle your car to obtain an estimate so they can charge you $700 to reassemble it when it never needed to be taken apart to begin with. Don't go there with any minor damage especially that's strictly cosmetic!! because they will justify any reason to tear apart your entire car just to get their money. These people WILL take off your gas cover, completely take out your windows, take off your front and rear end along with your taillights; EVEN YOUR DOOR PANELS... Anything that wasn't damaged to overwhelm you into paying them $750!! OH, and then leave your car outside for god knows how long; WITHOUT ANY WINDOWS AND THE DOORS UNLOCKED?!?!??? Absolute scam and terrible company. STRICTLY COSMETIC DAMAGE WAS THE REASON WE CAME HERE!!! FOR THE CAR TO GO FROM THIS TO THIS!! Any good, decent, NOT INCOMPETENT mechanic could easily decipher that this car did not need to be torn apart to obtain an estimate and that this was strictly cosmetic. To the owners of this company and to the people who think they're running it where is your integrity? Disgusting. read more

I had a minor bumper damage on my 27 Chevy Bolt. I came to Gerber because it was close to home and recommended by my insurance company. Drew was very helpful during the entire process and gave me daily progress updates via text message. The vehicle was repaired on-time and it looks like new. They are linked to Enterprise, so you can arrange for a rental a Gerber and they will handle returning the vehicle back to Enterprise. If I ever need body or glass work, Gerber will be my first choice. read more

Just don't go there. They'll break stuff on your car, not in the area of repair, then lie about it. Left grease all over windshield which is odd since the rear end was getting fixed read more

The first time I came to this repair shop was January 2025 to get my rear panel replaced from an accident. They did a great job, had it done within a week and communication was great. My car got hit again in July 2025 and decided to come back to the repair shop because I've been here before and my experience was great. This second time around wasn't the best. It took them 2 months to get my car fixed, couldn't calibrate it on their own so they had to send it to the Temecula Hyundai dealership for them to finish it. When I initially took my car it had the check engine light on for a vapor canister issue from the accident (MOVAL Hyundai had did a diagnostic for it). I got it back and it had multiple lights due to what they said was my front sensor even though I didn't get hit in the front. They specifically told me that the dealership AND gerber double checked the work that was done (the back bumper with sensors) were put on correctly and calibrated and my issue was now in the front due to a broken windshield and needed to replace the camera, bumper sensor and bumper. I ended up replacing my windshield because it was bothering me, hoping it would take the lights away after that was recalibrated but that wasn't the case, the lights were still on. Yesterday (12/18/25) I took my car to get serviced at the dealership I always take it to (MOVAL Hyundai) and told them to run a diagnostic to see if I actually need to repair what the Temecula Hyundai and Gerber had told me to fix. They run the diagnostic and turns out that one of the sensors that Temecula Hyundai had replaced wasn't done correctly even after they AND gerber collision had assured me that everything was double checked and done properly. They were able to reconnect the sensor properly and my car is now running like brand new. Any work done here I would double check if the car isn't running properly even after "getting fixed" because they could mess up. This was a huge inconvenience for me because I drive my car 120+ miles everyday due to school and for it to be a faulty sensor that wasn't connected properly was frustrating to hear because they said all the work was done properly and checked, which wasnt the case at all. Also not to mention that they put the incorrect tail light for the trim of my car. I noticed the day I got it back, went back the next day to let them know. They did end up replacing it but it took like 2 weeks due to the first light that was shipped being broken. They wanted to get me a used one because my insurance goes with the most "cost efficient parts" according to them. I ended up getting a brand new tail light because they couldn't find a used one. read more

I am giving this business 5 stars not only because they did an absolutely fabulous job on repairing our car, on time and intact, but because of the two employees with whom we most often interacted. In short, Emilio and Myra were extremely kind and thoughtful people who really care about their customers. Myra, the person you are most likely to meet when you enter their establishment, is a refreshingly easy-going receptionist who always has a smile in her voice. Emilio, who handled our project, was not only thorough in his explanation of the repair process, but also amazingly sensitive to the fact that I have low vision and needed some navigational assistance while on the property. He is one of those rare individuals who is able to make his customers feel safe and welcomed regardless of their physical challenges. He is a world class professional and a true gentleman. Horrible customer service! Called to make an appointment, they said I could bring my vehicle in today at 3:45 no later than 4. I got out of work early to make it on time. I was involved in a hit-and-run accident which damaged the rear of the car. My insurance company recommended Gerber in Menifee. They are my heros! Since my insurance wouldn't cover the rental car, I would have to pay out of my pocket. The car would be in the shop for approximately 3 weeks. I would be cutting into my Christmas money and I wasn't happy. But the guys at Gerber came through. They had finished the repair in 6 days! I couldn't be happier. Go Team Robert! I highly recommend Gerber for auto collision repair or damaged windows. read more

