The hostess opened the front door right away to show us inside. My wife ordered the blackened flounder with two sides, southern green beans and the sweet potato cakes, because the server recommended it. I also went with the server's suggestions and ordered the Wagyu chicken fried steak with bacon jalapeno mac-n-cheese and jalapeno cream corn. It might not have been the healthiest choice, but I wanted to enjoy the evening. lol My wife really liked the blackened flounder. The green beans were a bit more overcooked than she liked, though. The chicken fried steak was outstanding and very tender. I liked that the delicious gravy came on the side so the steak stayed crispy. The sides were also outstanding. The GM (Glen, sp?) came to say hello because it was our first time there. I told him everything was wonderful and that we would come back. When we left, the hostess opened the door for us again without missing a beat. Great food, great service, and a lively atmosphere.

For the price, I expected something significantly better. Charging $14 for a slice of cake that tastes this average feels like a complete ripoff. I left disappointed and frustrated with the purchase and will not be returning. To make matters worse, they don't even accept tap-to-pay or Apple Pay. In 2026, that's an unnecessary inconvenience and shows a lack of investment in the customer experience. Between the overpriced, mediocre dessert and the outdated payment options, this was a thoroughly disappointing visit.

Chris our waiter was absolutely amazing !! So attentive…read morekind and professional. What was NOT professional was the blonde manager who had a disgusting attitude.... Zero customer service or the brains to understand what it is like to run a restaurant. I was on a first date that night and after the amazing service from Chris we asked to check out and she came out of nowhere with a horrible attitude.. made things very awkward when we were simply asking for the bill. She was extremely rude and disrespectful to our kind waiter Chris and made us believe he was treated unfairly and illegally within his rights as an employee. I believe in fair working environments and WILL NOT come back here or recommend this restaurant to anyone considering the unprofessionalism and bullying we experience here di to our waiter Chris. The name on the bill is Eddie Ramirez. To see a good hard worker treated with disrespect is appalling to me. We believe in treating workers and the working environment with fairness and respect and this did not happen... the management (blonde manager) made things extremely uncomfortable and weird on my date night to have me and my date question the integrity of this business.. Please practice better management before you get another bad review from lack of professionalism and low quality experience from here based on management interference on bullying an innocent waiter on a good date night.... So disappointed.

The restaurant offers a comfortable yet semi elegant environment and feel. No need to dress up, but I wouldn't wear your worst. The menu offers kids meals but this is a date night place. Alma was our waitress and provided excellent service! We started with an old school gin martini. Gin, splash of vermouth, an olive and a twist of lemon. The first one was terrible. The bartender added lemon juice to it when we wanted lemon twist. That said, they made it right and it turned out delicious! We ordered the calamari to go along with our drink, but got the calamari early, so we had to eat it while it was hot. Needless to say, it took a while for our drink to come out and then be remade. The calamari was good. I ordered the chicken fried steak and my other half ordered the petit filet. Presentation on the plate was great! The chicken fried steak was good, but very thin. The mashed potatoes and green beans were great. The wedge salad my other half got with his steak was wonderful. The blue cheese was very mild and excellent (and I'm not a blue cheese fan)! The petit filet was cooked perfectly but the risotto was clumpy and mushy. I hate to say this, but the steak was good, but not $50 good. My other half said it was kind of bland. Overall, this is a good little place. We do plan to go back and try other menu items like the seafood tacos or the almond crusted red snapper. We also want to enjoy the live pianist on Thursday nights. Give it a go!

It wasn't bad, it just wasn't my preference. I would not get it again. The service at this location was poor today. Since it was pretty empty and all the staff members were surrounding the bar, I sat at the bar. The team was more engaged with their interactions between one another than checking on my party. Each request I made was unnecessarily delayed. When I requested a container which was within eyesight and reach of the staff, I watched the employee stop and check on 2 other guests and make them drinks BEFORE handing me the container. I asked a 2nd person behind the bar and they did a similar thing before passing a container to me. There were 4 people behind the bar and maybe 5 guests, but each time I needed assistance, I had to ask more than once. Also, I could see my food items sitting in the kitchen while the team was continually chatting in the bar. This is my 3rd time at this location, and it will be my last. Although I like some of the menu items, the service today has depleted my tolerance for this location.
