One of the best cookies I've ever had!
Eilene C.

My husband and I were enjoying a leisure walk at Pike's Place and stumbled upon this corner bakery. There isn't a place to sit and eat, just a walk-up bakery. This place has a variety large cookies. The ladies were friendly and helped us decide which cookies we should get. I got the oatmeal coconut chip cookie and it was delicious!

Vegan Cinnamon Bun (muffin)

Always busy but always delightful. Good news for all the dairy free folks, they offer several vegan options! From vegan cinnamon rolls, vegan muffins, and vegan cookies! Love them all but really enjoyed the fun cinnamon swirl muffin. Their cookies are huge, shot out to the walnut chocolate chip cookie. Check them out, just south of the infamous Starbucks, outside.

They have gluten free desserts which was a plus. I think they're a little on the expensive side for the size of their deserts. At the same time I'm sure it's that balance of overhead, location, etc.

We were drawn in by the aroma of cinnamon rolls, and found out they had this Infaltion buster deal, which comes with a cup of black drip coffee, and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll tasted alright though.

The Vegan Oatmeal Raisin Cookie

Bought some good things at this Pike Place Market bakery. Cinnamon Works is just one of the many such places in there to get breads and cookies. It also has many options that are gluten free and vegan. Gets crowded when it opens because the stuff is best when it's fresh. The hours are kind of limited, which is the only bad thing. A place that's pretty much just open to get something and go. It's located on the west side of the market. They have the breads and treats on display and you order at the window. An easy process. The hardest thing is waiting. It's about $6 for a cookie. Last time they had the Vegan Oatmeal Raisin. Also there's muffins. These include several plant based ones like the banana chocolate chip, and pumpkin. For sure they bake a lot. It's closed Mondays to Wednesdays, so it's limited for being open. There's plenty to get for vegans.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookie

I was super intrigued by the giant cookie and had to get one for myself. Lines can get long but multiple cashiers help keep it moving. They have lots of sweet treats and gluten free options too. The pumpkin chocolate chip cookie was awesome!

Bullseye Cookie.

I came for one cookie and ended up with 2 cookies and 2 gluten free cinnamon rolls. Get there early because they sell out of muffins fast!

This place is serving up some of the biggest best cookies in Seattle. Situated in Pike Place Market, you walk up, place your order and get your items. They have tons of desserts but I went for the cookies. This review is going to be short but to the point. Go. Get. Some. I tried the following cookies: Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Snickerdoodle, Ginger Snap Molasses and Chocolate Chip with Pecans. Every last one of them was a 10/10. You wanna know how good those cookies were? We legit forgot to take pics! They are gone! No chance at making it to the review. Go for yourself! Thank me later.

Snickerdoodle
Linda L.

Got the snickerdoodle cookie. It's $5.75 ($6.25 if paying with card). This cookie is huuuuge almost the size of one's face. The cookie was not too sweet which was great considering the size. It has a more soft, slightly moist crumbly, (not dry crumbly) texture. You order on the right side by the cashier. Service is fast when I went there wasn't a line. Also for the extra charge when purchasing a card I appreciated that the cashier gave another notice that there is an extra charge for cards despite them already having signs telling you that.

So many vegan options! The vegan chocolate chip walnut cookie tasted incredible and it was very big. Line was short even on a busy weekend and the lady behind the counter was very nice.

Snickerdoodle ($5.75).
Fiona Z.

Great for vegan/gluten-free options, but the two cookes I had weren't actually good, and definitely not worth the $6+ price each. +$0.50 fee for card. Snickerdoodle cookie ($5.75) tasted too eggy and had hardly any cinnamon on top. I wouldn't have called it a snickerdoodle at all. The vegan oatmeal raisin ($6) was fine, but not amazing. Neither had as much cinnamon flavor as the promising smell of the bakery implied.

Gf desserts
Barbara R.