Do not bother making an appointment online. Booked an appointment for a estimate online a couple of days in advance. I show up to my "appointment" only for them to tell me they do not have an appointment for my name. They then asked if I booked it online which I replied yes. That followed with "if a appointment is made online, we do not receive it." So I then asked why is that even an option or why does it let you. Their response was "we don't know, we do not control that aspect of corporate." I was then told the next available appointment would be in 2 months. What a joke. I called corporate to tell them they all need to get their act together as I doubt I will be the only person this happens to which is infuriating to begin with. They did great work on my Audi e-Tron and are very close to my home which is why I wanted to use them but with a response like that, that will be a hard pass. read more

Took my car to the dealership after someone broke into it. Whomever the low life was, broke my door lock, the car handle and the automatic mechanism used to work it remotely. Took it to the dealership cause makes sense right?!...... Nope huge mistake, the service person at the dealership is rude af did not give two deuces and his personality was way off. So I called my insurance because I was not going to spend my money where the vibe was not feeling up to par. Insurance recommended GERBER COLLISION. What a breath of fresh air to say the least! I was going to wait to schedule an appointment to take the car in for an estimate due to my busy schedule but then, I received a call instead from the front desk gal with in minutes of speaking to my insurance. Not only was she super sweet and polite but Travis the guy who gave me the estimate and dealt with me throughout was icing on the cake! He is professional, knowledgeable, personable, didn't bullshit me, told me exactly what was going to get done and about how many days I was going to be out of my old lady ride! His vibes meshed well with mine for sure. Also want to give a huge Kudos to the peeps in the back, whoever did the work did a phenomenal job! I was only out of commission for two whole days! They give you an update via text with the status of your ride. Received my old lady ride back in her sweet sexy skin and then some. They buffed out scuff marks from other car doors hitting me in parking lots which wasn't even from the break in job! And wait theres more! My car was washed and detailed from the outside to in! Gaaahhhh would totally recommend taking your car here! Told my insurance company to send everyone's vehicle to this place. Thank you everyone there for such awesome work! You're the best ever! read more

Worst service I have experienced. It took 2.5 months to repair our service truck that only had front end damage. Kept getting the run around and excuse of why it was taking so long. Insurance had approved all repairs. Was told at one point that another insurance company had priority and that's why ours was not being worked on. Was also given the excuse of turnover at the shop was another reason why our truck was not done. Insurance company recommended Gerber to use, our company will never use them again. Ron read more

The estimator Robert tried to add repair work to the request that I made for repairs of vandalism to my hood windshield and right side bumper his greed caused AAA to deny my claim entirely for vandalism to my hood based on his verbiage and his report to them that tried to include clearcoat problems on the bumpers next to the hood. They now call the vandalism that stripped the paint off of my hood normal wear and tear which is absolutely false and absurd! That hood was fine one day, and the paint damaged and stripped the next that's not normal wear and tear nor oxidation damage! He and AAA both lied and cheated me!! read more

Went to drop off my vehicle at Gerber at 8:30am. I met with the service writer who looked over my vehicle. He told me that my bumper on my LS 460 was not painted correctly. It had been rear ended before but there was no problem with my bumper. Then I explained to him that I did not want my bumper to be a different color than the rest of my car, it's metallic paint job and with metallic paint jobs you have to blend from the bumper to the rest of the vehicle in order for it to match. He explained to me they wouldn't be doing that and that my bumper didn't match anyways and if that wasn't gonna work, they weren't gonna do the job. He then proceeded to tell me that I needed to sign paperwork stating that my bumper was a different color or it might be a different color. I told him that wasn't gonna happen. My insurance company explained to me that I would have a rental car & it would be waiting for me when I dropped it off to make it very convenient for me to be able to get in & out. The first thing he said to me was you're gonna have to wait for the rental car they're coming from Perris and you know how that is. He explained that we can't do the job i needed. I said thank you for your time and left. It's very sad today that auto collision centers do not properly paint your car, the way that it needs to be finished. I have been in the automotive industry for 35 years and see this kind of poor work done all the time beware coming to Gerber.. you're not gonna get the job you thought you were going to get. read more

