    Charcuterie Board

Yummy!!!! We came to Cino to celebrate a birthday and had the King Crab Pasta, sausage pasta, charred octopus and crispy potatoes . . All were very delicious but just a warning that the food is rich . . We also had the charcuterie board which was really nicely presented with breadsticks instead of crackers . . Super cool! Service was outstanding!!! I love how they wipe your table between tastings!

This place is so imaginative and well-executed... My husband and I had the Crispy Rice Ahi and the Salty Beets for appetizers, which were freaking outstanding! So we were really looking forward to the Pork Chop and the pork special and neither disappointed. Go now to Cino. The service AND the food is impeccable. Plus, I loved their artwork.

Cino is a wonderful high end Italian restaurant in the heart of Ward. It'll cost you at least $100 a person. We enjoyed it for a special occasion celebrating my husband's birthday. Service is excellent, and food is authentic and tasty. I especially loved the ragu and mushroom pastas, Cesar salad (sooo fresh and crunchy) and the octopus appetizer. The rib eye for the price was a disappointment. They try to sell you that it's smoked on guava wood, but truthfully is nothing special... I wouldn't come here for the steak... just get the pastas. We'll come back for special occasions:) Restaurant is quite loud, but it's modern inside. They need to fix their women's bathroom... it STINKS LIKE SEWER! Yuck!

4.5 stars for food and service. The decor and ambiance is cool and comfortable tho on the Saturday nite we dined it was a tad lively and busy, that slowed the timing of the dishes to table. We enjoyed everything and our waiter explained every dish to a T. We will definitely be back.

Service and food were both amazing. I had the special which was a pork shank and shared the cauliflower, smashed potatoes, beet salad, and the panna cotta. My niece had the branzino which she felt was the best fish dish she had ever eaten. Every dish was amazing and I felt the portions were great to share. I can't wait to visit again.

Kakaako, Honolulu The hype is true. The food is good here and so is the service. Have you become exhausted by mediocre food and high prices? Well, so have I. So we were very pleasantly and happily pleased. Pretty upscale and stylish interior, friendly service, and delicious offerings. Always love handmade pasta cooked to el dente perfection with slow cooked beyond tender beef. The Chicken Parmesan was done in a spatchcock style and not buried in sauce or smothered in cheese... You could really enjoy the crispy breading -crunch, tomato topping and just enough cheese without being overwhelming. The octopus was tender with a light char and we enjoyed the mango Panna cotta with fresh fruit. Their take on the tiramisu was nice, sort of like a fancy candy bar meets cream and wrapped in chocolate. Free parking at Whole Foods or across at the theater... Oh! They get their bread from next door at Dean & Deluca. No wonder I loved the sourdough served with churned butter!

Pleasantly surprised to have another solid restaurant in town. The service was top notch and attention paid from the minute we sat down until we left. In fact, the service was better than a lot of fine dining restaurants in town. Now, the food and recommendations: Beet salad 5/5 if you like beet salad this one was one of the best i ever had with macadamia nuts and salt it had a sweet and rich savory taste that was a great starter Crispy Rice 5/5 another great starter. As expected, the rice was crispy and chewy at the same time with the fish giving it a deep but not overpowering flavor profile. Shrimp: 4.5/5 Generous pieces of shrimp and a nice red sauce. Very flavorful and wanted to scoop up more sauce with every bite New York Strip: 4/5 This was the only semi disappointment of the night. Ordered medium rare and because of the cut the end pieces were overcooked and dry. Not that it was bad but this was probably my fault for ordering a steak when there were so many other good options to order. The smashed potato's 5/5 were good but deadly. If you don't want a rich and heavy mashed potato dish don't get this but if you do you cant deny that it is yummy. Overall a really great dining experience and probably one of my favorite new places to go to.

Service: good even for Mother's Day dinner. We were seated quickly 10 min before our reservation time. Restaurant is a little noisy but not crazy loud. Server Sarah came over almost immediately, asked if we wanted any water or if we were ready to order other drinks. Asked for water then perused the cocktail menu. They don't list beers, whiskeys, or bourbons they have, you need to ask, but have a wine list in addition to the cocktail list. Once she gets our order (for anything) she immediately turns so there's no chance to ask questions, she's extremely efficient, not overly friendly. It was Mother's Day so not sure if it's always like that. Drinks were good. Guys ordered beers (Sapporo) gals ordered cocktails, Cino old fashioned for me (Four Roses Bourbon, Angostura Bitters, Jasmine, Orange bitters) and it was very good. Daughter ordered Blood Moon (Tequila, Cointreau, smoked chili liqueur, lilikoi, blood orange, agave, lime, Bittermans Hellfire Shrub), it had a little kick from the chili liqueur, not overly sweet, with a pretty color. Ordered beef tartare, made with fillet mignon (not raw, more like very rare) and coarsely chopped instead of scraped, w/egg yolk emulsion, capers, served with tapioca puff (like giant shrimp chips without shrimp). It was good, but the filet could have been chopped more finely. We also ordered crispy garlic potatoes, it had Parmigiana, and was yummy. Mains: guys got the Scallops with shrimp and fennel risotto. Scallops were good, but the risotto was still crunchy and not cooked enough to be truly creamy. Daughter got the Agnolotti del plin, with artichokes, mascarpone, lemon, ricotta salata. Good but not outstanding. I got the House aged roast duck, leg was confit, breast was roasted, w/orange sauce. Breast was very good, leg was not as tender as it could have been for a confit. Flavor was great. Entrees do not come with starch (unless it's a pasta dish). SIL ordered a twice baked potato, it was huge and good. Dessert was tiramisu (really good) & mini donuts w/some kind of sauce & sprinkles. Not sure because there was no menu, just a verbal description by Sarah. Overall experience was good, food was good, may return and try other dishes but not sure.

