My go to spot for frozen crabs legs. The family is nice and informative. Major holidays expect a line the days prior. Never had any issues with quality. read more

Fresh Located in a typical warehouse fashion is this little office. I don't want to say "shop" because you don't see the product. It's all behind industrial refrigerators. And there's a bell if no one is at the front. Prices are reasonable, actually maybe a tad cheaper than the local supermarkets. I like how the lady at the front asked if I had a cooler. I told her no so she grabbed some extra newspaper and plastic bag to help me hopefully keep the clams cool. And these clams were fresh. How do I know!?!? Because they ALL popped when I cooked them. On their site, is there hours and what they sell. I'm looking a crab legs the next party. Overall four stars. I just wish I could see the items before buying them to save time. Also parking is limited. M read more

Love this place so much! They are located right by the airport and it was easy to find parking right out front. We called ahead to make sure they had what we were looking for. We forgot to bring a cooler, but the lady who helped us was so nice and packed our crab so we could make it home. Thankfully they all survived! The crab was so delicious; there's nothing quite like fresh dungeness crab. Can't wait to go back, we will definitely be trying more! read more

They have most seafood that you are looking for. If you are looking for varieties you come to the right place and the price is reasonable.

The seafood is always fresh. But the customer service is not the greatest. It's a hit or miss if the lady is polite and friendly.

I was able to get fresh dungeness crab for Christmas Eve on short notice. Crab was very fresh and delicious.

[Location] Pacific Seafood Distribution is located near the airport (close to Chef Zone and Dunkin). They have plenty of customer parking (read the signage). Make sure to bring an insulated reusable bag (or bags)! [Service] Let's talk about their service! I called ahead to order a dozen mussels to eat raw. Michael was super patient, informative, kind and pro-active. He made recommendations and helped me place my order. Michael even made the effort to call me when the order was ready for me. How sweet is that? I can't think of any other places that would do the same. This is why we support local. This is why we support places like Pacific Seafood! A woman greeted me at the front counter. I didn't get her name but she was very friendly and helpful. She wore a gold chain necklace adorned with jade. She reviewed my order to make sure it was good to go. I needed an oyster knife and she helped me choose from straight and curved. I went with the straight knife as it is more versatile. She even went as far of demonstrating how to safely shuck an oyster. I cannot gush about their customer service enough. Will definitely return! [Food] The oysters were unbelievably fresh! I am hooked (pun unintended). The New Zealand mussels were also great! The oyster knife was cheap and effective. The prices are super fair and the quality is beyond-words amazing. Please support this business! I will be back to order crab legs--yum! read more

We ordered the frozen 20lb box of snow crab legs and Shigoku oysters. The crab legs were pretty thick and the oysters were alive lol super fresh. Their customer service was the best because we originally ordered fat bastard oysters too, but they called saying the shipment was coming in at a later time than expected. So they asked if we wanted to order something else instead or wait for the shipment. We ended up not ordering the fat bastard oysters, but it was considerate of them to call and check with us. Will be ordering from them again :) read more

If you want fresh oysters and fresh seafood, this is a place to go to. They have lobsters, crabs, and oysters. This is where I get my shigoku oysters. Small fresh oysters. You just need to shuck them. They also sell tools in case you don't have a shucker for your oysters. Located closer to the Dunkin' Donuts in Nimitz. There's a small sign so it's easy to miss. Price is pretty good too. read more

Didn't know about this place. Googled seafood place when I was near Chef zone and this place popped up. Needed crab legs and they had great prices and variety. Only negative thing I'd say is that the service felt so pushy and rude but it could just be how the lady talks or looks. It isn't that bad haha. read more

This place is located in a blue warehouse building down the side street from the Airport Dunkin's. There's several available parking spots right in front of the double doors. Bring a cooler to hold the fresh, live lobsters, crabs, oysters or frozen items if you like. They have some of the best prices on Oahu for live seafood, including HMart. They also have frozen seafood items available at great prices and they'll also provide ice for your seafood or cooler. read more

This is always my go to for oysters, crab legs, clams and other Seafood items. This is highly recommended for your party, picnic, got together or just when you cravings. Awesome prices, small no frills spot near the airport where you can get really fresh oysters on the half shell from Japan. Rotating seasonal variety. Staff is all business as this place gets busy. Call ahead to reserve your haul. My boyfriend and I have gotten oysters and lobster here for special occasions and it is always great. Editing my review to clarify that these are wholesale - as in bags of oysters and seafood for home preparation and not a sit down spot! read more

Seafood was fresh, lady at the counter was very helpful. Snow crab was amazing!!! Haven't tried the oysters but that's next!