Your just a dollar sign. They charged me because they said insurance didn't cover it. So I paid and within the hour I reached my claims adjuster and he cleared up the confusion and told them to issue a refund and conveniently they do not know how to issue a refund. A day and a half later the receptionist tells me she voided the transaction the same day to check my account. At this point my account shows me the charge posted. It's almost 3 days later and still nothing. Money has not been refunded and no response from them regarding this matter. Not sure how a company as big as they are does not know how to issue refund. I don't recommend them at all especially because of there lax attitude towards refunding the money. read more

Horrible shop. I got into a car accident and my insurance told me to use this shop for my claim. Not only has the repair taken days more to be done (it was supposed to be done on the 15th and it is now the 21st and still not done) they determined they were not going to repair my car back to its modified state I had it in before, leaving literally 1 tail light untinted and the other tinted. Also, when I went to pick up my car the first time, it looked as if they just rinsed it off and called it a day? My car looked nicer getting it off my nissan dealer after an oil change! Needless to say the accident was august 28th and it is now September 21st and I still don't have my car. Complete failure in customer satisfaction and I would be warned if your insurance company tells you to go here. If your car is straight off the lot you're fine but if you have aftermarket modifications on it RUN AWAY UPDATE: after a more refined search into this repair it was found that someone STOLE my spare tire, broke the brand new bumper, used my car to go get fast food and left the receipts in the car, there was a lot of trash left in the car that was mostly other people's paperwork, my shifter light was shot and more damage to my interior fabric was done as well. I gave this shop a 2nd chance to fix it and they failed to install some stuff to properly hold on my muffler, had to take it to a different shop to get fixed right. The shifter light was later (found by nissan) to have also been stolen and the entire wiring system shot. A 300 dollar expense because they somehow fried it (probably when they stole the bulb!!!!) read more

Can't say it was a woman driver, some guy had trouble backing up. Not a lot of damage. Had to wait a month for the parts to become available. Not Gerbers fault. This was the time period where the docks were full of containers as were the ship waiting to unload. Once the parts came in, Veronica contacted Enterprise to arrange for a car and schedule a time for me to drop off my car. Julius oversaw the process of completing the repairs on time. The work was done in timely manner and I was kept abreast of the status. All the work was excellent. The other stars at Gerbers are the technicians who do the actual repairs. I have never had a negative experience there and doubt you won't either. read more

From the first phone call to set up an appointment to drop my car off all the way until I picked my car up, the staff was very polite and helpful. Eli was very informative when I dropped off my car and kept me up to date as much as he could. Although, I would have preferred a phone call after receiving texts that the completion date for my car had been delayed instead of left wondering why there was a delay. I'll start out saying that the 5-star rating system, saying it's great doesn't do Gerber Collision in Menifee justice, if I could, I would give them an outstanding rating with 10 stars. I have taken my vehicles to them for body repairs at least three times for separate incidences , and each time they have gone over and beyond to make sure my vehicles were repaired correctly and that I was 100% satisfied. Veronica that runs the front desk is awesome, she is a true professional and always greets me with a smile and with respect, as well as stays on top of everything. She always keeps me updated on how everything is going with my repairs and she really knows what she's doing too. She is very qualified to answer my questions every time, whether I call or go there in person. Julian was my service writer and also wrote my estimate, he is very knowledgeable, professional and polite, he always answers every question I have and kept me updated every step along the way. His estimate was spot on and exact. The body work and paint job that were performed each time were excellent. Two of my cars have Pearl White paint jobs and the color matching and blending are immaculate. I am personally in the Automotive Industry and I am very critical when it comes to work on my vehicles, I do all my own mechanical repairs and I trust Gerber Collision to do all of the body repairs. I high recommend Gerber Collision for any auto body repairs and any painting needs that you may have when it comes to vehicles. read more
