Love the view and the broad cocktail and wine list. Great ambience to relax, with pleasant staff.

While staying the night at the Hilton Union Square, we decided to check out the famous sky view bar -CityScape! We took the elevator to the 46th(!) floor and were met with the host who told us to have a seat anywhere we wanted. We were pleased there was no wait time on a Friday at 4pm. We were stunned at the views up there ! The menu was extensive with plenty of choices...... except for us Non -Drinkers. I really wish they had more NA Beer options but still we opted for their 1 NA option- the hoppy water . My husband didn't like it much but I got a very yummy mocktail. I would definitely still come back even with the few NA options simply for the views.

I really enjoyed myself at this rooftop bar. I'm in San Francisco for the week and turns out that the hotel that we've been staying at has a really nice rooftop bar that people actually go to even if they don't stay here. The view is amazing. I don't think I realized how huge San Francisco was until I saw this view. You really see all of the skyscrapers, the mountains, and the water. There's so much to see from the view being that it's on the 46th floor of the hotel. The only complaint that I had was the food options were very limited, but this is a bar. It's not a full on restaurant so I can't really fault them for that and I did end up actually enjoying the food that I did order. So I got the poke And a fruit plate and I enjoyed both of them. I generally really enjoy poke so that wasn't a surprise and they came with rice paper chips which I've never heard of before and when they came out, I honestly thought they were napkins at first lmaoo but it was good and I enjoyed it. However, it certainly was not very filling, but that was to be expected, but the fruit plate was definitely a nice portion. There were several different fruits and it was a good amount. I also got the Malbec and our waiter actually told me that it's from Argentina and made it seem like it's one of the nicest wines that you can get in San Francisco so that was really nice and I definitely enjoyed it. Ambience wise it was also nice. I mean the view is a significant part of the experience so it definitely is nice especially with us going during the daytime. There's a lot of natural light that we got to soak in and enjoy. It does have a luxurious and upscale feel to it as well which I tend to enjoy. Our server was extremely nice. I liked him a lot. He was helpful and seemed to care about making sure that we enjoyed ourselves so again if you're looking for somewhere to primarily just get drinks and you wanna see a stellar view of San Francisco I would recommend this place for sure.

Great little nightcap I had at the Cityscape! I love a bar with a view and this one was great! Arrived around 9pm after dinner. This place was a little confusing to find at first, but after some walking around and a series of elevators, I finally made it. The views were lovely and a little foggy this night which I didn't expect. The bartenders were nice and let me move my seat to take in the view. The drinks I had were fruity and delicious! Loved the vibe, scene, and drinks here.

Came here with my friends before heading over to see a play and the view alone makes this place a must visit. It's inside the Hilton on the 46th floor. We found a spot on the side facing Golden Gate Bridge and right as golden hour hit, the view was gorgeous! The drinks were good but. It amazing. I got the Karl and the description said it had coconut foam on top and when I got my drink there was not a trace of coconut foam. Other than that, service was good and definitely got packed as we were leaving.

We came to Cityscape after dinner. It was our first time here. The views of San Francisco were amazing. Each of us had a different cocktail. Everyone liked their drink. The server was attentive and helpful regarding drink selections. This bar is inside the Hilton hotel on the 46th floor. The drinks are priced higher than what you'd find at most bars, for 3 drinks it came up to almost $80. I would come here again and recommend this as a good place to go for a drink when you have visitors in town who would like a stunning view of the Cityscape. Cheers!

One of the tallest bars in the city with spectacular views from the 46th floor of the Hilton hotel downtown. Luckily we came on a clear day so had a clear view of all the holiday lights below. There's tall windows sweeping the whole room, so every spot feels scenic. On a Monday night it wasn't busy at all. We were able to get walk in and get a window-side booth. Service was a little rude, and our waiter seemed impatient with us. But otherwise a good experience. It was a maze trying to find this bar inside the hotel since the entrance is pretty hidden. We went through the parking garage before walking down the lobby and taking two separate sets of elevators. Definitely a journey to get here, but worth it. Their menu has a lot of fun drinks. I got the Karl drink, which turned out to be strong and on the bitter side. The stardust was like a mimosa and even came with glitter. Raspberry moon was also sweet and fruity. Recommend visiting here for the classy vibes and stunning panoramic views!

A great place for an intimate evening! Came on a Sunday evening, and for a party of 2, the staff said to pick any table. After perusing the menu, my date and I decided on the Stardust and Raspberry Moon. They checked our IDs, and we didn't have to wait long before our drinks were brought over! - Raspberry Moon - cute drink but a bit too sweet for my liking - Stardust - as someone who doesn't like the taste of alcohol, this was quite enjoyable! Very orange-forward drink I ended up getting quite tipsy, but nothing a few glasses of water couldn't fix. Do note that they no longer have phone chargers for patrons to use - apparently they'd lend out charging cables that were never returned. Overall great ambiance and a great place to chat! Bathrooms were also really clean with excellent lighting. I really enjoyed my time here and would not be against coming back (maybe after checking out the other sky bars in the city)!