Amazing gluten free pastries. I got a lemon blueberry gf muffin and a monster cookie also gf . Great taste and good quality

Very disappointed. It was so dry like a roll that had been sitting for days. Nothing special at all. I wouldn't waste your money on it

Loved the gluten free chocolate chip cookies as well as the gluten free oatmeal raisin. Not a fan of the blueberry scone, very bland.

Good gluten-free cookies in a touristy area while we're being tourists. Not much else to say, but worth a check for GF goodies.

**Piroshky Piroshky, Pike Place Market**…read more We stopped in around 11am on a Saturday before our Starbucks reservation, and I was surprised to walk right up with no line. My two girlfriends and I split the hash brown, bacon, egg and cheese piroshky, which was the right call. It's hearty enough that a third each was a solid snack to get something in our stomachs before a morning of caffeine. It's exactly as advertised and delicious. The pastry is soft and the filling is generous, with plenty of bacon and hash browns in every bite. It ran a little salty for my taste, but I'd chalk that up to how much bacon they pack in rather than a flaw in the recipe. The best endorsement I can give is that we went back again the next morning.

I've been wanting to make a proper stop here, and we ended up walking away with three different piroshkies. The salmon and beef were easily the standouts. The smoked salmon was fantastic. Rich, savory, and exactly the sort of filling that makes sense wrapped in freshly baked pastry. The beef was equally satisfying, with plenty of flavor and that hearty, comforting quality you want from something like this. Both were worth the stop. We also tried one of the limited time dessert offerings, which was pretty forgettable by comparison. Not terrible, just decidedly mid, especially after how good the savory options were. Sometimes the classics are classics for a reason. There's something about grabbing freshly baked food from a place like this and eating it while wandering around Pike Place that makes the whole experience better. It's busy, a little chaotic, and very much part of the Seattle experience. Five stars for the salmon and beef alone. I'd happily come back and work my way through more of the savory menu, although I'll probably leave the dessert experiments to someone else next time.

They have so many yummy options, but I settled on a mushroom and Gruyère pastry and an earl grey blueberry cruffin. The mushroom and Gruyère pastry was SO good!!! Buttery flaky layers of dough with a strong earthy mushroom flavor and savory cheese - an absolute umami bomb. We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. It was filled with a blueberry cream and was definitely very filling. There's a lot of sugar coating it, as is standard with cruffins, but it's a nice sweet treat. Definitely coming back for the mushroom and Gruyère pastry and to try their other delicious flavors. Their supreme croissant flavor switches often and we can't wait to try the next one! Don't park at the adjacent bank parking lot, even when they're closed, as when I went on Sunday they had someone ticketing everyone who parked and walked away. I got a small baguette and a cinnamon roll. The baguette has a lovely, toothsome crust, yielding to a diaphanous soft inner portion that tastes almost savory. It's good enough to eat by itself, or makes a wonderful base for sandwiches. This is definitely a bread to savor. The cinnamon roll has almost caramelized raisins inside, very unique. The cinnamon is balanced with the brown sugar so it's perfectly sweet. As for the dough, it's laminated so it's almost croissant-like and yet chewy and crisp at the same time. Delicious!

Staff: 5/5 (nice) Sanitation: 5/5 (clean) Soft serve w/syrups (5/5) I've had most of the syrups that they offer with their vanilla soft serve. The soft serve itself is a really creamy and rich vanilla milk flavor. I would say it's closer to that Asian milk flavor if you know what I mean. I think the hojicha syrup is my favorite out of all the ones I've tried so far. It has a really nice roasty flavor and not something you can find at most other places. The matcha I would say is my second favorite. The flavor of the matcha syrup is definitely lighter compared to the hojicha but still is a nice compliment to the soft serve. The black sesame would be the lowest on my list out of the, all since I felt like the flavor was too nutty like it was a blend of sesame and potentially a nut. Overall I would definitely go back for the hojicha but if you're not into that there's definitely solid options for other flavors.
