    Egyptian red lentil soup
    Rima Z.

Cozy little neighborhood cafe. Unusual menu offerings and warm and friendly service. I've always wanted to try a middle eastern style of lentil soup, so was happy to try this version. Thick and creamy, with strong cumin flavor. A squeeze of lemon would have brightened it nicely. A tasty breakfast alternative. My friend let me try her sausage sandwich - the sausage has a great flavor. Delicious sandwich combo.

    Acai cup 7/24

Just 7 minutes walk to the space needle. It was convenient and super fast. It's a tiny place with small fridges housing drinks, snacks, and quick pastries. I grabbed an acai cup. It has a good variety of fruit and acai which was topped with coconut flakes. The guy at the counter was nice and super quick. It was a bit pricey though but needed in hot weather.

Bacon, egg and cheese on everything bagel with turkey bacon and freshly cracked egg with melted cheese. Snickers Signature Latte!

If you're looking for good coffee and breakfast, definitely recommend! Also, has lunch options and smoothies. Very delicious and healthy options! 10/10!!

    Hashbrown

The smoothie was really pretty good and so were the hashbrowns. I think they do breakfast all day which is also nice. The server was super friendly and efficient despite being the only one working and having quite a few orders. For ambiance it's in the bottom of an apartment complex next to the escape rooms, so it's a bit small but cozy with eclectic decor. They have free WiFi too if you're looking for a spot to work off the beaten path but still close to downtown.

    1. Blueberry Oatmeal Smoothie

This is a great breakfast place for a quick juice or bite to eat. I've had their blueberry oatmeal smoothie and their green power smoothie. Both were good. For food, I've had their hash browns and lox bagel, which I enjoyed.

Amazing food. Look for their homemade vegan/GF/ muffins, they are healthy and taste great. They bake them fresh every couple hours. Blueberry sells out quick. I tried the lentil soup and fresh ingredients made a difference. Good health conscious cafe. Fresh organic options, sandwiches were great! Really pleasantly surprised, will go back!!

Climb upstairs and get ready to be wowed…read more It's not the easiest to find, but the Pike Place location sits on the top floor of the Corner Market building. Hidden, and almost spa-like. We came in on a rainy morning and found seats next to the glowing fireplace. Talk about cozy! Massive windows overlook the chaotic market below. They serve coffee, tea, pastries, a few food items, and snacks. My salted caramel latte was pretty incredible. This might sound cheesy but as I drank it, I really couldn't believe how exquisite it was. Very lightly sweetened, unbelievably smooth, the foam holding its shape all the way to the last sip, and that little touch of salt tying everything together. No joke, possibly the best latte I've ever had. Back to the space, it's dark, warm, and sexy, with soft gold and amber accents. It reminded me so much of the way I designed my own home so of course we ended up staying much longer than planned. We felt so at home. So if you're a coffee lover, you need to find this spot and experience it for yourself. One word - transcendent.

They were even nice enough to offer me a free piece of cake while I was sipping on my drink, I declined but it looked delicious. We were initially enticed to visit Chaco Coffee & Tea given the mention of boba on their website. There aren't many options near Seattle Center, so having an additional one is always welcome! Walking in, unfortunately we found no mention of boba anywhere on the menu. I guess it's a future option or perhaps the website is just wrong, considering that they show photos of rolled ice cream, which they also don't serve. Ordering can be done either in person or at a kiosk near the front. There's plenty of seating and while we entered in the late afternoon, there were still several people inside settled down on laptops. Osmanthus Oolong Tea, 16oz ($6.25) - This is a very lightly sweetened beverage with plenty of fragrant flowery flavor emanating from the osmanthus. It's a really clean flavor, not quite grassy, but somewhat green in essence, coming with just a slight astringent bite towards the finish. It's a good, clean iced tea. (4/5) Da Hong Pao Tea Latte ($7.50) - This latte has a nice strong balanced nutty flavor. I saw the barista pour milk into the cup up to maybe 3/4 full, so I'm surprised that the tea flavor is so strong in this drink. The milk adds tons of body but doesn't contribute an overwhelming dairy flavor. They add a lot more sugar syrup into this drink - it's probably equivalent to 75% sweet or so at a boba shop, although it's not harsh at all due to likely being pure cane syrup instead of fructose. (4/5) The tea quality at Chaco is pretty good. It's always nice to see a cafe (rather than a tea shop) with such great variety! The major downside - pricing is really high especially for some of the premium teas. It's like double the price of actual tea shops in Seattle. I guess that's the Seattle Center tax? Bathrooms - Shared with the rest of the building tenants.