This bar and the views it offers are absolutely breathtaking! I would recommend going on a night rather than a foggy one, but is worth it. I forgot to take pictures, but we did order a charcuterie tray and some light bites and they were very good. The prices are as expected for these times. We were staying at this hotel and so visited cityscape twice and our service was better on the second night. The first night the service was fine but a little slow and we had to chase the server down when we had a problem with our drink and when we wanted our check. In summary, please give cityscape a try and consider getting at least some of their little appetizers. It is definitely worth it.

Love the view and the service, great place to have drinks with friends. Go little early before the sunset to grab the best seats.

This is one of my favorite rooftop bars in the city. The atmosphere and the views alone make it worth coming here, especially at night when you can see the whole skyline. My go-to drink here is the espresso martini and they always make it really well. I usually come here for special occasions or when I'm out with friends. It can get a little expensive if you start ordering multiple rounds of drinks, but honestly the experience, ambiance, and views make it worth it. Overall, this is my favorite spot for a rooftop bar and I always enjoy coming back.

t was my first time visiting Cityscape, and both the atmosphere and customer service were excellent. I ordered margaritas, which were a 10/10, and the view was amazing. I would definitely recommend visiting.

Had one of the best experiences at the place. First, it is located at the top of the Hilton hotel, and parking was relatively easy. You can park anywhere, either in the hotel, street parking, or the parking garage across the street. While we struggled to find the entrances, a hotel employee helped us to the elevator that led us to the cityscape, which was nice. Thank you. After entering, we waited to be seated by the host and got a great view of the city. We ordered a Martini and a Whiskey Sour, along with the cheese board, which was one of the best pairings of food and drink we had. Although the weather was a bit foggy, showing the city view to an out-of-town visitor was still great. I'd highly recommend this place for date night, a night out, or as a gift.

There are two rooms, one in the front with a puzzle theme, and another in the back with a Middle Earth (Lord of the Rings) vibe. Staff was friendly and took time to explain the clever menu to us!

Lore's Wonderland escape room was a fun and delightfully whimsical experience. **This review is…read moremainly for the escape room, as we did not order any additional drinks outside of the escape room.** THE SPACE // Lore Speakeasy and Escape Room has cool themed decor everywhere, from the dimly-lit speakeasy/bar room in front, to the Middle Earth/Lord of the Rings-themed board game room, to the individual bathrooms, and of course the escape room's multiple Alice in Wonderland-themed rooms. Clearly a lot of effort went into building these rooms and evoking a certain vibe for each. THE ESCAPE ROOM // The puzzles in the escape room varied in difficulty - some required us to think a bit more, some required our observational skills to work harder, and others required a light level of physical skill/movement. We were perplexed a few times but never got stuck for too long, as the White Rabbit (played by Phoenix, the live actor/puzzle master) would jump in occasionally to provide clues over the speaker or in person. It took us about 1 hr 20 min to finish the entire escape room; I thought the pacing was good. THE [ESCAPE ROOM] DRINKS // Lore's escape room experience comes with "a flight of themed cocktails or mocktails, including "potion"-style drinks that are integrated into the experience as you progress", per the website. We got to choose one cocktail/mocktail option (Korean Cold Noodles) from a list on the website, and the other two drinks are pre-selected to supposedly fit into the Wonderland theme, with the flavors described online as "berry" and "peach". You can get both cocktail and mocktails for your party, in case some people want alcohol and others don't. We all enjoyed the flavor of the Korean Cold Noodles cocktail, which was refreshing and surprisingly a bit minty in the mocktail version. However, we didn't like the two other two pre-selected themed drinks as much. The "berry" drink gave us cherry cough syrup vibes, and the cocktail version of it was quite strong. The "peach" mocktail drink reminded me of canned fruit syrup; we also were missing the two cocktail versions, though we decided not to ask for them as the mocktail version already was less than impressive. One other missed expectation here was the size of the drinks that we received in the escape room. We were expecting full-sized cocktails, like what they serve in the speakeasy in front. Instead, we found out that the drinks are served in small "vials". Given the size of the drinks in the escape room, combined with us not even enjoying two out of the three drinks, I would preferred to go through the escape room without the drinks at all, and likely pay a bit less for the escape room then. OVERALL // I'd still recommend the escape room as a good one-time experience with a date/friends/family. Just don't expect too much from the included themed drinks! The speakeasy drinks on the main menu do sound unique/tasty, so I might come back again to try those sometime.