Yo this spot Right here (Pacific Seafood Distribution) is a place I just fell in love it specially when coming for them OYSTERS ohh wee. Bruh they get the good OYSTERS here at Pacific Seafood Distribution been buying oysters from them couple times already and never disappointed with their oysters. Their OYSTERS are 64pcs for $70 and it's so worth it to be honest. The only other thing I bought here besides their oysters is their JUMBO SCALLOPS (1LB) for $13.95 and bruh it's BIG size Scallops. Parking - parking could be a little challenging specially when their busy cause they share parking stalls with other business in the same complex area. But if you come on a normal day during the week or so parking shouldn't be a problem, I pulled up ima Thursday after lunch and I parked right in front of their entrance. Seafood items - they carry a good amount of SEAFOOD products like * Oysters * Scallops * Crab Legs * Calamari (Squid) * Lobster * Octopus(Tako) * Manila Clams * Ahi Cubes etc Hours of operation change a little , Due to this these times April 2020. Also call before going down to make sure they have the product in hand cause things do sell out quick here hella fast please believe me I've experienced it myself. read more

Shigoku oysters were delicious! The ladies in front recommended the Shigoku for raw and the Pacific for grilling. Went with Shigoku since I don't like cooked oysters. By the time I realized I should take a picture, I only had 11 oysters left lol! Used my deviled egg plate to hold the oysters, looks so off with 11! I also bought a dozen soft shell crabs. I fried them in the air drier and it came out nice and crispy!I would definitely recommend this place to seafood lovers. Great customer service and products! But I wish their hours were a little longer. read more

It's conveniently located near the airport. They have a wide selection, obviously fresh, at reasonable prices.

On a whim, decided on a Friday that we needed to get some oysters. So bf and I made the drive over to grab some, and were lucky enough to grab probably the last couple dozen. We got some of the smaller, specialty oysters, and the larger ones. The staff was super friendly and informed us about the different type of oysters they had on hand, and warned us that the bigger ones would be better for cooking. We did decide to shuck them all, and found the oysters to be fresh, plump, and really good value. Yes, the bigger oysters were hard to shuck because of their brittle shell, but they were still good on the half shell - they just required some very careful shucking. Looking forward to trying out more of their products in the future. read more

We love coming here for our fresh oyster fix and crab legs! They also have other delicious seafood that's reasonably priced. We like getting the box prawns. Steam and cook some butter garlic dipping sauce. We recently got broken crab legs for our crab boil. They were $35/2#. Our crab boil came out great. read more

Thank goodness I set out on cleaning my inbox recently for the new year. I came across an old Yelp newsletter that featured best spots to get fresh oysters on the island, and Pacific Seafood Distribution was featured. I scoped them out, and they had decent prices... a little steep compared to the mainland, but hey it's Hawai'i. What I really like was that (among other things), they sell LIVE DUNGENESS CRAB! Yes, LIVE... not like the frozen ones at Costco. They are located in the industrial part of the island... near the airport. Parking was easy and plentiful in the lot. I went up to the counter and ordered. The market prices are listed on the white board behind the counter. I just told them how many I wanted and the approximate pounds I wanted. I couldn't see where they got the crabs, but the woman weighed them in front of me and then packed them... with an ice pack (yay!). When I brought them home, the crabs were still moving a bit... so they were indeed LIVE. I'm a little wary about places where I can't see the conditions of where they pulled the food from (which is the deduction in star) aside from price. But I ate it last night, and so far... no upset stomach - so that's a good thing. Haha If you need a place to grab some fresh seafood for a meal or special occasion - this is definitely the spot! I'll be returning soon enough! (: Yelp 2019 Challenge: 06/35 read more

Service is awesome. I went in to place an order for pick up later in the week. Wendy called me to let me know that the item I ordered would come in late so we changed by pick up time. Then the day off pick up, she called me to let me know the order did not come in so I could pick up at anytime, after I changed my order. Because this was my first time there Wendy explained how to order and what items they had and explained how to transport to outer island. We ordered Snow crab clusters and they were awesome! So fresh and sweet. I will go back again!! read more

Great service and prices for amazingly fresh seafood. Love getting our seafood from PSD!

