I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding customer service. My husband's experience yesterday, when he bought roasted coffee to go and a sourdough egg and avocado sandwich, was exemplary. This prompted me to visit today, and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. Angela, the cashier, provided us with exceptional assistance and left a lasting impression. Had wagyu steak skillet last night. It was one of these best steaks I've ever had. Cooked perfectly medium rare, as requested. It came with a large side salad and grilled veggies. The portion was so large that my wife and I could have split one order. The food was fresh and was farm to table. Service was great. We brought our service dogs in and they were welcomed with a bowl of water and milk bones. We'll be back. read more

Was headed to Starbucks when I saw this farm to cup restaurant and had to come here instead. I loved that they had a drive thru as I don't mind the wait at the window which there will be! Glad I pulled up when I did as the first person in line because soon there was a line of cars! They have a nice big menu serving items from paninis/sandwiches and wraps to smoothie bowls and fresh pressed juices along with a bakery with even more options of sweets like cake pops, sweet loaves, mousse's. I was overwhelmed in a good way.. I ended up getting a mini Tropical Dream smoothie bowl which came out big for a mini in my opinion I didn't even finish it! Everything is always great! My favorite place to get smoothies for the kids and they love the cake balls. It's the only place we buy coffee. The best hands down. The tea is good as well. I haven't been back to Starbucks since CJs opened!!!! read more

Locally roasted coffee by Jonathan!!! Knowledgeable and helpful staff with a very wide variety of coffee drinks and teas. Plus each of the three locations is a little different menu wise but great food or treats to go with well brewed fresh coffee. Never burnt or over roasted beans like an unnamed chain that rings with Star-sucks. Or like another chain that sells sugary drinks out of putt-putt golf hole that supposedly have coffee in them but has anyone actually just bought a coffee at one these siblings from the Netherlands? SO SUPPORT LOCAL!!! Drink local coffee! Only use sugar and flavors as a last resort -- or admit you don't like coffee you actually just like sugar and flavors -- so you're actually just an adult child that drinks hot ice cream for the lactose intolerant and calls it coffee as a disguise for faux adulthood. read more

The Americano I ordered was very good. If you call yourself farm to fork I would expect fresh food. I had a ham and cheese croissant that was at least 2 days old. Hard, dry and crusty. The girl at the service desk was very sweet and helpful. read more

We are a band traveling through on tour and stayed at the Hilton across the street. So so grateful to find a place with good coffee and fresh, quality food! Wow, our breakfasts were all amazing. The employees must be paid well too because the customer service was excellent and everyone seemed happy to be working here. I think it's maybe a Christian coffee shop, but the atmosphere felt very welcoming and accepting. Thank you, we will be back! read more

It was good. The service people were really friendly as you're able to order and seat anywhere afterwards. I ordered the half chicken, half salmon skillet. Everything was lightly seasoned and and well cooked, the only improvement I'd do is make it a hot/sizzling skillet (adds to the wow factor) when it comes out and make the chicken skin crispier in the oven or via salamander/torch. I actually initially thought that the chicken was cooked via sous vide, but the server did confirm that an oven was used, which tells me that the chicken was submerged within a liquid while cooking. The honey protein smoothie was also ordered, it wasn't bad, but does remind me of the espresso candies. I'd just do a regular fruit smoothie with the option to add protein (collagen would also be nice) and an espresso or matcha shot. But I'll def be coming back read more

Perfect early AM stop on our way to a long bike ride along the Talimena Scenic Byway. Met Jonathan, who was really knowledge and helpful. He even let us smell some freshly roasted beans before purchasing. Their own roasted coffee was very fresh, they had a mix of drinks and milk offerings, and some good food options too. Just make sure to swing last Starbuck's and go to this place. Surely you'll enjoy the better coffee and food options. read more

The food here is good and fresh! I appreciate the diversity of vegetables and healthy ingredients. You will definitely be waiting a while, but it was usually worth it. As of February 25, their dining room is open for breakfast, brunch, lunch & dinner. I had the opportunity to try the $9 Avocado Toast that I mentioned in my previous review. It's stacked pretty high with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, avocado and balsamic dressing. There's also a small side of greens included. It tasted great and was bright & beautiful, so I'll add a star to my original review; however, I still think $9 is a bit high. Gorgeous interior, though! Really a dual-branded location, including CJ's Coffee and the "Lettuce Indulge" restaurant. So good coffee and good, healthy food. Friendly staff, but the food and coffee can take longer than expected and some basic functionality continues to be an issue -- I hope/expect that to change as they have only been open for a short time. Also appreciate their early to late hours (5:30 AM-9 PM), closed Sundays. They also have a drive-through. This is a great option as there are not many other dining options that you can walk to from the local Hilton Garden hotel. read more

The Denison location has my husband's heart, not to mention my twin toddler daughters', which is saying something. Such a nice, surprising find to have a local sourcing cafe with such quality ingredients and beautiful coffee. If you're a beef fan, the huz loves the black and blu. Oh man... I'm sure I just came on a bad day so maybe I'll need to go back and give them a second try sometime. I wanted to enjoy this place more than I did. I got a vanilla latte but it was sooo sweet. My boyfriend got a cold brew and it was just ok. Paid an exorbitant amount for the worst avocado toast I've ever had (sorry, I know that sounds harsh but it was not good at all). Drive thru service was all over the place. There was one person standing outside taking orders. And that same person plus one other would go in and out bringing drink orders to the cars in line but they gave us the wrong drinks twice. Finally we got to the window to get our food and they gave us the wrong food too. In total we were in line for about 20 minutes so it wasn't quick by any means. Overall, it just wasn't a good experience this time but I've heard others rave on this little place! Didn't go inside but from what I could see it looks nice. Plenty of parking outside.
