Acai cup 7/24
Kim Y.

Just 7 minutes walk to the space needle. It was convenient and super fast. It's a tiny place with small fridges housing drinks, snacks, and quick pastries. I grabbed an acai cup. It has a good variety of fruit and acai which was topped with coconut flakes. The guy at the counter was nice and super quick. It was a bit pricey though but needed in hot weather.

Hashbrown
Diana C.

The smoothie was really pretty good and so were the hashbrowns. I think they do breakfast all day which is also nice. The server was super friendly and efficient despite being the only one working and having quite a few orders. For ambiance it's in the bottom of an apartment complex next to the escape rooms, so it's a bit small but cozy with eclectic decor. They have free WiFi too if you're looking for a spot to work off the beaten path but still close to downtown.

Delicious healthy muffins, GF/Dairy free/Almond flour and delicious. Fresh baked
C L.

Amazing food. Look for their homemade vegan/GF/ muffins, they are healthy and taste great. They bake them fresh every couple hours. Blueberry sells out quick. I tried the lentil soup and fresh ingredients made a difference. Good health conscious cafe. Fresh organic options, sandwiches were great! Really pleasantly surprised, will go back!!

1. Blueberry Oatmeal Smoothie

This is a great breakfast place for a quick juice or bite to eat. I've had their blueberry oatmeal smoothie and their green power smoothie. Both were good. For food, I've had their hash browns and lox bagel, which I enjoyed.

Eggplant sandwich and lentil burger
Jenna H.

The eggplant sandwich was really good! The lentil burger was good as well but I wish it had more sauce. Would recommend if you're in the area to grab a sandwich, didn't get coffee but I was intrigued by the chagaccino.

From the moment we stepped inside I was awestruck by the whimsy of the cottage-core decor; the homey vibe makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. When we arrived the cafe had two other customers, but was clean and inviting. There was only one woman behind the bar so it took a moment for her to get to us, but totally understandable for a small business during the week and we didn't have anywhere to be. Gigi was super patient taking our order, and especially accommodating with my multiple allergies and food preferences. She made my eat pray love açai bowl perfectly customised how I wanted it and it tasted incredible and totally surpassed all my expectations. I also ordered an iced oat milk hazelnut mocha latte and loved the flavour. While it was a little sweet at first, over the course of the day it stayed delicious even after all the ice melted, which is a win for a slow-bevvy-enjoyer like me. I loved that the cafe had so many fun games to play. My boyfriend picked out Connect 4 and we had a blast playing a few rounds before our breakfast arrived to the table. I was so obsessed with how gorgeous the açai bowl was I almost didn't want to eat it. It took everything in me to be patient and let my phone eat first with how delectable the fresh fruit looked. The crunch of the granola was a perfect juxtaposition to the tart smoothie base and I loved how the honey pumped up the sweetness. Even hours later I'm still thinking about my açai bowl, I can't wait to drag everyone I know for breakfast here!!

I decided to try the matcha bubble waffle since I love a good bubble waffle. This is the first flavored bubble waffle I've ever ordered so I was a bit surprised at the texture difference on the inside. It looks undercooked but taste wise it definitely has a hint of matcha. It's a very cute establishment and when we went it was pretty quiet. The employees mostly kept to themselves at the counter or in the back. Seems like a great place to grab a drink and work in peace or catch up with friends!

I've only tried their chocolate and regular waffles, as well as a few of their tea options. Compared to the tea, the waffles and toppings are very mellow in flavor, while the drinks can be quite sweet. I haven't tried reducing the sweetness because I like the way they make their tea--at least, the ones I usually get. I prefer their fruit-flavored teas over the milk-based ones, but the milk-based options are also good. The inside is small and clean, with plenty of seating and enough separation for a bit of privacy if you're with a date. The place is very well lit, and you can watch the workers as they prepare everything. The workers are almost always pleasant and communicate well. However, on my last visit, they actually made me upset. I didn't say anything, but let's just say I had to wait to get my order after everyone else received theirs, even though I had ordered for three people. This meant they got their items, and I got mine after them, along with other random waiting customers, and even those who showed up in the next ten minutes. That was frustrating. Either way, it's just a simple snack, nothing extremely fancy like soufflé cheesecakes. Oh, and the parking stinks, but what else is new downtown / slu? At least there's plenty to do in this area, which makes coming here much easier as I often find myself already planning to hang out nearby. The beautiful surroundings and the restaurant being about one story up mean great views while you indulge.

Verve Bowls -- Downtown Seattle…read more Location? Elite. Walking distance from Pike Place Market, dodging airborne fish and narrowly avoiding a shoulder-check into the Gum Wall. If you're going to refuel in Seattle, this is prime territory. Now let's talk bowl. I'll be honest -- walking in, it felt a little... franchisey. Order-from-a-screen energy. Minimal small talk. Not quite the warm hug of a family-owned neighborhood gem. I was concerned. Then the bowl arrived. Ordered the Vervacious Bowl (Large, obviously -- I refuse to learn). And I LOVED it. Generous toppings. Not a sprinkle situation. A commitment. Peanut butter and açaí together? That combo continues to be undefeated. Jordan & Pippen. PB & Açaí. Some partnerships just work. Ingredients were fresh. Clean. Post-meal feeling? Light, energized, no regrets. That matters. Now for the structural critique. Why are we still building bowls vertically like we're constructing a downtown condo tower? These tall bowls make mixing a tactical challenge. I'm in there trying to integrate layers like I'm coaching a zone offense. Flavor? Great. Execution? Strong. Engineering? We can improve. Great company. Great location. Great variety of options. This place knows what it's doing -- even if I'd love a little more personal touch in the experience. Would I go back? Absolutely. Especially if I'm anywhere near Pike Place and need to restore order after tourist cardio.