    Caprese

Food was so good!!!!! We shared a caprese with bread, which pretty much filled us up. We also shared the garlic Parmesan potatoes and the creamed spinach. The spinach was Devine; warm and silky with a good amount of garlic. I wish the potatoes had more flavor, but they weren't bad. I had the mushroom papardelle which was also really good. I think it would have been better with angel hair pasta, but the thicker noodles worked (just not my fav). My friend had the filet which she said was very tasty, but because we were already so full, she saved it for lunch the next day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Since we sat at the small tables in the bar area, we couldn't really get a good gauge on the vibe of the rest of the place, but hope to come back to experience it all.

This hip little gem is tucked into a cozy residential neighborhood. Our server was kind and attentive, but as the evening went on, the noise level in the restaurant increased, making it difficult to hear--unfortunate, especially since there was no written dessert menu. With only a verbal rundown of dessert options, we ultimately skipped dessert altogether. The drinks were a hit across the table, though I honestly couldn't tell you exactly what everyone ordered--just that they were enjoyed. That said, I would have appreciated a wider selection of mocktail options. As for the food, I'd highly recommend the appetizers and sides. The mains, however, didn't really stand out as something I'd order again. My husband's steak, for example, was ordered medium but arrived much closer to rare. PS: Bring a coat. They blast the AC like the seafood needs to be refrigerated along with the entire dining room.

My second time here and it did not disappoint!! Amazing food, great service and an awesome atmosphere! Tried some different dishes and can confidently say I love everything! Emphasis on the potatoes which we got again because they were soooo good last time!!! They also do a late night cocktail special on Wednesdays till 2am!! Definitely check it out

10/10 highly recommend! Loved that magical purple drink, I think I ordered a little too much lol. The octopus dish was probably my favorite! I need to go back to try other dishes on the menu. Our server, a tall, Caucasian guy, handled our party of 15ish very well. Kudos to him for being extra patient and accommodating. I love how the place is decorated, it honestly reminds me of Vegas for some reason.

Birthday celebration at Cino last night although my birthday is actually today. From start to finish a fabulous dinner. The restaurant seemed to be short staffed but we weren't in any hurry. Five hungry people enjoying good food, good cocktails and some fantastic albeit small selection of desserts. All tables were filled when we arrived except the table reserved in the corner for our family. We all ordered different appetizers and entrees and enjoyed sharing bites across the table...family style. Limited wine list but that's another story. We parked across the street at the Theater complex and walked over. Nice evening.

Do they ever have Chilean Sea Bass? We specifically went for this dish and were told they've never had CSB.

We don’t currently offer CSB but we do have it from time to time.

    Dog friendly outdoor seating?

Yes dogs are welcome on our lanai

I can't find any open days to book a reservation all the way into next year. Is the restaurant actually booked into 2025 or is the site wrong? I'm coming there in July and…

Thanks for bringing that to our attention. Please let me know the information for the reservation and I’ll make it for you.

    How much is corkage fee?

    Corkage is $35

    Is it BYOB?

We have a full bar with an extensive wine list as well.

    Do they have any beer?

We have Peroni and rotating Honolulu Beerworks offerings on tap.

    Where is the entrance?

On Halekauwila St, you pass Whole Foods, Holy Grail and Rinka, cross a little side street, then it’s right after a Pilates studio (or some kind of fitness place). I was focused on food and not wanting to think about exercising! 😝

Where is the entrance? Where do you park?

You can park in the Whole Foods parking structure or the Ward Theater parking. Entrance is on Halekauwila, in the A’alii condo.

Very polite, excellent customer service, and good salesmen lol. Still in the same location, in the heart of Chinatown, in maunakea marketplace, food court side. I ordered the pampano, wife ordered the red snapper, and we was talking about the blue crabs and the guys heard, and did a good job selling it to us. The thing is, they only sold the crabs in a big bulk, like pan size. 2 fish plates, and a pan of crab came out to $100 ish?! I think. Is that a good deal? Idk. lol. Wish they sold it in like 1, 2, or 3 crabs at a time in smaller portions lol. Anyways, this experience was good. They actually went down and picked our fishes for us, but I think the original experience is you go down, pick/buy your own fish, and then bring it up and have them cook it? But even better that they go down to the fish market, grab the fish for you that way no need stress about picking your fish lol Anyway, man they provided a lot of sides, the wife and I, got a side each of scoop of Mac salad, Kim chee cucumber, and Kim chee daikon? To me, they were pretty big portions for sides lol so they served these sides to us first. Yes, and the boys served it to our table. And then served us our food. I think I wanted my fish a little bit more crispier, but was still good. Finally got my pampano fix, and wife really liked her red snapper. I didn't try the crab. Wife said crab was okay. One thing I have to point out is flies. Eating in the food court, for me, personally, no can enjoy eating with flies around. I got to eat and enjoy enough to get full. We were hungry. And we just brought the rest of our food home that we never finish and the pan of crab. Shared it with my father in law. All in all, great experience. 10/10 recommend. Would we come here again? Yes. I have to frickn try the garlic fried noodles, and the wife said she'd definitely go back for her snapper fix again. Go check em out guys!
