First off, kudos to the super kind workers here!! Amazing to be acknowledged and chatted with when you walk in. Menu looked stellar, but we had already eaten breakfast at the hotel. By the looks of this shop, you could tell it was a loved business in a nicer area. Ordered the Hazelnut Mocha. Served hot, which I love, but it was heavy on the mocha. I almost feel bad about writing this. The WONDERFUL gal behind the counter is here alone. Door-Dashers keep coming in to pick up orders. I ordered the omelette- and because she is so busy, it seems to have been left on the burner too long- dried up, slightly burned, and flavorless. She is awesome, but my food was almost inedible. I ate it, though, so moving on. The place is organic and follows suit with decor- very simple and comfy. Clean enough- but my plastic fork bent in half trying to cut through the hard omelette- really wish they had real silverware. Cozy little neighborhood cafe. Unusual menu offerings and warm and friendly service. I've always wanted to try a middle eastern style of lentil soup, so was happy to try this version. Thick and creamy, with strong cumin flavor. A squeeze of lemon would have brightened it nicely. A tasty breakfast alternative. Cute little shop near the needle. Was looking for a place to get a smoothie for breakfast and was really happy to come upon this place. Service was excellent and top notch. I appreciated that the menu was labeled for dietary needs. I ordered a smoothie and a gluten free muffin. My daughter ordered a gluten free waffle which was a huge treat. Afterwards we shared a mushroom coffee. Also really tasty. The food was really yummy and we appreciated the ability for a fresh start to our day! Healthy vibes, but not quite worth the price. After days of overindulging in carbs and sugar, I was craving something clean and nourishing--Pluto Organic Cafe seemed like the perfect stop. I ordered a large Sunrise with added beets and a regular Mango Tango. The total came out to $24, which felt steep for smoothies. Both drinks were very light in consistency--more like juice than a smoothie. The Mango Tango was tasty, but I was hoping for something thicker and more filling. The Sunrise was supposed to have chia seeds, but I couldn't detect them at all--no crunch, no texture. I make smoothies at home daily, and chia seeds usually stand out, so I was a little disappointed. Just 7 minutes walk to the space needle. It was convenient and super fast. It's a tiny place with small fridges housing drinks, snacks, and quick pastries. I grabbed an acai cup. It has a good variety of fruit and acai which was topped with coconut flakes. The guy at the counter was nice and super quick. It was a bit pricey though but needed in hot weather. read more

I often come to Pluto after yoga for a protein smoothie, and they never disappoint. Their smoothies automatically come with a milk substitute which I appreciate, making them vegan (I belive their protein is plant based as well but I could be wrong!) There are lots of food options, from açaí bowls to sandwiches to muffins and more. Service is quick and friendly. The drink size options are HUGE and a great deal. There's also this incredible pistachio chocolate for sale by the register which I've given as gifts, and everyone raves about it! read more

The smoothie was really pretty good and so were the hashbrowns. I think they do breakfast all day which is also nice. The server was super friendly and efficient despite being the only one working and having quite a few orders. For ambiance it's in the bottom of an apartment complex next to the escape rooms, so it's a bit small but cozy with eclectic decor. Amazing food. Look for their homemade vegan/GF/ muffins, they are healthy and taste great. They bake them fresh every couple hours. Blueberry sells out quick. I happened to stumble across this place one morning during my stay in Belltown and was greeted by the sweetest person. I believe he was the shop owner. I ordered a cappuccino with a touch of vanilla and it was an immediate obsession after my first sip. The coffee was so good! They had other bites so of course I had to come back. The next day I came back with a friend for the avocado salmon sandwich and my friend ordered the grilled cheese. Both sandwiches were so good! Just a small little family owned quick stop spot for all kinds of things. They have sandwiches and looks like different breakfast items. I only stopped by because they had smoothies and wanted to get a strawberry/banana one. Service was fast as I was the only one in there on a weekend. I was a little surprised because they seem to add sugar, which is a plus. They also added protein powder to it, which I wasn't expecting but still worked out anyways. Three stars for delicious green smoothie, and friendly service. Not sure if they're actually brewing organic coffee as they claim to be. I was waking around looking at the bags of coffee for sale, as my order was being made, and noticed that only some of the coffee they sell is organic, so I walked over to the coffee bar and the large bag they were using to make their coffee drinks is the same brand as the non-organic one they sell. I asked the barista about it and she didn't know what to say. She called someone on the phone and asked the person in another language about the coffee and just looked up at me and said it's organic. I looked up the brand's website and there is no information about it being organic--not even the statement that it's fully organic but it's too expensive to be certified so they elect not to pay for it. read more

It is close to Pikes Place, but far enough that there aren't as many crowds.

It's a really clean flavor, not quite grassy, but somewhat green in essence, coming with just a slight astringent bite towards the finish. It's a good, clean iced tea. (4/5) Da Hong Pao Tea Latte ($7.50) - This latte has a nice strong balanced nutty flavor. I saw the barista pour milk into the cup up to maybe 3/4 full, so I'm surprised that the tea flavor is so strong in this drink. The milk adds tons of body but doesn't contribute an overwhelming dairy flavor. They add a lot more sugar syrup into this drink - it's probably equivalent to 75% sweet or so at a boba shop, although it's not harsh at all due to likely being pure cane syrup instead of fructose. (4/5) The tea quality at Chaco is pretty good. It's always nice to see a cafe (rather than a tea shop) with such great variety! The major downside - pricing is really high especially for some of the premium teas. It's like double the price of actual tea shops in Seattle. I guess that's the Seattle Center tax?