This place is amazing. I'm literally surprised and disappointed in myself for not knowing about this place sooner. The cute little lady Informed me that they've been at this location for over 20 years!! Wth! Have I been under a rock this whole time?! Anyways. Place was super easy to find. You have to be on the industrial side of Nimitz and it's a little after chef zone depending on which direction you're coming from. But upon arrival I didn't know what to expect. I was praying to the seafood gods that this place wasn't going to smell like your usual fish market because as much as I love my seafood. I hate the smell of anything fishy. But alas, to my surprise when I walked in, there was no stinky smell and this place is super clean! The cute little lady that helped us was so pleasant and cute. They literally have all of your favorite seafood. Live Dungeness Live Kauai prawns Live Manila clams Live mussels Oysters! Alaskan king crab! They also sell little tools for you to get all your itty bitty pieces of crab meat and everything! You name it! And I love the fact that most of their seafood is live! So much fresher! Dude, their crab is legit. The meat was so tender and soft, and SWEET! You can tell they get their seafood from a good supplier because you can literally taste it. I definitely found a gem here guys and I'm so excited to share it with you all! Go check them out and go buy seafood! This place is awesome. I'd make the drive anytime and any day. read more

Idk how to feel about this location. Located near the airport, you will find this hidden gem near the blue business store fronts. This location has a lot of products to offer. Frozen & live products too. It is a bit on the pricey side but that's what happens when we live in hawaii right?! Those that are allergic to seafood, look the other way lol. The reason for 3 stars is because the female helping me was really rude. Like she didn't want to be there to help me and was being really pushy and made me feel like she didn't want to help me. I would of felt a little ok with the situation had it been busy but there were only two customers and I didn't feel that it was ok to be treated that way. read more

Service, service, service! When people seem to be so divided and frustrated with the state of the world, there is nothing more refreshing than a place that has a WOW level of service. We were really unhappy with the prices and quality of seafood in our local wholesale membership shopper warehouses. A friend had suggested we try this place. "Even though its by the airport, dont let that deter you. This place is awesome". Well he was right. They have such a nice seasonal selection of seafood and truly reasonable prices. I was a little worried about the quality but the staff can speak to where the seafood came from and more than happy to show you to make sure you are comfortable. They spent a lot of time answering our questions and making suggestions...and just the nicest people. they really wanted our birthday seafood feast to be as good as possible. We bought ginormous shrimp and the oysters were so fresh. The Dungeness crab were live and kicking and in great condition. They were delicious. We will go back, Im skipping Same and Costco from now on. I just want to be able to go by and say hi. read more

I wanted to prepare a nice birthday dinner for my husband. What better meal than lobster! So I immediately went to yelp and searched where I could get fresh lobster. This place popped up. I went in the morning and there were a couple of parking spots in front of the establishment. I walked in with my cooler bag thinking it was an actual market where you pick out your lobster, but it's not. You walk in and there's a counter with 2 ladies waiting to help you. You will notice how clean the place is, and it doesn't smell fishy at all! Stainless countertops, clean floors, and the prices clearly written on a white board on the wall. I looked at their price list and saw they had everything you could possibly need! And good prices too. I picked a 3 lb lobster, and a box of mussels. I would get some oysters too, but I feel like it's already a bit too much. But I will definitely go back and try other seafood that they have. It was my first time to see a lobster up close, and I think they sensed that. The 2 ladies explained to me how to kill it humanely, and the proper way of cooking it as well. They put Mr. Lobster nicely in a small box for me to transport home, and i wasn't gonna cook him til dinner so they told me to just put the box in the fridge until im ready to cook it. So that's what I did, and when i opened the box, he was still alive. The mussels are in a box, frozen, half shell which is good for me so I won't have to shuck them. I highly recommend this place. They are very nice and helpful, and this place is clean, which is the most important thing. read more

Pacific Seafood Distribution - Seafood Markets Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Pacific Seafood is the best place in Honolulu to get live lobsters ($14.95-$18.95/lb) and dungeness crabs ($13.95/lb). They also have live oysters upon availability. Even though they are minutes away downtown Honolulu, Kaka'ako and Waikiki, they are a stone's throw from the airport (1 block). When you get these live items, they pack them in boxes with a frozen gel pack (@no extra cost) to keep the food live and fresh. They also sell live and frozen seafood items like shellfish, mussels, oysters, king crab legs. Best bet is to call ahead and find out what's in stock for that day. Ever since the demise of Paradise Seafood on Keeamoku by Ala Moana Mall, there hasn't been a local place to get live lobster and dungeness crabs, unless you want to pay $30+/lb at restaurants like Jade Dynasty or Pagoda Floating Restaurants. Most restaurants won't sell you a live product, though. read more
